12. MISS ELIZABETH, 299 POINTS

While working at International Championship Wrestling shows, Hulette met Randy Poffo, a wrestling performer with the stage name "'Macho Man' Randy Savage". They married in December 1984. Their relationship led to a prominent on-air role as Savage's "manager", that is, spokesperson and "lighter side" for the wrestling persona. Departing from the traditional manager-as-mouthpiece role, Hulette, now known as "Miss Elizabeth", very rarely spoke or appeared alone on-camera — Savage's character did not require a sidekick to communicate effectively for him. Instead, the routine often went like this: Just as Miss Elizabeth was about to respond to comments or questions directed at her by the host or other on-camera characters, Savage would cut her off. Savage also acted very possessively toward Miss Elizabeth. The "Macho Man"'s personality dominated Miss Elizabeth off-screen as well, acting very protectively of her, and jealous of any attention that her beauty might divert from him.

In 1985, the WWF was doing an angle where all the managers in the promotion were bidding for Randy Savage's services. During a match on July 30, 1985, several managers were at ringside in hopes that he would name one of them as his new manager. After the match, Savage thanked the managers for their consideration and then asked that his new manager come to ringside. An unnamed woman then came down to the ring, and announcer Bruno Sammartino remarked, "She must be some sort of movie star." It would later be revealed that her name was Miss Elizabeth. Elizabeth's WWF debut aired on the August 24, 1985 edition of WWF Prime Time Wrestling, and from that point on, she was the manager of Randy Savage.

Miss Elizabeth's first major angle was during Savage's feud with George "The Animal" Steele in 1986. In the angle, Steele fell in love with Miss Elizabeth, angering Savage and leading to a series of matches. Their feud was one of the WWF's most popular of the 1980s; it carried on for more than a year, thanks to the feral Steele's continued crush on Elizabeth. She also figured prominently in Savage's 1986 feud with Hulk Hogan and Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat.

After injuring Steamboat's larynx, Savage lost his Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania III on March 29, 1987 to Steamboat. The Savage-Steamboat match concluded after 19 attempted pinfalls, with Steamboat finally taming the Savage. Steamboat later lost the title to The Honky Tonk Man. Honky's constant harassment of Miss Elizabeth instigated a challenge by Randy Savage. In the match, which aired on NBC's Saturday Night's Main Event in October 1987, Miss Elizabeth persuaded Hulk Hogan to rescue and join Savage to form The Mega Powers, defeating The Honky Tonk Man and his allies, Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.

The year 1988 would be a pivotal one for Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Hulk Hogan, who had been the Champion and the foundation upon which the WWF's popularity was built, lost the WWF World championship belt in a match against André the Giant. André the Giant then sold the belt to the "Million Dollar Man", Ted DiBiase. This resulted in a championship tournament at WrestleMania IV, which Randy Savage won. With Miss Elizabeth alongside him in the spotlight, she was the first female manager-valet to ever reach such a successful plateau.

At the first ever SummerSlam, The Mega Powers teamed up against André The Giant and Ted DiBiase, with Jesse Ventura as the referee. Most of the pre-match build-up centered around Elizabeth, who by this time was at the peak of her popularity. The tease for the match was that if things got bad, Elizabeth, billed as the secret weapon of The Mega Powers, was going to wear a bikini under her fancy clothes. Towards the end of match, André and Dibiase were in control, so Elizabeth got up on the apron and ripped her skirt off to reveal a red bikini bottom, which distracted both André and DiBiase. The Mega Powers quickly took advantage of the situation and won the match after Ventura made a reluctant three-count.

Miss Elizabeth became the catalyst for the breakup of the Savage–Hogan relationship. During a 1989 tag team match that pitted the Mega Powers against The Twin Towers (Akeem "The African Dream" and The Big Bossman), Savage was thrown onto Miss Elizabeth, knocking her unconscious on the outside of the ring. Seeing this, Hogan scooped her up and, as the match continued, carried her to the backstage area for medical attention. Upon his return to the ring, Hogan was greeted with anger from Savage for having abandoned him in the midst of a match. Savage slapped his partner and left the ring area. Hogan continued the match, winning singlehandedly. Hogan exited the ring and reached the backstage area, where Savage attacked him, turning Savage heel.


[edit] 1990-1992
Savage remained a heel for several years, eventually taking on Sherri Martel as his manager and dubbing himself "The Macho King" after defeating "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan for the "king of the ring" tournament crown in 1989. Miss Elizabeth was a full-time valet and did not officially wrestle in a single match. However, she engaged in a notable feud with Sherri Martel, including several catfight segments. When Savage and Martel began a heated feud with "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire, Miss Elizabeth came to their aid and joined forces with them. This came to a head at WrestleMania VI, where the two couples were engaged in the WWF's first mixed tag-team match. When Martel attempted to help Savage double-team Rhodes, Miss Elizabeth grabbed Martel by the hair. While the two women faced off, Sapphire took advantage of the situation, kneeling down behind Martel just as Miss Elizabeth pushed her. Martel lost her balance and gave Sapphire enough advantage to pin Martel for the win.

Miss Elizabeth disappeared from WWF television until WrestleMania VII, when Savage lost a retirement match to The Ultimate Warrior. Upon his loss, Martel began beating him, kicking the defeated man, until Elizabeth, who was sitting at ringside, entered the ring and defended Savage. Elizabeth grabbed Martel by the hair and threw her out of the ring, reuniting Savage and Elizabeth.

The couple then held a heavily promoted on-air wedding billed as "The Match Made In Heaven" at SummerSlam 1991 in New York's Madison Square Garden (the couple were officially married in 1984). At the wedding reception, Elizabeth opened a gift package containing a live snake, which frightened her. This led to Savage coming out of retirement for a feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Moments later, Roberts and The Undertaker crashed the reception and assaulted Savage. At the Tuesday in Texas pay-per-view, Savage pinned Roberts. Following the match, Roberts beat down Savage, then forced Elizabeth to beg him to stop the beating. Apparently dissatisfied with her begging, Roberts grabbed her by the hair and slapped her across her face. On a February 1992 episode of Saturday Night's Main Event, Roberts, with a steel chair in tow, was waiting in the backstage area for Elizabeth and Savage to come through the curtain after a match. Roberts was about to strike Elizabeth with the chair, but Undertaker stopped him. This started Undertaker's feud with his former ally.

In her final WWF angle, WWF Champion Ric Flair bragged that he dated Elizabeth before Savage met her. Flair's tagline was, "She was mine before she was yours." He showed photos of himself with Elizabeth in casual situations, which would later be printed in an issue of WWF Magazine. Flair, with Mr. Perfect as his "executive consultant", said that they were going to show a nude photo of Elizabeth on the screen at WrestleMania VIII, although this did not occur. Instead, Savage regained the belt in a match with Flair at the event, and WWF Magazine would later reveal that the photos were doctored, as other photographs showed Elizabeth in the exact same poses and situations, but with Savage. Elizabeth's final WWF appearance took place on April 19, 1992 during an overseas tour of England. Randy Savage pinned Shawn Michaels after Miss Elizabeth, who had earlier been sent backstage, returned to prevent Sherri's interference.

Elizabeth walked out of her real-life relationship in the summer, and when she did, with no fanfare, she was gone from the WWF for good. It also caused a real-life rift between Hulk Hogan and Savage which continued on for years. Whether true or not, Savage blamed Hogan and his wife Linda for influencing Elizabeth to seek a divorce from him. Apparently, Elizabeth did not bother to return home to Savage as she was hiding out from him. Their divorce became official in 1992, and WWF Magazine acknowledged the divorce in an issue that year.


[edit] World Championship Wrestling (WCW)

In January 1996, Miss Elizabeth would return to wrestling as a valet for Savage. She would later turn against Savage and become Ric Flair's valet in the Four Horsemen. She later turned against the Four Horsemen and joined the New World Order (nWo) alongside Savage and Hogan. In June 1998, she parted ways with Savage once again by joining Hogan's side of the nWo, nWo Hollywood. Then, for the next few months she would often accompany Eric Bischoff on his way to the ring.

Elizabeth briefly married to a non-wrestler, Cary Lubetsky, a South Florida attorney, in December 1997. The wedding was held at the Cuban Hebrew Temple in Miami Beach. The marriage was short-lived, as the couple were divorced in 1998.

On the January 4, 1999 episode of Nitro, Elizabeth was seen talking to police detectives. She claimed that Bill Goldberg was stalking her and that he even accosted her by the water cooler. She then filed charges against Goldberg. Goldberg was arrested later that night for aggravated stalking and taken into custody by police. However, later that night, Elizabeth admitted that she was lying. As it turned out, Elizabeth was a pawn for the nWo so that Goldberg wouldn't be able to have his scheduled title match with Kevin Nash later that night. Due to Goldberg's apparent absence, the returning Hulk Hogan took Goldberg's title shot in the infamous match that would be known as "The Fingerpoke of Doom". Soon after, Elizabeth would accompany Lex Luger and sometimes Kevin Nash to ringside. However, Luger injured his biceps at a February 1999 house show and they soon took time off the road.

