The Cena hate has died down so much since Bobby and Batista's pushes. When it really comes down to it, he is the lesser of 3 evils, and he really isn't that bad at all. He isn't the best by any stretch, but he definately could be with time.

Cena is still better in the ring than Hogan, Sid, or Piper ever were, in all honesty.
It's all a matter of character.

In matches where they let him go with the flow, like at One Night Stand when he knew to play heel to RVD, he shows he's good at what he does when they let him be.

I absolutely hated Cena like a brainless IWCer, until ONS '06. Really, I started to respect Cena for what he is when he played greatly with the absolutely hostile crowd. Its not like Botchista who needs a hot crowd to work with. Point is, Don't blame Cena for Superman Cena. Blame WWE.

I don't blame him...if he was booked better, though, I'm sure I'd actually enjoy seeing his title defenses instead of the sporadic "wow...that was great" every couple of weeks.

I didn't stop watching because of Cena the man, just his push. It seems like he's a nice guy, he's just being pushed like Hogan mark 2 sans the mainstream interest.

Nope, by which point they won't drop, just collapse completely. Like all things this way, when someone else comes along considered more cool by youngsters, he's dead.
