Yeah, because Steveie Richards winning effects the majority, right?
Come on guys, can't you see a bone when they throw it? Richards or Balls Mahoney winning does NOT equal serious ratings increases, no matter HOW many times Stevie "shows us".

Vince should listen to the FANS. Whether those fans are on the "interwebz" or not shouldn't make a difference.

He should listen to the majority of his fans if he wants to have a profit-making business, though. He DOES have a profit-making business. I should have prefaced by saying that we aren't the majority of his fans. We are a lunatic fringe group of fans that wants CM Punk to squash Cena, Khali, and Jesus for the unified intergalactic superheavyweight championship title made of chocolate-covered platinum, or something like that. Hyperbole? Yes. I'm trying to say that we aren't the majority Vince is pandering towards. Our ideas will not generate a dime for the 'E. And I want to see a title belt made of chocolate-covered platinum. Edit: I prolly should have said "continue to have a profit-making business."

Absolutely not. The internet doesn't know a fraction of what they think they know about the business or running a business for that matter.

I think Vince should listen to all fan groups.
The mainstream is catered to with Smackdown and Raw.
ECW should have been the smaller scale, darker, more violent smark-friendly promotion which could cater to the niche of the wrestling fanbase that watches ROH, TNA etc....

People who know entertainment when they see it. That tells me nothing.

I don't think the WWE should listen to the "interwebz" but I think they should value the opinions of its fans alot more than they currently do. In fact, I'm pretty sure they purposely go against what the "learned" wrestling fan wants.
Would be nice if we could find a sensible balance.
Note to Vince: Going against your "core" fans ended up with you almost being wiped by competition. If I were you Vince, I wouldn't let the day come when you once again had real competition.

Lemme put it like this -- If teh interwebzzx owned a large, national wrestling promotion, I'd bet the farm on that promotion going out of business within a span of several weeks. corrected for accuracy

If he listens to the right people, sure. But who, exactly, are the "right people"? At this point, anyone that says "start distancing yourself from steroids, dumbass". Look, the marks are just that, marks. Tell them someone's important, and they'll buy into it after a fashion. Hell, it got King damned Mable over 12 years ago (very short term, but it did work for a little bit), so it can work if you choose wisely. Now, since many in the ICW seem to demand pushes for smaller guys who are talented in the ring and can put on an entertaining match, why can't this get over in WWE-land? Micheals was the opposite of the people Vince was used to pushing. He got over pretty damned big, right? Small guy, good worker, good with a mic. All it took was Vince and company telling the marks "hey, he's important, he's cool, he's interesting" and they followed suit. Why can't that work again?