Behind the scenes, the real-life Elizabeth was going through a divorce with Cary Lubetsky, a South Florida attorney, and started seeing Luger socially. In January of that year, she received a sizable breast augmentation. She once strutted down to ringside, baring her enlarged chest wrapped in a tight velvet blouse. Despite that one-off moment, Elizabeth was not planning on going down the "T & A" route, popular at the time. In a 1999 interview WOW Magazine conducted with Elizabeth, she said, "There's obviously an audience for everything, especially the titillation of 'let me show you what's under my top' approach. You will never see me in an evening gown match or anything like that where someone's going to rip my clothes off. I just don't think it's necessary. For those people that it works for, good for them." [1]

In February 2000, Elizabeth managed the short-lived partnership between Luger and Ric Flair. The three of them would be known as Team Package. The trio's main goal was to take down Hulk Hogan, whom Luger had been publicly challenging for the previous few weeks. During the February 2, 2000 edition of WCW Thunder, while Hogan's back was turned, Elizabeth came into the ring, bat raised. However, Hogan quickly turned around and easily out-muscled the bat from her possession. As a receipt for her dastardly act, and in a throwback to his attacks on Sensational Sherri in the WWF, Hogan picked up Liz and held her up high in the air and delivered his patented atomic drop. However, Elizabeth no-sold the maneuver and quickly rolled out of the ring. Shortly thereafter, Team Package went their separate ways as they fought various members of The New Blood. Elizabeth would engage in short-lived feuds with Vince Russo and Kimberly Page.

Elizabeth had already undergone a sizable breast augmentation by the time of her black and leather-clad, "nWo meddling manager" storyline. Russo often tried to devise angles in which private, shy Elizabeth would at long last end up in her undergarments before TV cameras and an arena full of fans. Russo then created an angle in which he would control Elizabeth and her contract against her will. Russo's original intent for the angle was for Elizabeth to engage in promiscuous situations on-camera, and later, took part in her first wrestling matches. She squared off against Madusa, Daffney, and Rhonda Singh, all having far more athletic ability and in-ring experience than Elizabeth, and all resulting in humiliating losses. By June 2000, Larry Pfohl, aka Lex Luger, who had a 7-figure, guaranteed contract, had such a strained relationship with WCW management, that he and Elizabeth were told not to return to work - while still collecting their full paychecks. However, Elizabeth's contract had to be renewed every 90 days; WCW released her from her contract on August 17, 2000, in what was officially labeled a cost-cutting move.


[edit] Later life
Despite being let go by WCW, Elizabeth and Luger stayed together as a couple. Friends of Elizabeth said the two were planning on getting married sometime in 2003. Elizabeth began working the front desk at Main Event Fitness in Marietta, Georgia, a gym that Luger had owned for years after he and Steve Borden opened it during their wrestling heyday. Elizabeth never made another wrestling appearance after her release from WCW, although she was booked to appear alongside Luger on a December 2002 European tour with the World Wrestling All-Stars promotion. Elizabeth went on the trip, but never appeared on a WWA show for undisclosed reasons. While on the trip, she never left her hotel room, except to get on the bus or plane to the next show. Shortly thereafter, both strangely stopped going to the gym.

On April 19, 2003, police responded to a call about a fight in the garage of the couple's townhome. When police arrived, Elizabeth had two black eyes, knots on the forehead, and a split lip. She claimed she had fallen down while trying to control the family dog, but police didn't buy her story. Luger was charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly striking Elizabeth during a domestic dispute. He was released on $2,500 bond. Two days later, Luger was arrested on a DUI charge after his 2002 Porsche rear-ended another car near his home. According to the police report, Luger had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and he couldn't find his driver's license. Elizabeth, with him at the time, was sent home by police in a taxi. Luger's license had been suspended on March 5, 2003 after he failed to appear for a court charge on charges of driving with expired tags and no proof of car insurance.

On May 1, 2003 in Marietta, Georgia, Luger called 9-1-1 from his home and reported that Elizabeth was not breathing. She did not respond to mouth to mouth resuscitation, and paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at age 42. (Luger's phone call was later aired on an episode of WWE Confidential.)

Police launched an investigation. Two weeks prior to her death, Lex Luger had been arrested on charges of domestic violence. In the home he and Elizabeth shared, police found pills of hydrocodone and alprazolam (Xanax), as well as anabolic steroids, testosterone, and Saizen. The subsequent autopsy showed that Elizabeth died of an accidental drug overdose, having ingested some of the medications with vodka. Though Luger was cleared of any wrongdoing in connection with her death, he was charged with felony drug charges.

In her honor, a slideshow of her career was shown on WWE SmackDown!.

While some websites and news sources have reported her being buried somewhere in Georgia, her final resting place is in Frankfort, Kentucky, at the Frankfort Cemetery next to her grandparents, the Sorgs.[2]

Wrestling career

In her youth, Dawn Marie was a fan of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), admiring wrestlers such as Bob Backlund, Jimmy Snuka and Roddy Piper. She graduated from the New York University Stern School of Business at the age of 23 and went on to work for a real estate consultancy firm in Manhattan, New York, reaching the position of Director of International Real Estate.[1]

After meeting an ex-boyfriend who had aspired to play football professionally and finding out that he had been signed by the Chicago Bears, Dawn Marie decided that she would pursue a career in entertainment. She resigned from the firm and moved into the entertainment industry with the goal of becoming either a model or an actress.[2]

While signing modeling posters for Jonathan Gold, a talent agent and professional wrestling promoter, Dawn jokingly told Gold that she would be interested in pursuing a career in wrestling. Gold took her comment at face value and later contacted Dawn Marie, informing her that she was scheduled to appear at a wrestling show in New Jersey. With some trepidation, Dawn Marie went to the show and managed Tony Atlas in his match against Jimmy Snuka. Following the event, Dawn Marie stopped modeling and began appearing on the independent circuit, managing and learning from wrestlers such as Devon Storm, Buddy Landell, Snuka, Tom Brandi, Steve Corino, and Spanish Angel. She made her professional wrestling debut in January 1995.[3]


[edit] Extreme Championship Wrestling
Dawn Marie spent four years working on the northeastern independent circuit, appearing with promotions such as Maryland Championship Wrestling and the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation. In 1998, she was told by Jeff Jones that Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) employee Buh Buh Ray Dudley was interested in bringing her into the company. At the behest of Dudley, Dawn Marie travelled to the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where ECW promoter Paul Heyman told her that he would book her for several appearances in a storyline with Lance Storm. Dawn Marie debuted in ECW on August 28, 1998 as the manager of Lance Storm, feuding with Chris Candido and his manager, Tammy Lynn Sytch. Heyman was impressed by the chemistry between Dawn Marie and Storm, and offered Dawn Marie a contract, which she accepted.[4]

Storm and Dawn Marie feuded with Candido and Sytch for several months, during which time Dawn Marie was renamed Tammy Lynn Bytch to spite Candido and his manager. She used a similar tactic during a feud between Storm and Tommy Dreamer in early 1999, after the respective feuds ended, Dawn Marie used the ring name Dawn Marie Bytch, which was eventually shortened to simply Dawn Marie. After Storm formed a tag team with Justin Credible known as the Impact Players in the summer of 1999, Dawn Marie managed both men, helping them win the ECW Tag Team Championship on two occasions. Dawn Marie continued to manage Storm until he left ECW for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in May 2000. Dawn Marie was also offered a contract by WCW, but declined to leave ECW in order to remain with her fiancé, ECW wrestler Simon Diamond.[5]

After Storm departed ECW, Dawn Marie became a color commentator on both ECW pay-per-views and the television series ECW on TNN. In August 2000, she began managing Steve Corino; the alliance was short-lived, as Dawn Marie quickly betrayed Corino. On December 3, 2000 at the Massacre on 34th Street pay-per-view, Dawn Marie announced that she would become the manager of the winner of the opening match between Simon Diamond and Swinger and Christian York and Joey Matthews. Although York and Matthews won the bout, Dawn Marie opted to join forces with Simon and Swinger. She managed the duo until ECW declared bankruptcy in April 2001.[citation needed]

Following the bankruptcy of ECW, Dawn Marie returned to the independent circuit, managing Simon and Swinger. The trio made several appearances with the short lived X Wrestling Federation in November 2001. In addition to wrestling, Dawn Marie worked as a stock trader and co-hosted a radio show known as the "Rock and Wrestling Radio Show". During her time on the independent circuit, Dawn Marie trained as a wrestler under Simon Diamond and Mikey Whipwreck.[6]

In April 2002, Dawn Marie began negotiating with World Wrestling Entertainment, eventually agreeing to a deal. She wrestled her first WWE match on April 14, 2002, defeating Kim Neilson at a house show in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She debuted on WWE television on the May 30 episode of SmackDown! as Vince McMahon's legal assistant, Dawn Marie.[7] Dawn briefly had a feud with Stacy Keibler over McMahon's affections until McMahon turned over the General Management position to his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, followed shortly by Keibler's departure for the RAW Brand, after backstabbing McMahon.

In her next angle, Dawn was in a relationship with Torrie's father Al. Torrie and Dawn had sex at a hotel to avoid her marrying him, even though the kissing was just shown, both Torrie and Dawn said it went much farther than kissing. Despite this, Dawn and Al Wilson "married" anyway. As part of the storyline, Al Wilson died during their honeymoon. This led to the First-Ever Stepmother vs. Stepdaughter Match at the 2003 Royal Rumble. Dawn, for the most part, dominated the match due to the fact that Wilson was too distraught over her father's death to really fight back. In the end, Wilson surprised Dawn with a roll-up to win.

On April 15, 2003, in Norfolk, Virginia Dawn Marie along with Rhyno, Rey Mysterio and Sable, visited the USS Vella Gulf, a guided missile cruiser. The WWE superstars expressed their gratitude to the Navy for their efforts during the Iraq War. Dawn Marie also gave an emotional speech to the soldiers about how she knew what it's like for their families at home, since Dawn has a brother in the military. During WWE's tour of Iraq, Dawn spent the night in one of Saddam Hussein's palaces. The palace was gutted and she slept on a cot as did the other WWE Superstars.

