I'd mark if they had him kick a Diva and she moved out of the way just in time and Orton went flying ala Charlie Brown. I had a similar idea not too long ago... Remember in the Peanuts comic strip/cartoon how mean-spirited Lucy would beg Charlie Brown to kick a field goal, only to pull the ball away at the last second? Then she'd berate him as a putz. Suppose the rookie Cody Rhodes dared Randy Orton to punt his lights out and "assumed the position"...sweeping the Legend Killer's leg causing Orton to fall awkwardly. Then fans and commentators alike LOL at Randy Orton looking dazed and confused after falling for the old trick, as Cody puts the boots to him in earnest, shouting "Here's one for your mamma!" Orton gets owned, and instant credibilty for the new kid on the block. The "Kick of Doom" is merely a hip with hop, no more effective than a scissors kick from King Booker The Good. Any good worker can absorb it. The beauty of it is in the selling, from the heel to the face to the announcers. ...and of course the cameramen capturing it from the proper angle , then finding the kids with that look on their faces. |

If you don't know what this means:
A coffin corner punt in football is designed so the ball lands inside the 20 yard line, and goes as close to the end zone as possible before it goes out of bounds.
We could call it the Coffin Corner because he is the Legend Killer, or Concussion Corner because that seems to be what happens when he kicks someone.
