I'm excited. But we need to shush about being so convinced that Orton will beat Cena....because you know when that happens, WWE likes to change it up since we all "figure it out" ....

Apparently, there will now be no Jackass involvement in the show.

I see Cena beating Orton due to some outside interferiance (Booker, maybe?) then having Triple H come out and stare down Orton from the ramp following the bout. This sets up Orton/HHH for the belt, and gives Cena a fresh fued with Booker.

To furthur elaborate on the now dropped angle at SS:
Source: PWInsider.com
The planned "Jackass invasion" storyline which would have culminated at SummerSlam with a match against Umaga has been scrapped. WWE had already started promoting the Jackass stars appearing at SummerSlam - on the PPV promotional poster featuring the Jackass crew on the beach - burried up to their necks by Umaga.
The angle was originally supposed to include all of the big Jackass stars - Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Wee Man and the rest of them. Bam Margera suffered an injury recently and had to drop out of the match. The deal officially fell apart late last week when Johnny Knoxville pulled out.
Johnny Noxville had planned to do a few TV appearances for WWE leading up to the SummerSlam PPV. After last month's tragedy happened, Knoxville and the rest of the group began distancing themselves from WWE. What started off as a several promised TV and PPV appearances soon scaled back to Jackass only working the SummerSlam PPV. Knoxville's departure lead WWE to cancel the match completely.
The Jackass were supposed to appear at the Great American Bash last weekend and do some of their stunts on Umaga, costing him to drop the Intercontinental title to Jeff Hardy. The Jackass crew was booked to be victorious over Umaga in their match at SummerSlam. Umaga will now face Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam.

Wow... in eight months he would have gone from being undefeated to jobbing to Jackass jackasses.

I know right, I was PISSED. Last years Summerslam defied the laws of physics by both sucking and blowing. Edge/Cena was pretty good, but the rest of it SUCKED. Foley/Flair was amazing.

My Predicted Card:
WWE Title: Randy Orton Vs. John Cena
WHC: Batista Vs. Kahli
ECW Title "Extreme Rules": Morrison Vs. Punk (perhaps a 4 way with Burke and Dreamer thrown in)
HHH Vs. King Booker
IC Title "Street Fight": Umaga Vs. Jeff Hardy
US Title "Ladder Match": Matt Hardy Vs. MVP
Lashley Vs. Carlito
Raw Tag Titles: Londrick Vs. WGTT Vs. Cade and Murdoch
SD Tag Titles: Deuce and Domino Vs. Eugene and ?? (possibly Kane or a legend)
Kennedy Vs. Cody Rhodes (in a rushed feud)
I know 10 matches is too many but I was trying to get all the major people on the card. Plus Lashley/Carlito will only be 3 minutes.

One of the Hardys will win the belt. BUT WHOOOOO?!?!!?!? Tune in Next Week for......Mystery Smark Theatre 3000! can it be both of them? You know, kinda like that time they won the European and Light Heavyweight Championship title at around the same time? just so we can get something like this Again only with less neon. In all seriousness i think they might have them both go over in their respective feuds.

Then again, save for the Edge/Kane booking and Hardy/MVP, my predictions have been s*** regarding WWE.

If Matt faces MVP again, it better be a good match this time. Got my hopes up for the last one and it sucked. Not at all up to both guys standards, probably all the botches.

I think Matt will win at SS, if only because MVP held to his belt longer than Ummaga has with the IC strap.
And no, I don't think both will win belts at SS.

Now after looking at that picture, they need to bring back the European Title, put it on ECW maybe? Or Raw and get rid of the Women's belt, not to sound sexist, but it serves no purpose.

Optimists Eat Babies! Your card is good but, I change Kane & Eugene for The Major Bros. I don't think The Major Bros. are ready to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships yet, I assume when they do finally challenge they will win, so I'm basically saying I don't think they are ready for the belts yet, give them a few months. I picked Kane and Eugene due to one thing. Duece N' Domino have been picking on Eugene for the past few weeks, this leads me to believe that Vicky Guerrero will book Eugene and a "Mystery" partner to face Duece N' Domino for the Championships, the obvious choice to me for some reason is Kane, mainly because he's good at being placed in random tag teams.

The official theme for SummerSlam 2007 has been announced as "Whine Up" by Kat DeLuna. You can listen to it here: www.myspace.com/katdeluna (Its the second song down) And yes, boys and girls, this can officially be called the worst WWE pay-per-view theme ever. Hands down. No questions asked.