Dawn began a short feud with Wilson for the second time over Dawn's jealousy of Torrie's exposure in Playboy and the WWE Divas magazines. The two had a match with Torrie's career on the line thanks to the SmackDown! GM at the time (Kurt Angle) who made that stipulation at Judgment Day 2004. Wilson won the contest with a backslide, in the progress accidentally exposing Marie's thong following a botched school-girl roll-up where Marie's pants ripped.

After being on hiatus from SmackDown! programming, Dawn began a feud with Miss Jackie, bragging that she and Jackie's fiancée Charlie Haas had an affair. This angle lead up to a match between the two at Armageddon 2004, with Haas as the guest referee. Dawn won the match, but afterward, Haas confirmed their affair and broke off both relationships. Months later, she began a short feud with Michelle McCool.

In May 2005, it was reported that Dawn Marie Psaltis was pregnant. In June 2005, she confirmed her pregnancy on WWE's internet talk show, Byte This!. Before she was released by WWE on July 6, 2005, she appeared at One Night Stand 2005. As of May 8, 2007, she is currently involved with a lawsuit again with WWE over her departure from the company due to being pregnant.

On November 5, 2005, a visibly pregnant Dawn Marie appeared at the ECW reunion event Hardcore Homecoming: November Reign, holding the key for the main event steel cage match between Jerry Lynn and P.J. Polaco. The match was won by Polaco after Dawn Marie, Jason and Lance Storm interfered on his behalf.[8]

After giving birth on December 20, 2005, Dawn Marie began training for a return to wrestling. She was briefly scheduled to team with Jackie Gayda to face Traci Brooks and Lollipop in a tag team match on April 26, 2006, but backed out of the match, believing that she would not be in ring-shape in time for the event. In June 2006, Dawn Marie managed Johnny Candido in a match for the National Wrestling Superstars promotion.

10. NORA "MOLLY HOLLY" GREENWALD

Early life
Growing up, Greenwald had no plans to be a wrestler, but she did want to be on American Gladiators for awhile.[2] She trained to be a powerlifter from age 14 to age 18, and at age 14, she broke the Minnesota state powerlifting record (75 pounds) for her age group by lifting 100 pounds.[2][3] She also trained as a gymnast.[4] Later, she began wrestling for fun, not because she "wanted to be on TV."[2] As soon as she graduated Forest Lake Area High School, Nora left home with $200 and a '65 Oldsmobile, which she drove from Minnesota to Florida.[5] Before training as a wrestler, Greenwald was employed at a Subway restaurant and as a telemarketer for Special Data Processing.[2][5] While working at Subway, it was suggested to Nora that she try out for wrestling, and out of curiousity, she did.[5]

Greenwald began training as a wrestler under Dean Malenko in Tampa, Florida in 1997.[1][4] She debuted on August 2, 1997 in the World Professional Wrestling Federation (WPWF) under the ring name Starla Saxton. Greenwald wrestled on the independent circuit throughout 1997 and 1998, winning two championships. On August 21, 1998 she defeated Malia Hosaka to win the New Dimension Wrestling Women's Title, but lost it one day later back to Hosaka.[6]

She appeared with both World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation as a jobber, unsuccessfully challenging Jacqueline for the WWF Women's Championship on an October 1998 episode of WWF Sunday Night HEAT.[3] In late 1999, she briefly feuded with Brandi Alexander while wrestling in the Florida independent circuit.[3]


[edit] World Championship Wrestling (1999-2000)
She debuted in WCW as Miss Madness, one of Randy Savage's valets along with Gorgeous George and Madusa.[1][7] Savage asked her and Madusa to train his then-girlfriend Gorgeous George in real life, highlights of this were shown on WCW TV. This heel group, called Team Madness, would interfere in matches for the benefit of Savage.[2] Behind the scenes, Nora and Madusa trained the other women of WCW at the WCW Power Plant. Eventually, Savage turned on her and she became Mona,[7] a face, who wrestled barefoot in a blue dress. She embarked on mini-feuds with Madusa, Little Jeannie, and Asya.[3] Independent female wrestlers, such as Dee Dee Venturi and Brandi Alexander, were also brought in to wrestle Mona.[7] However, WCW released Greenwald in August 2000 in a cost-cutting move.[2][8]

Upon signing a contract with the World Wrestling Federation, she was sent to their training ground in Memphis Championship Wrestling to work off ring-rust.[3] She became the manager of William Regal and was known as Lady Ophelia. While there, she squared off against The Kat, Bobcat, and Victoria.

In 2000, she reappeared in the World Wrestling Federation under the Lady Ophelia gimmick, wrestling dark matches and valeting for William Regal. However, Greenwald would have her first major run in the company as Molly Holly, where she would join her "cousins" Bob Holly and Crash Holly. At the time, The Holly Cousins were involved in a feud with T & A (Test, Albert, and manager Trish Stratus).[7] Greenwald admits that Stratus was one of her favorite people to work with.[7] Molly's arrival on the November 6, 2000 edition of RAW started a short feud with Stratus, leading to her first televised victory over Stratus in a Six-Person Intergender Tag Team Match at the Survivor Series 2000.In a match between Crash Holly and Dean Malenko Molly distracted the referee by standing on the ring apron, Malenko then kissed Molly forcefully, annoying Molly, who then helped out Crash by debuting her Molly-Go-Round on Malenko and Crash won. In 2001, Molly formed a kayfabe relationship with Spike Dudley, in the midst of the feud between her "cousins" (The Hollys) and Spike's "brothers" (The Dudley Boyz).[1][7] This relationship added more friction to the feud. In interviews in subsequent years, Greenwald recalled the "relationship" with Spike Dudley as the "best time of her career."[5][8]

In September 2001, Molly dumped Spike to become Mighty Molly, the superhero sidekick of The Hurricane.[1] Molly, however, eventually left The Hurricane to become a full-time solo wrestler, taking his Hardcore Championship after whacking him with a frying pan at WrestleMania X8 on March 17, 2002 in Toronto. She promptly lost it to Christian an hour later after getting a door slammed in her face.[9]

After splitting up with The Hurricane in April 2002, she returned to her previous ring name and gimmick, Molly Holly. Upon her return to the newly renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), she drastically changed her look by shortening her trademark blonde hair and darkening it to autumn brown.[1] Greenwald's reasoning behind this was that it fit her new character better.[5] Greenwald adopted a self-righteous prude gimmick, similar to that of the Right to Censor faction, as she was kayfabe appalled by the other WWE Divas continually using their "assets" and degrading themselves. During this gimmick, she would often refer to herself as being "pure and wholesome." This led to a feud with the then-Women's Champion Trish Stratus, which culminated in her winning the championship at King of the Ring 2002 in June.[10][1] During the feud, Jerry Lawler also began to poke fun at Greenwald, which Greenwald later revealed genuinely hurt her feelings.[8][4] However, Greenwald initially did not mind the angle when Stephanie McMahon approached her with the idea.[5] The feud with Stratus continued for several months, and Molly later brought in Victoria as an enforcer to help deal with Trish. She would finally drop the title back to Stratus at Unforgiven 2002 in September 2002.[11]

Greenwald earned her second WWE Women's Championship by defeating Gail Kim on RAW on July 28, 2003.[12] Kim would later turn heel and join Greenwald in her feud with Stratus. During an attack on Stratus, Lita made her return, helping Trish fend off her attackers. Greenwald and Kim then lost a tag team match to Lita and Trish at Unforgiven 2003, sparking a feud with Lita.[13] This led to a match against Lita at Survivor Series 2003 for the Women's title, which Greenwald retained.[14]

Greenwald lost her championship to Victoria in a Fatal 4-Way Match on February 23, 2004.[15] She would feud vehemently with Victoria for the next few months, believing she had been robbed of her title. The feud led to a Hair vs Title match at WrestleMania XX in March 2004, which Greenwald lost when she tried to execute Victoria's Widow's Peak. The move was reversed, resulting in Greenwald having her head shaved.[16][1] Greenwald maintains that it was her idea to have her head shaved, suggesting the idea to Vince McMahon months before the match occurred.[8] Over the next few months, she would desperately try to disguise her bald head using loose-fitting wigs, a gimmick that Kurt Angle had also used two years prior. Later in 2004, she feuded with Stacy Keibler, with Keibler pinning Holly on three consecutive occasions, the last one occurring in a number one contender's match.[1]

Greenwald's final WWE pay-per-view appearance occurred at Taboo Tuesday 2004 as she appeared in the Fulfill Your Fantasy Battle Royal along with many other WWE Divas. The fans voted online for the Divas to wear schoolgirl uniforms, as opposed to French maid or nurse outfits. In contrast to the other girls who wore sexy schoolgirl uniforms with thongs on underneath their skirts, Greenwald decided to go retro with her wardrobe by wearing a demure 1980s-style schoolgirl uniform with large pink panties underneath. Greenwald failed to win the match when Stratus eliminated her by tossing her over the top rope for the win.[17] Greenwald's efforts in subsequent attempts to regain the title failed. Due to several wrestlers from the company's women's division being released in late 2004 and the introduction of the RAW Diva Search program, Greenwald was mostly left off television, only occasionally appearing on Sunday Night Heat and RAW in losing efforts to the likes of Lita, Trish Stratus, and Christy Hemme.

