Not that it would ever happen in a million years (and considering how few credible faces the WWE has), but WWE could slowly turn DX heel by having them run with they "Younger guys aren't poopy compared to us angle" and have it lead to an idea mentioned by someone else on this board a while back: CM Punk eliminating HHH and HBK at Royal Rumble, and HHH and HBK get pissed off and try and degrade CM Punk and tell him he is a nobody compared to them. DX could eventually bury the hatchet with Team Rated RKO and form a super heel stable set on establishing their dominance and keeping up-and-comers down. Then CM Punk and a group of (departure from reality in 5...4...) faces from the 3 brands attempt to challenge the DX/RKO stable, leading to a Survivor Series match (3...2...) in which CM Punk's team and the heel stable face off in, with Punk's team debuting a mystery teammate (1..), who would just so happen to be (you have officially left reality) BROCK LESNAR! Lesnar and Punk survive the match and are victorious. I know I know, the above scenario has no chance in hell of taking place, but the thinking about it makes me mark out like a little kid. Would be a great way to really get over faces that need fan support (Lashley, Carlito if he starts giving a crap about wrestling again, pretty much anyone forced to job to DX in 2006), would make me care about DX again (don't hate them as faces, but both HHH and HBK are more entertaining as heels), and if nothing else it would mean Brock Lesnar is back. I really bought into the idea of him being "The Next Big Thing" and wish he and the WWE had parted on better terms so that a return might be possible. Anyway, I'm done dreaming up impossible angles for the night. I think the biggest leap of faith there is that there is even a remote possibility that Lesnar could be a face if he came back.

It has to be the Rock. I can almost imagine the Rock referring to himself as the Greatest in-ring performer.... and he's one of the few who hasn't faced Shawn.

Shawn was talking about all the generic crew cut blue chippers and talentless hosses that have been shoved down our throats for the past 6 years or so. None of them amounted to anything. Orton is one of the main culprits.
We're going to have to suffer through it again with Lenny Dykstra now.

Now Punk sticking his face into Steph's cleavage and going "WAWAWAWAWAWA" might affect his chances. Actually, considering how well he seems to do with the ladies, I'm not so certain Punk would in the slightest way offend Stephanie by doing so.

Yeah, I was thinking it was a shot at Kurt Angle too. Which I can't disagree with him being called the best in-ring performer of his generation, because concerning WWE, then it's true... it's true.

(Thinks about the possibilities of a HBK-Lesnar showdown or HBK- Rock and drools)
On a side note, I was thinking.... with the exception of Umaga has HBK had an actual one on one singles match this year with anybody not with the first name Vince or Shane?

He meant that their WASN'T any greatest in ring performer of this generation, there for he's still waiting for one.

Yeah, that is very true. Lesnar is much better off as a monster heel. But if there was a situation such as DX/RKO taking out one of the face teams' wrestlers in the RAW before the PPV and them needing a 5th man, and the face team would possibly have to forfeit because the heel stable had scared other wrestlers into not wanting to join them, and then Lesnar shows up at the PPV to join the team, I would buy him as a face. Then they could turn him into a monster heel later on before Wrestlemania.

I think he was talking about AJ Styles. During the height of the AJ Styles craze I do remember a couple of publications calling him the greatest in-ring performer of the new generation, he was in the WWE for like 30 seconds, HBK has never faced him and he is currently curtain jerking for TNA (well ok not really but he isnt main-eventing neither). I thought Angle too but HBK and Angle had thier big time matches and I believe DX are just going to leave that VKM stuff alone...

Oh, c'mon people!!!! Shawn was talking about the Rock. That is the one wrestler Shawn's had contact with, a few times in 1999 and 2000, and never wrestled. Plus, people have been wanting to see it; and the Rock has refused to face Michaels.

Where the hell did that even come from??