She left WWE and a full-time wrestling career in April 2005.[1] Reportedly, she was beginning to become disenchanted with WWE, who began to focus on looks rather than wrestling ability.[2] She also hated that her character had turned heel, but that is not the direct cause of her leaving the company.[5] However, Greenwald states that all of the aforementioned reasons are incorrect, but she would like to keep the real reason she left WWE private.[18] She decided to take a break from WWE and spend some time with her family and enjoy life.[18] Vince McMahon is leaving the doors open for her to return if she wants to in the future.[5]

Since leaving WWE and the release of her DVD, Greenwald has made several appearances at various independent shows across the country.

On November 20, 2005, Greenwald made her first public appearance since her WWE departure at Northern IMPACT Wrestling's first ever card at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in her hometown of Forest Lake, Minnesota. She signed autographs and sold copies of her DVD and was challenged by the promotion's Undisputed Champion "The Answer" Al B.C. and his manager the "C.E.O.". She turned down the challenge.

On January 8, 2006 in Amery, Wisconsin, Greenwald made her first in-ring appearance in nine months, appearing with Northern IMPACT Wrestling, a local Minnesota/Wisconsin wrestling promotion.[3] In addition to refereeing a match between Rain and Ann-Thraxx (Ann Brookstone), Greenwald counted the pin for the main event match between Team Revolution and Team Invasion.[3] She went on to referee an Impact Zone Wrestling match on February 14, 2006 in Tempe, Arizona and a XJAM Wrestling match on February 16, 2006 in Minot, North Dakota, where she challenged Ann-Thraxx to wrestle her, with Ann-Thraxx refusing.[3]

On April 1, 2006, Greenwald attended the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Chicago, Illinois with her friend, SmackDown! referee Charles Robinson.[3] On April 8, 2006, Greenwald appeared at the German Stampede Wrestling event International Impact III in Olsberg, Germany, commentating on a match along with former Pro Wrestling Illustrated senior editor Bill Apter and refereeing a women's match.[3] In subsequent months, she made (non-wrestling) appearances at several independent wrestling events.[4]

On October 7, 2006, Greenwald returned to in-ring action for the first time since April 2005 by defeating Jonny Fairplay after a quick low blow and pinfall in a WCWA event.[19][3]

Nora returned to several events as guest referee or for autograph signings. She first refereed an intergender match between Kassy Summers and Kaz Hayashi for BAW Championship Wrestling on July 13 in McMinnville, Oregon, then was guest referee in a match between Ann Brookstone (aka Ann-Thraxx) and TNA's Christy Hemme for Heavy on Wrestling in Superior, Wisconsin on July 21.

9. SHELLY "ARIEL" MARTINEZ

Martinez was trained and first wrestled in Southern California under the ring name Desire, appearing in several independent promotions such as Revolution Pro Wrestling, Empire Wrestling Federation[3] and Ultimate Pro Wrestling[4] where she worked as the (kayfabe) sister of Kyra (WWE's Melina). While in UPW, she also competed under the name Halloween Barbie.[5]

In April 2005, Martinez signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). By July of that year she was placed in their primary developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), for further training. Her first role there had her, along with Beth Phoenix, acting as co-manager for Aaron Stevens, but this threesome broke up within the year.

Martinez defeated Mickie James to win her debut singles match at an OVW house show on October 29. From there she engaged in numerous feuds with the likes of Beth Phoenix, Serena, Sosay, and Fuji Cakes. In late December, Martinez and Phoenix revived their "co-manager" gimmick to accompany Aaron Stevens to the ring at several SmackDown! house shows for tryout matches. They also appeared together on the January 27, 2006 episode of WWE Heat as part of The Heart Throbs (Romeo Roselli and Antonio Thomas) "Throb-o-Meter" section, dancing in the ring with the team and teasing a kiss, before being interrupted by Trevor Murdoch.

At the February 22, 2006 OVW TV Tapings, Shelly came to ringside and attacked Sosay during an Elijah Burke vs. Robbie Dawber match. Around this time she started a gimmick of being obsessed with Paul Burchill, who was using a pirate gimmick on SmackDown!. On the May 6, 2006 edition of WWE Velocity, Martinez appeared as Burchill's valet, Shelly, for his match against The Road Warrior, but before she could become a permanent fixture the entire gimmick was dropped.[6] Returning to OVW she became involved in Seth Skyfire's ongoing feud with Mike "The Miz" Mizanin and Roni Jonah.

When the ECW brand was launched Martinez joined on as Ariel, a tarot reading fortune teller. She was joined by Kevin Thorn, a vampire character who had previously been seen stalking ECW arenas, and announced that she "saw a future that held blood" followed by Thorn spitting blood at the camera. From there, she began acting as a valet for Thorn, joining him at ringside for his matches and kissing him during them. On September 19, she got into her first ECW catfight, rumbling with Francine who'd accompanied Balls Mahoney to ringside for a match against Thorn.[7] Ariel made her (ECW) in-ring debut against Francine on September 26 in an "Extreme Catfight", which went to a no-contest due to interference from both Thorn and Mahoney.[8] The building feud was soon dropped when Francine was released from WWE just weeks later.[9] When the ECW brand held its first pay per view, December to Dismember, Ariel and Thorn defeated Kelly Kelly and Mike Knox in a mixed tag team match.[10] The next Tuesday on ECW, Ariel lost to Kelly in a one on one match when Kelly surprised her with a rollup.[11] This would be her final wrestling match. In February 2007, Ariel along with Kevin Thorn joined the New Breed stable and engaged in a feud with their ECW Original foes. On the May 1, 2007 edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, Kevin Thorn & Ariel quit from The New Breed Faction after Elijah Burke yelled at them for losing to CM Punk earlier in the night.

On May 18, 2007 Martinez was released from her WWE contract.[12]

Since her release she has made her return to FCW where she manages Vampiro under the ring name Vampira.

Shelly has also taken numerous modeling gigs with photographers such as Marco Patino and Rene Aguirre. On July 13th, 2007 she was picked as one of the top 13 contestants for the upcoming FOX reality show The Search for the Next Elvira, set to air in October.

She was also seen on the set for the USA t.v. show The Dead Zone though it is unknown if she has a part at all.

Maria was a contestant on the 2004 reality show, Outback Jack.[3] She was shown looking for love and made it to the final three before being sent home.[4]

She competed in the RAW Diva Search 2004, even though she didn't win the contest, she was hired along with a couple other contestants. Maria made appearances at Ohio Valley Wrestling training facility, but wasn't officialy a part of the roster. During her time in OVW, she had a feud with fellow OVW diva Sosay which led to an "Evening Gown" Match on an edition of OVW TV.


WWE Monday Night RAW
Maria was brought on to RAW as a backstage interviewer.[5] She was given a "dumb blonde" / innocent teenager style gimmick (despite being a brunette), playing on mistakes she made in previous weeks. Her first scripted "ditziness" was during an interview of Shawn Michaels when she referred to wrestler Edge as "The Edge." This "dumb" gimmick saw her in many comic skits, most notably during interviews involving WWE Champion John Cena, The Big Show, and Mick Foley. She quickly earned a reputation as the oblivious RAW backstage reporter - Maria seemed to ask the wrong questions, irritating and amusing WWE Superstars and Divas. For example, she asked Chris Masters about his nickname, "The Masterpiece" and erroneously called him "The Masturbate." Despite being in WWE for such a short time, Maria had numerous memorable moments, including interviewing Eugene and William Regal after they had won the World Tag Team Championships from La Résistance, where an overwhelmed Eugene doused Maria in chocolate milk as part of a post-match celebration.

In 2005, Maria began to get very physical - in, and out, of the ring. She competed in her first official match on the January 10, 2005 edition of RAW. She faced off against Christy Hemme in a Lingerie Pillow Fight, but lost after being hit with a pillow by Lilian Garcia and then tripped by Hemme, who followed by pinning Maria with a bridge.[6]

On the October 31 edition of RAW, Maria competed in a Halloween Costume Contest, dressing as an angel. She received a good pop for her contributions to the contest, but it ended as a no-contest when Victoria and Mickie James got into a fight, and Maria helped the other divas get Vince's Devils out of the ring.[7] She also competed in a Fulfill Your Fantasy Diva Battle Royal at Taboo Tuesday 2005 for the WWE Women's Championship but was the first to be eliminated and by Trish Stratus and Mickie James.[8]

On November 14, Maria competed in a non-title Diva Battle Royal at the Eddie Guerrero tribute RAW show. Maria stood by herself for most of the match, only getting involved when she saw the opportunity to eliminate a competitor, a strategy that proved effective as she eliminated both Jillian Hall and Victoria. She amazed fans by being in the bottom three but was eliminated by both Melina and Trish Stratus.[9] On the November 28 edition of RAW, Maria interviewed then-RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff and asked him whether or not he thought he was going to be fired. He then booked her a match with Kurt Angle out of spite. Maria was laid out with the Angle Slam, but John Cena came down for the save.[10] On the December 5 edition of RAW, Maria testified in the trial against Eric Bischoff as General Manager. She first asked Mick Foley to question her with Mr. Socko, before answering, unusually intelligently, "Last week Bischoff abused his power in a way that was both malicious and capricious, and it’s this rash discourse that has led to a locker room of disdain and mutiny, and it should be grounds for his immediate dismissal."[11][12]

On the December 2005 Tribute to the Troops, the RAW Superstars visited Afghanistan to perform for American soldiers. Maria and Candice Michelle defeated Ashley Massaro and Trish Stratus in a Santa's Helper Diva Tag Team Match.[13]


2006-2007
On the January 2, 2006 edition of RAW, Maria was placed in a match with Victoria; after Victoria missed a splash in the corner, Maria rolled her up for the upset victory. Afterwards, she was attacked by Vince's Devils, but she was saved by Ashley Massaro, who fought them off until they got the upperhand. During the commercial break that night, Vince McMahon announced a Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match for New Year's Revolution 2006 between all five girls that had previously been in the ring.[14] At New Year's Revolution Maria was the first to enter the Gauntlet match and eliminated Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson before being eliminated by Victoria. The match was ultimately won by Ashley Massaro.[15]

On the February 6 edition of RAW, Maria teamed with John Cena (who earlier that evening kissed her to calm her nerves) to take on Edge and Lita in the main event. Maria ended up getting beat down by Lita, but scored the victory after a Spear meant for Cena hit Lita.[16] On the February 20 edition of RAW, Maria competed in a #1 Contenders Battle Royal Match for the WWE Women's Championship. Maria, along with Ashley, eliminated Victoria, but she was eventually eliminated by the more experienced Mickie James.[17] On March 6, Maria lost a singles match to Lita after missing a clothesline and falling prey to Lita's DDT. After the match, Edge was preparing to spear Maria, but Mick Foley ran in to make the save.[18]

During this time, Maria also began hosting the Kiss Cam segment on WWE.com Unlimited.

Maria would get her first chance at the Women's Championship in singles action on the April 10, 2006 edition of RAW, being the first person to challenge the newly crowned Mickie James, but Maria was defeated with little effort.[19] Maria competed in the first ever Extreme Strip Poker segment on ECW on Sci-Fi on October 10 representing RAW. During the competition, she had a fight with Candice Michelle, who claimed she was cheating, and they both stripped each other.[20] On October 16, Maria competed in and won a Fatal Four Way Bra and Panties match against Victoria, Candice Michelle, and Torrie Wilson to advance to the semi-finals in the Women's Championship Tournament.[21] However, on the October 30 edition of RAW, Maria lost in the semi-finals of the Tournament against Lita.[22]

On the January 1, 2007 edition of RAW, Maria attempted to interview Kevin Federline, but was instead slapped by Melina and called a "bitch." This led to a match between the two later that night, with Melina winning with a roll up following a failed attempt at a dropkick. On WWE Monday Night RAW Maria was forced to wrestle Umaga from orders of Jonathan Coachman.

At New Year's Revolution 2007 Maria and Candice Michelle went down to the ring during the Women's Championship match between Victoria and Mickie James to stop Melina from interfering.[23] For two consecutive weeks afterwards, Maria would have two tag team partners - Mickie James and Jeff Hardy, respectively - to take on Melina and a partner. She lost one tag match,[24] but won the other with Jeff.[25] In June 2007 Maria began an on-screen romance with Santino Marella, appearing in segments together as a couple.

Career
Born to a Puerto Rican father and a Turkish mother, Lisa Marie Varon grew up with three older brothers, all of whom became amateur wrestlers.[1] After studying Bio-Med at UCLA and Loma Linda University[2] with thoughts of becoming a doctor, Varon worked as a Human Tissue Coordinator at the Inland Eye and Tissue Bank in Redlands, California, where she was heavily involved in the process of organ donation. She has stated that she would someday like to return to the field of organ donation.

Varon later began pursuing a career in bodybuilding, fitness competition, modeling, and acting. She appeared on ESPN's Fitness America Series in 1997 and 1998, winning on the latter occasion. At one point, Varon qualified for national competition.[1] She also had roles in V.I.P. and Nikki in May and October 2000 respectively. While in South Florida for the 1998 Miss Galaxy Competition, Varon met and befriended fellow fitness contestant Torrie Wilson.[1] The two worked together on the Extreme Fitness Team.[1] The following year, Wilson signed a contract with the professional wrestling promotion World Championship Wrestling and invited Varon to a WCW television taping.[1]

While visiting Wilson backstage at a WCW show, a road agent asked Varon to appear in a segment with Scott Hall.[1] Varon filmed the segment, which featured her sitting on Hall's lap and playing with his hair, and began considering pursuing a career in wrestling.[1] After Wilson tried, unsuccessfully, to obtain a WCW contract for Varon, she returned to California in an attempt to secure work in the television industry.[1]

While working for Crunch Fitness as a trainer in Los Angeles, California in 2000, Varon met World Wrestling Federation (WWF) employee Chyna, who complemented her on her appearance and encouraged her to become a wrestler.[1] Chyna introduced Varon to WWF officials Jim Ross and Kevin Kelly, and she was hired.[1] Varon was assigned to Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW), a Southern Californian developmental territory and training camp for the WWF.[1] While training in UPW, Varon was given the gimmick of a domineering cheerleader known as the H.B.I.C. (Head Bitch In Charge).

Like several other divas, Varon made her on-screen debut in the WWF as one of Godfather's "hoes" Victoria.[1] After the Godfather lost a match to Bull Buchanan on July 19, 2000, he was indoctrinated by the conservative Right to Censor faction. Victoria, billed as the "head ho," began a "save the hoes" campaign, protesting with placards during R.T.C. matches. R.T.C. eventually responded, with leader Steven Richards ordering the Godfather, now known as the "Goodfather," to drive Victoria through a table on the August 7, 2000 episode of RAW.[1] On the October 9, 2000 episode of RAW, Victoria made her last appearance on WWf as a "hoe" when GTV footage of Victoria and another hoe Mandy cavorting in a shower with Eddie Guerrero was responsible for the on-screen breakup of Guerrero and his fiancée Chyna.

Varon, by now contracted as a wrestler, was sent to Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW) in Memphis, Tennessee, another WWF developmental territory.[1] In MCW, she acted as a commissioner for the time, and managed Steve Bradley,[1] and feuded with Stacy Carter and R.T.C. member Ivory. In 2001, with MCW closing, she was transferred to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in Louisville, Kentucky, where she was trained by Molly Holly who taught her Widow's Peak finisher. Using the name Queen Victoria (named after the British monarch of the same name), Varon managed the "Machine" Doug Basham and Damaja, later known collectively as the Basham Brothers.

After spending a considerable amount of time training in MCW and OVW, Varon returned to the renamed World Wrestling Entertainment on the July 7, 2002 episode of Sunday Night HEAT, losing to Trish Stratus.[3] She was formally reintroduced on the August 5, 2002 episode of RAW as Victoria, the heel trainee of Molly Holly.[4] Her character was quickly established as that of a psychopath who was jealous of Stratus' success and wanted to make her life a living hell.[5]

In the culmination of the feud lasting four months, Victoria defeated Stratus for the WWE Women's Championship in a Hardcore match at Survivor Series 2002.[6][1] The following night on RAW, she defeated Stacy Keibler and debuted her finisher the "Widow's Peak." After the match, Steven Richards foiled an attempt at retribution by Stratus, beginning a pairing with Victoria that would last for over a year.[7]

Victoria's feud with Stratus continued for several more months, encompassing a street fight on the January 27, 2003 episode of RAW, which was won by Victoria.[8] Victoria's reign lasted until WrestleMania XIX when she lost to Stratus in a triple threat match that also included Jazz.[9] Following the loss, it was speculated that she had dropped the title in order to allow for her to have surgery on her right knee, which she had injured some time earlier. However, instead of having surgery, Victoria opted to wear a knee brace during matches, a practice she continues to this day. In November, Victoria defeated Lita in the first ever female versus female Steel Cage Match on RAW, with help from Matt Hardy.[10]

For the remainder of 2003, Victoria continued to compete in the women's division, in addition to accompanying the by now self-proclaimed "General Manager of HEAT" Stevie Richards wherever he went. As time progressed, she began to receive face reactions, prompting the WWE creative team to turn her into a face by the end of the year. With the WWE creative team unconvinced that Victoria's gimmick would befit a face wrestler, Victoria began to exhibit certain characteristics of a "good girl," such as having a more revealing wardrobe, allowing young boys to kiss her while she approached the ring, and dancing at the top of the ramp to techno music remix of her new theme "Don't Mess With". The drastic character change was criticized by a number of fans who complained that it lacked an explanation and deprived Victoria of a unique gimmick.

Victoria's face run began on WWE Sunday Night HEAT after winning a #1 contenders match against Ivory with Molly Holly hitting her over the head with the belt. The next night in a Happy Holidays six woman tag match after her team lost she hit Molly Holly in the face with the belt receiving applause from the fans. Finally on the February 23, 2004 episode of RAW, Victoria won a four-way elimination match to capture the Women's Championship for a second time.[11] Her feud with Holly reached its zenith at WrestleMania XX on March 14, 2004 in a Hair vs Title match. Victoria pinned Holly, who subsequently had her head shaved bald as a result of the stipulation of the match.[12] Victoria would go on to feud with Gail Kim[13] before losing the title on June 13, 2004 at Bad Blood 2004 to a heel Trish Stratus in a four-way match that also included Gail Kim and Lita.[14]

After losing the title, Victoria renewed her feud with Stratus, and the pair had several matches where Stratus' henchman Tyson Tomko interfered only to be stopped by a man dressed as a woman.[15] This man was later revealed as Stevie Richards, who had left Victoria without any on-air explanation when she became face. However, Stratus suffered a broken hand at a house show that would derail the feud for several weeks. Their feud resumed after SummerSlam 2004, but by this point WWE was more concerned with building up a feud between Trish Stratus and Lita. Their second feud culminated on September 12, 2004 at Unforgiven 2004, where Stratus retained her title with the help of Tomko.[16] Following the end of the feud, Victoria continued to compete in the women's division, albeit with her on-air time greatly reduced. The releases of Gail Kim, Nidia, and Jazz left little competition in the division for Victoria.

On the May 30, 2005 episode of RAW, Victoria reverted back to a heel by attacking Maria, Candice Michelle, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Christy Hemme following a loss to Hemme in a Bikini contest and citing jealousy at the opportunities that Hemme had received.[17] Her actions were met with applause by the audience, which was interpreted by some as annoyance on the part of the crowd at the influx of female performers with limited wrestling experience. This resulted in a six person tag team match in which Hemme's team was disqualified after Hemme refused to stop choking Victoria.[18] In the following weeks, Victoria broke a glass jar over Hemme's head during a backstage interview[19] and would go on to defeat Hemme at Vengeance 2005 on June 26, where she once again enjoyed the support of the live audience.[20] During this time, she also had a brief rivalry with Stacy Keibler, which led to a match on an international edition of WWE Heat, which Victoria won.[21]

Victoria was eventually introduced as the enforcer of Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle on RAW, and the trio eventually became known as "Vince's Devils," a play of the Charlie's Angels TV show and movies. She helped them attack Diva Search 2005 winner Ashley Massaro.[22] She would stay with the stable while they feuded with Trish Stratus, Ashley Massaro, Mickie James, and Maria.[23]

During her time in Vince's Devils, Victoria wrestled male competitor Carlito in a Beat the Clock match on the December 26 edition of RAW, where she was the only female competitor. Despite interference from all the members of Vince's Devils, including Torrie Wilson's dog Chloe, Victoria would lose the match in two minutes and thirty-six seconds after suffering Carlito's then-newly introduced modified swinging inverted neckbreaker finisher. Carlito spat an apple in Victoria's face after the match.[24]

The next week Victoria, angered by her loss to Carlito, led Vince's Devils to the ring and interrupted Maria's Kiss Cam segment. They attacked and stripped Maria until Ashley Massaro made the save; which was thwarted by the three women.[25] Later in the night, it was announced that the five women would compete at New Year's Revolution in a Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match. During the match, Maria eliminated both Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle, but was instantly eliminated by Victoria. After eliminating Maria, The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young came down to the ring and stripped Victoria's shirt off, giving Ashley the easy win.[26]

Vince's Devils would appear regularly on WWE TV until Candice, with Victoria by her side, turned on Wilson a few weeks before WrestleMania 22.[27] Following the implosion of Vince's Devils, Victoria would remain active in the Women's Division and make sporadic appearances on RAW, as well as try-out matches with independent women's wrestlers on HEAT: Talia Madison,[28] Cheerleader Melissa,[29] and Mercedes Martinez.[30]

On the June 5, 2006 episode of RAW, Victoria fractured the jaw of the newly debuted Beth Phoenix after giving her an open palm slap while Phoenix's mouth was open. Phoenix would go on to win the match, but would be out of action for several months.[31]

Victoria competed in the tournament to crown the new WWE Women's Champion after Trish had vacated the title at Unforgiven 2006.[32] She was eliminated from the tournament by Mickie James who advanced in the tournament.[33] At Cyber Sunday, Victoria grabbed Mickie James' leg as she ran against the ropes, distracting her and allowing Lita to deliver a DDT and win the finals of the WWE Women's Championship tournament.[34]

On the November 27, 2006 episode of RAW, Victoria dominated Melina, Torrie Wilson, Maria, and Candice Michelle in a #1 contenders battle royal for the WWE Women's Championship (eliminating all the divas). She injured Candice Michelle's nose in the process with a kick to the face, before hitting Candice with her signature Widow's Peak.[35] The next week, Victoria had a checklist with the RAW Divas names on it, checking off divas after she defeated them in matches, week after week.[36][37][38] She also attacked Lilian Garcia, who was not originally on the list; Lillian and Melina were the only RAW Divas not on the list.[39]


Victoria nails Torrie Wilson with a Widow's Peak on the July 20, 2007 episode of WWE Smackdown!Victoria earned a championship match at New Year's Revolution 2007, where she lost to Mickie James.[40] Just before this match, Victoria formed an alliance with Melina, with whom she occasionally teamed up with for tag team matches.[41] She even assisted Melina in her backstage brawl with Mickie during the first ever Women's Falls Count Anywhere Match on RAW. For several weeks, Victoria and Melina lost both singles and tag team matches to Candice Michelle and Mickie James.[42][43] Victoria was drafted from RAW to SmackDown! on June 17, 2007 as part of the 2007 Supplemental Draft.

6. AMY "LITA" DUMAS, 381 POINTS

Early career
Dumas attended many different schools throughout her childhood and adolescent years, and managed to finish high school six months prior to graduation.[2] She also studied Spanish for three years. She attended college at Georgia State University, where she majored in education.[2]

As an early adult, she practiced judo competitively. Dumas played bass guitar in a band called 3 Card Trick and was a roadie for another band, Fifteen, for five years before becoming a wrestler. Dumas first became interested in wrestling after watching Mexican luchador Rey Mysterio, Jr. wrestle on an episode of World Championship Wrestling's WCW Monday Nitro.[3] She traveled to Mexico to learn how to wrestle and learn more about the sport. In Mexico, she encountered a huge assortment of wrestlers such as Yoshihiro Tajiri, Val Venis, Essa Rios, Super Crazy, and Chris Jericho. Dumas financed her training by dancing in a club under the pseudonym Misty.[4] During her stay in Mexico, Dumas trained under numerous wrestlers, including Kevin Quinn, Miguel Perez and Ricky Santana. Following the completion of her training, Dumas made several appearances with the Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre, and spent ten days working for a promotion in Peru.

Upon returning to the United States, Dumas began working as a valet on the independent circuit in such promotions as MCW under the ring name Angelica, at one point managing Christopher Daniels. In the spring of 1999, she was approached by Paul Heyman, the owner and booker of Extreme Championship Wrestling, then the third largest promotion in the United States. Dumas debuted in ECW as Miss Congeniality, the on-screen girlfriend of Danny Doring.[5] Dumas later began using the name Angelica once again, and made her pay-per-view debut on July 18, 1999 at Heat Wave 1999 where Doring "proposed" to her.[5]

Dumas was introduced to veteran wrestler Dory Funk, Jr. by ECW wrestler Rob Van Dam, and Funk invited her to attend his wrestling school, the Funkin' Conservatory.[5] Dumas attended the school alongside 23 men, requesting that Funk treat her no differently from any other trainee. She graduated from the school in August 1999 and returned to ECW.[5] In the meanwhile, Funk and his wife compiled video footage of Dumas and sent it to the World Wrestling Federation. The Federation was sufficiently impressed, and on November 1, 1999, Dumas was signed to a WWF developmental deal. She made her final appearance with ECW on October 23, 1999.[6]

After honing her skills at the Memphis Championship Wrestling developmental territory, Dumas was given the ring name Lita and paired with luchador Essa Rios.[5] Lita and Rios made their WWF debut on the February 13, 2000 episode of Sunday Night HEAT, with Rios defeating Gillberg to win the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Lita assisted Rios in his matches by interfering on his behalf, often mimicking his moves, notably the Moonsault and Hurricanrana, immediately after he had performed them on an opponent. The duo engaged in a brief feud with Eddie Guerrero and Chyna that saw Lita strip Chyna of the dress she wore to Guerrero's prom.[7] Tension arose between Rios and Lita in May 2000 after Lita found Rios cavorting with The Godfather and his hoes. Rios eventually turned on her after she inadvertently cost him a match, powerbombing her. Lita was saved from a beating at the hands of Rios by the Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff) and the trio formed a stable known as Team Xtreme. As a member of Team Xtreme, Lita developed a more "alternative" image, wearing baggy pants with a tight thong which was hiked up high above her pants, clearly exposed. During her time with Team Xtreme, Lita became the only female to ever be physically involved in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match in the WWE.[8]

In June 2000, Team Xtreme began a feud with T & A (Test & Albert), with Lita engaging in a rivalry with the manager of T & A, Trish Stratus.[5][1] This would be the start of the long feud between Stratus and Lita until Stratus retired in 2006. The feud ended shortly after Fully Loaded 2000, where Lita pinned Stratus in a six person intergender tag team match.[5] Immediately following her feud with Stratus, Lita began feuding with WWF Women's Champion Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. In the main event of the August 21, 2000 episode of RAW is WAR, Lita defeated Stephanie with a moonsault to win the Women's Championship for the first time.[5][9] (Lita is the only woman to win the WWE Women's Championship in the main event on RAW, defeating Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon on two separate occasions). The match also featured The Rock as the Special Guest Referee, and constant interference from Triple H and Kurt Angle.[9]

Lita held the Women's Championship for 73 days,[9] defeating challengers such as Ivory, Jacqueline and Trish Stratus. On the October 9, 2000 episode of RAW is WAR, Lita retained her title in a hardcore match with Jacqueline. In the course of her reign, Lita became embroiled in the feud between the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. In retaliation for her frequent interference in their matches, Edge and Christian cost Lita the Women's Championship, helping Ivory defeat her in a four way match on the November 2, 2000 episode of SmackDown!.[10] Ivory at that time was in a group named Right to Censor, which targeted Lita for her attire and moves. Lita attempted to regain the title on several occasions, wrestling Ivory at Survivor Series 2000 and Rebellion 2000, but was thwarted on each occasion by Steven Richards, the mentor of Ivory. She spent the remainder of the year in a feud with would-be suitor Dean Malenko, on one occasion unsuccessfully challenging him for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.

Lita continued to feud with Dean Malenko in early 2001, and on the February 19, 2001 episode of RAW is WAR, she defeated him in a singles bout with the assistance of Matt Hardy. Following the match, Hardy kissed Lita, beginning their on-screen relationship. The couple wrestled in several intergender tag team matches throughout the early part of the year.

Following a brief feud between Team Xtreme and The Two-Man Power Trip (Triple H & Steve Austin) in April 2001, Lita began pursuing the WWF Women's Championship once again. She challenged Women's Champion Chyna at Judgment Day 2001 on May 20, 2001, but was defeated (this was significant because it was Chyna's last WWF match). In the same month, Eddie Guerrero began teaming with the Hardy Boyz. A storyline involving Guerrero and Lita was cut short in June 2001 when Guerrero was sent to drug rehabilitation, and Chyna, who was also supposed to be involved in the storyline, was also released.

In July 2001, Lita and Trish Stratus joined forces to combat Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson, members of the Alliance of Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling wrestlers who were invading the WWF.[1] At Invasion on July 22, Lita and Stratus defeated Keibler and Wilson in the first ever tag team bra and panties match.[1] Throughout the "Invasion", Lita, Stratus, and Jacqueline feuded with Alliance members Keibler, Wilson, Ivory, and Mighty Molly. The Invasion storyline ended on November 18 at Survivor Series 2001, where Lita took part in a six pack challenge for the WWF Women's Championship, which had been vacated by Chyna earlier that year. The match was won by Stratus.

In late 2001, the Hardy Boyz began feuding with one another. Lita refereed a match between them at Vengeance 2001 on December 9, that was won by Jeff, with Lita failing to notice that Matt had placed his leg on the rope during Jeff's successful pin attempt. On the following episode of RAW, Matt defeated Lita and Jeff in a handicap match, shortly after informing Lita that both their relationship and the Hardy Boyz were finished.

Lita began accompanying Jeff Hardy to the ring for his matches, with the two implicitly involved in a deeper friendship. On the December 17 episode of RAW, both Jeff and Lita were sidelined with (kayfabe) injuries following a violent title match between Jeff and WWF Hardcore Champion The Undertaker.[1] The injuring of both his brother and ex-girlfriend led to a reconciliation between the members of Team Xtreme, and on the December 20 episode of SmackDown!, Matt Hardy faced The Undertaker, but was also injured. All three members of Team Xtreme were removed from WWF television for several weeks, with journalist Dave Meltzer attributing the removal to a lack of storylines for the trio. Head of Talent Relations Jim Ross stated in an interview that the removal of Team Xtreme from television was to enable them to "recharge their batteries."[7]

The Hardy Boyz competed in the 2002 Royal Rumble, and, along with Lita, returned to WWF television in February 2002.[1] Lita resumed her pursuit of the WWF Women's Championship in March 2002 and made her in-ring WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania X8 on March 17, facing Stratus and WWF Women's Champion Jazz, which Jazz retained by pinning Lita.

On April 6, 2002, Lita suffered what appeared to be a stinger while filming a fight scene for a role in the season finale of the television program Dark Angel.[1][11] After she underwent a CAT scan, it was revealed that Lita had suffered three cracks in her C5 and C6 vertebrae, necessitating surgery. She was not aware of the gravity of her injury and even flew to see the official leading surgeon, Dr. Lloyd Youngblood. On April 30, Lita underwent neck surgery under Dr. Lloyd Youngblood in San Antonio, Texas, with a section of her hip used to fuse her C5 and C6 vertebrae together. Thus, she became the first Diva to undergo neck fusion surgery.[11] Lita spent the subsequent year rehabilitating, making appearances on Sunday Night HEAT as a color commentator from October 2002.[11][1][12][13]

Lita appeared on the April 21, 2003 episode of RAW, where she was ostensibly fired from her position as Sunday Night HEAT color commentator by General Manager Eric Bischoff after she rejected his advances and his request that she follow in the footsteps of SmackDown! Diva, Torrie Wilson and pose for Playboy.[11] She returned to the ring after an absence of seventeen months on the September 15 episode of RAW, saving Trish Stratus from a beating at the hands of Molly Holly and Gail Kim.[1] Co-General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin later explained to Eric Bischoff that he had rehired Lita. Lita and Stratus went on to defeat Holly and Kim in a tag team match on September 21, 2003 at Unforgiven. Lita feuded with Holly into late 2003, unsuccessfully challenging her for the Women's Championship on November 16 at Survivor Series.

On the November 17, 2003 episode of RAW, Lita and Matt Hardy were reunited after Hardy was moved from SmackDown! to RAW. After Hardy appeared to be about to propose to Lita, Holly interrupted, challenging Lita and Hardy to face her and Bischoff in an intergender tag team match later that evening (with Bischoff later stipulating that Lita would earn a title shot if she won, but would be fired if she lost). Hardy and Lita lost the match after Hardy refused to tag in, with Hardy berating Lita for "selfishly" returning to RAW instead of SmackDown!, claiming that this showed that she cared more about the Women's Championship than about him. Lita was rehired later that evening when Christian informed her that he had persuaded Bischoff to reinstate her. One week later, Lita lost to Victoria in the first ever female versus female Steel cage match in WWE history, with help from Matt Hardy.[14]

As Lita and Christian appeared to be developing a relationship, so did Stratus and Chris Jericho. However, on the December 1, 2003 episode of RAW, it was revealed that Christian and Jericho had bet one another "one Canadian dollar" as to who could seduce Lita and Stratus respectively first. The revelation led to a feud between Lita and Stratus and Christian and Jericho, with the males triumphing in "Battle of the Sexes" matches at Armageddon. There was also a rematch the following night on the December 14, 2003 episode of RAW, however Chris Jericho stopped the match halfway through, due to Trish Stratus injuring her knee.

Lita competed in the Women's division throughout early 2004, winning a battle royal to become the number one contender for the Women's Championship on the April 5, 2004 episode of RAW. Victoria defeated Lita to retain the Women's Championship at Backlash on April 18. Lita was reunited with Matt Hardy on the April 19, 2004 episode of RAW when Hardy attacked Kane in an attempt to prevent him from harming Lita. In the following weeks, Kane began repeatedly assaulting Hardy and attempting to seduce Lita. Once, he even kidnapped her and held her tied up backstage where he supposedly asked her a 'question'. He even persuaded Eric Bischoff to give her a title shot at Bad Blood on June 13. On the June 14, 2004 episode of RAW, Lita revealed that she was pregnant.[1] One week later, it once again appeared that Hardy would propose to Lita. However, the proposal was interrupted by Kane, who claimed that he, not Hardy, was the father of Lita's child, as Lita had slept with Kane to persuade him to stop attacking Hardy. Two months later, it was revealed that Kane was in fact the father. Hardy and Kane feuded for several months, culminating in a "Till Death do Us Part" match on August 15 at SummerSlam, with the stipulation that Lita would be obliged to marry Kane should Hardy lose. Kane won the match, leading to he and a reluctant Lita marrying one another on the August 23, 2004 episode of RAW. Despite being married to Kane, Lita harried him during his matches, constantly aiding his opponents. On the September 13 episode of RAW, Lita miscarried after Gene Snitsky struck Kane with a chair, resulting in him falling on Lita. The miscarriage led to Lita and Kane joining forces in order to take revenge upon Snitsky. With the pregnancy angle over, Lita returned to the women's division in November 2004. She began a feud with Trish Stratus after Stratus called Lita "chubby" over her pregnancy weight gain. At Survivor Series Lita challenged Stratus to a Women's Championship match and Lita got DQ'd after attacking Stratus. The feud continued and on December 6, 2004, Lita defeated Stratus in the main event to win the Women's Championship.

Lita's second reign as Women's Champion ended on January 9, 2005 at New Year's Revolution, where she was defeated by Trish Stratus. In the course of the match, Lita suffered a legitimate injury, tearing her left ACL after executing a Lou Thesz Press off the ring apron. She underwent surgery with Dr. James Andrews on January 20.[7]


Edge and Lita in July 2005.Lita returned to WWE television in March 2005, mentoring Christy Hemme in preparation for her title match with Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 21. Despite Lita's coaching, Hemme was defeated by Stratus. Lita continued to feud with Stratus by proxy over the following weeks, with Kane defeating Stratus' champion, Viscera, at Backlash on May 1. The relationship between Lita and Kane lasted until the May 16 episode of RAW, when Lita turned heel by betraying Kane, helping Edge defeat him in the finals of the WWE RAW Gold Rush Tournament. This was her first official heel turn in her entire five year run with the promotion. On the May 30 episode of RAW, Lita announced that she had filed for divorce, flushing her wedding ring down a toilet. She attempted to marry Edge on the June 20, 2005 episode of RAW, but the marriage ceremony was interrupted by a vengeful Kane, who emerged from beneath the ring.

In mid 2005 it was a backstage skit with Lita, Edge and Snitsky that first brought out Snitsky's foot fetish. In one of RAW's most bizarre 3 minute segments, Lita showed off her feet to Snitsky's delight.

Lita continued to act as Edge's valet as he went on to defeat Matt Hardy at SummerSlam (WWE had recently acknowledged the real-life issues between Edge, Lita, and Hardy). On the October 3, 2005 episode of RAW, Edge, with the assistance of Lita, defeated Hardy in a ladder match, and Hardy was obliged to leave RAW as a stipulation of the match.

After Edge defeated John Cena to win the WWE Championship on January 8 at New Year's Revolution, he announced that he and Lita would celebrate by having sex in the middle of the ring on the January 9 episode of RAW. The event saw Lita and Edge strip to their underwear before retreating beneath the covers of a bed that had been erected in the ring. The event was interrupted by Ric Flair, leading to Edge leaving the bed to fight him. Lita, left alone, hastily redressed as John Cena entered the ring and attacked her, delivered an FU to her. Lita's bare breast was momentarily shown during the segment; while this was shown uncensored in the UK, it was censored in the US. This "Live Sex Celebration" segment earned RAW a 5.2 rating and earned RAW its highest ratings in over a year.[15][16]

Lita returned to the ring in a tag team bout on January 20, 2006 at a house show, teaming with Victoria against Trish Stratus and Mickie James. She made her televised in-ring return on the February 6 episode of RAW, teaming with Edge in a loss to Cena and Maria. She continued to manage Edge into mid-2006, frequently interfering on his behalf during his feud with Mick Foley. In May 2006, Foley joined forces with Edge and Lita, with the trio defeating Foley's ECW rivals Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, and Beulah McGillicutty in an impromptu six person tag team match at One Night Stand. Edge won the match after Spearing Beulah, but Lita came off worse, after being on the receiving end of Tommy's Spiccoli Driver.

On the August 14, 2006 episode of RAW, she defeated Mickie James to win her third Women's Championship by hitting James with the belt. She also defeated James in their rematch on the August 28 episode of RAW, this time using the ropes for extra leverage after she countered a Mick-A-Rana into a pin.

Lita and Edge went on to feud with Trish Stratus and Carlito, culminating in a bout between Lita and Stratus at Unforgiven, in which Stratus defeated Lita to win the Women's Championship in what was Stratus's last WWE match. Lita used her signature Moonsault for the first time as a heel in that match. The match also marked the second time Lita was defeated by submission when Trish put her in the Sharpshooter. The only other female in WWE history to do this was Jazz, with her signature STF.

On the September 25, 2006 episode of RAW, Lita defeated Candice Michelle for a place in the semi-finals of the Women's Championship Tournament when Edge, the Special Guest Referee, speared Candice. Lita defeated Maria for a place in the finals on the October 30 episode of RAW with a Snap DDT. On November 5, at Cyber Sunday, Lita defeated Mickie James with a snap DDT to capture the vacant title, and begin her 4th reign as WWE Women's Champion. On the November 6 edition of RAW, Lita defeated Mickie James, once again to retain the Women's Championship with ease, when Eric Bischoff (the one day General Manager) ordered James to have one arm tied behind her back. On the November 20 edition of RAW, after defeating Mickie James in a non-title match, Lita announced that she would be retiring from the WWE after her match with James at Survivor Series.

At Survivor Series, on November 26, 2006, Lita was pinned by James, losing the Women's Championship, in her final match in WWE.[1]

The day after her retirement, Lita stated, on WWE.com, that her plans to retire began around mid-2005, when the feud between Edge and Matt Hardy was at its height. Because of her involvement in the feud, the harassment she received from some fans was so strong that she felt as if "even when [she] was walking the dog there was going to be someone yelling 'You screwed Matt!' out the window". Eventually, she became so fed up with the mistreatment she was receiving from these fans (most notably those loyal to Matt Hardy), she decided that the only way to avoid such harassment was to retire altogether. She states her plans to further her involvement with her band, The Luchagors, and to act in theatre productions.[17] She does still occasionally wrestle, however, and makes sporadic appearances in various indy promotions such as UWF.

In July 15, 2007, Dumas appeared with her band at mexican promotion AAA's biggest event TripleMania , in its 15th edition. She performed with her band in the event.

Modeling career
Hemme attended Mount San Jacinto College, where she majored in dance. After graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles, California in order to pursue a career in modeling. Hemme initially joined a burlesque dance team known as "The Purrfect Angelz", who performed at Easyrider tours and Harley motorcycle rallies. She went on appear in magazines such as Maxim, Playboy, Rolling Stone and Stuff. In addition, she appeared in the music video of the Trace Adkins song "Chrome", and in videos for bands Blink-182 and Sonic. In past years, her image has also been found on Bench Warmer trading cards as Christy "Sunny" Hemme. Her modelling career led to her joining the cast of Comedy Central's The Man Show as a member of the "Juggy Dance Squad" in 2003. Hemme remained with the series for a year, during which she hosted "The Commies", a comedy-themed award ceremony produced by Comedy Central, on December 7, 2003.

Hemme took part in the 2004 Lingerie Bowl, and competed as a quarterback for the Chicago Bliss Lingerie Football League team in a 2006 Lingerie Bowl playoff game on January 28, 2006.

In the summer of 2004, Hemme participated in the Diva Search, a competition held by World Wrestling Entertainment in order to recruit new Divas. In the course of the competition, Hemme and the five other finalists faced seven existing WWE Divas in a game of dodgeball at SummerSlam 2004 on August 15, 2004, eliminating all eight Divas with the loss of just one finalist, Joy Giovanni. Hemme was announced as the winner of the competition on September 20, with her prize being a one year contract with WWE with remuneration of US$250,000.

Hemme began her WWE career as a member of the RAW roster, using the song "Walk Idiot Walk" by The Hives as her entrance music. She quickly began a feud with Carmella DeCesare, the runner-up of the Diva Search. The feud culminated in a "lingerie pillow fight" at Taboo Tuesday 2004 on October 19, 2004, with Hemme defeating her opponent by knock-out. Hemme was undefeated in the Lingerie Pillow Fight during her WWE tenure.


Christy Hemme's Playboy magazine cover from the April 2005 issueFollowing her feud with DeCesare, Hemme began a rivalry with WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus, with Stratus ostensibly scornful of Hemme's appearance in the April 2005 issue of Playboy. Hemme eventually challenged Stratus to a match at WrestleMania 21, with Stratus's nemesis Lita training her in the weeks preceding the event. At WrestleMania 21 on April 3, 2005, Stratus defeated Hemme to retain her title. In the months after WrestleMania, Hemme began another feud with Victoria, who claimed to be jealous of the opportunities afforded to Hemme. The feud culminated in a bout at Vengeance 2005 on June 26, which Victoria won by cheating.

With her feud with Victoria over, Hemme briefly aligned herself with Eugene before she and Stacy Keibler were traded to SmackDown! in exchange for Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson on August 25, 2005, with their first match being a WWE.com exclusive lingerie pillow fight with one another.

Hemme went on to feud with Melina, the leader of the MNM faction, in the process joining forces with the Legion of Doom. At No Mercy 2005 on October 9, 2005, Hemme and the Legion of Doom defeated MNM in a six-person intergender tag team match, with Hemme executing the signature finishing maneuver of the Legion of Doom, the "Doomsday Device", on Melina. Her feud with Melina continued into November, with Melina defeating Hemme in two televised singles bouts.

On November 30, 2005, Hemme debuted in Ohio Valley Wrestling, a WWE developmental territory, aligning herself with Matt Cappotelli in opposition to Aaron Stevens, Beth Phoenix and Shelly Martinez. While in OVW, she used the song "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard as her entrance music. On December 5, 2005, Hemme announced on her website that she would be training full-time in OVW. She was released by WWE one day later, however, with the company citing the creative team having nothing for her as the reason for her dismissal.

Hemme debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on April 23, 2006 at Lockdown 2006, giving an envelope to commentator Mike Tenay containing the announcement that Larry Zbyszko had been placed on probation and Raven (whom Zbyszko had fired earlier that year in kayfabe) had been reinstated. In addition to her hosting role on TNA iMPACT!, she is also the co-host of the Internet show TNA Global iMPACT! with Jeremy Borash. At TNA Hardcore War, Hemme refereed a match between Traci and Gail Kim. In July 2006, she was featured on Spike TV's Women of Action special.

In September 2006, Hemme recorded a song entitled "Society Box", which was featured on TNA's November 21, 2006 music release, 3rd Degree Burns. She has also been traveling to Windsor, Ontario to train under TNA agent Scott D'Amore in between TNA TV tapings. She also won TNA's Knockout of the Year for 2006.

On January 14, 2007 at the Final Resolution 2007 PPV, Christy came out and interrupted the Voodoo Kin Mafia and cut a promo about women's involvement in wrestling today. She said that she wanted to wrestle too - and the mostly male crowd in the TNA arena jeered her. Kip James called her a slut, which garnered him a slap from Hemme, while B.G. James attempted to play peacemaker.

In the following weeks, Kip and Hemme would be shown getting into a fair few arguments over his lack of respect for her, and for women as a whole. Hemme made her TNA in-ring debut at Against All Odds 2007 where she wrestled and defeated "The Big Fat Oily Guy" in a Tuxedo Match.

On the March 8 version of iMPACT, Hemme asked Jim Cornette for a match pitting VKM against her a new, previously undisclosed, team, at Destination X 2007. Cornette consented and "booked the match" in storyline. On the pay-per-view, Hemme introduced The Heartbreakers (formerly The Heart Throbs of the WWE). Despite Hemme's attempts to give Kip James a "low blow", VKM defeated her team, who she later browbeat at ringside. Hemme later announced that she had found another team to face the VKM. At Lockdown, the mystery team this time was Serotonin, but VKM defeated them as well.

She recently brought in Basham and Damaja as her new permanent tag team in her battle with VKM. They beat Kip James in a handicap match at Sacrifice while BG James was attacked by them. Then, at Slammiversary VKM beat Basham and Damaja but Lance Hoyt turned on them and kissed Christy.

In November 2006, Hemme participated in the Queens of Chaos shows in Paris, France. She wrestled two matches, losing to former WCW talent April Hunter. She then defeated British wrestler Minx to earn the right to referee the championship match, which was eventually won by Hunter.

On July 21, 2007 Hemme defeated Ann Brookstone at a Heavy on Wrestling event in Superior, Wisconsin with Nora Greenwald acting as Special Guest Referee.

Hemme made her acting debut in the film Fallen Angels, portraying the deadly sin "Lust". She will also be appearing in another horror film tenatively titled Bubba's Chili Parlor, playing a zombie.
