Wouldn't suprise me, except the rape bits, you would think the stuff about Thorn would hinder his job prospects, unless he took the Patterson route (which didnt do Sylvan any good) Sylvan took Patterson's route alright.

Unfortunately there are WWE fans that will never believe anything negative about the WWE. Vince McMahon and Jim Ross could shoot a man in cold blood and they would blame the guy being shot for not getting out of the way. Then they would blame his family for being "bitter and holding a grudge". Hooray hyperbole! He's sadly not THAT far off.

I don't defend the E, but when that first round of sex charges surfaced in the early 90's-I tried not to ignore it completely. As a matter of fact, that whole scandal probably had as much to do with my taking a 2 or 3 year break from wrestling, as much as Hogan leaving

Off topic, but Homosexual Vampire Rapist would be an excellent name for a metal band.

Readers Digest version - don't be around Kevin when he's had a few. He tends to get frisky. I think the Variations version would be much mor uhm interesting.

I tottaly believe that JR said to those guys that they have to get bigger. I've seen wrestling documantaries where JR is outright shown talking to guys after a dark match saying that he has to get bigger, or "work on your arms". I know that while he was crtiquing on Tough Enough, he would say something about their physical build first thing. Like "well, nothings jiggling on him", then critiquing their athletic ability. I also heard him say to a few guys that were normal looking "I'm sorry, but to make it, you gotta be tight!" Which would take on a totally different meaning if Patterson said it.

Wow. I'm shocked how many people here can't buy the notion that there are sexually deviant things done among wrestlers. There are tomes and tomes of tales ranging from flashing to borderline rape. The only thing I can't be sure about is the Russ Haas story. Charlie's never said anything like that, but an air pocket in a syringe certainly can kill you. Whether or not that's what really happened to him, I have zero idea. An air pocket in a syringe can kill you but only if your shooting into a vein (mainlining). Don't yo shoot roids into muscle mass like you Gluteus maximus?

I've read articles with Charlie talking about Russ. So i REALLY doubt that story, as Charlie talked about his family having some hereditary problem... I kinda doubt Charlie is you know.... covering up the DEATH of his OWN BROTHER. Well, didn't Charlie get busted?

Wow. I'm shocked how many people here can't buy the notion that there are sexually deviant things done among wrestlers. There are tomes and tomes of tales ranging from flashing to borderline rape. Ditto. What's so hard to believe about any of this especially given the current happenings in wrestling on the steroid tip. But on the sexual assault tip we've all heard the Bradshaw stories and what's so hard to believe that some guys might be trying to take advantage of smaller guys? It happens outside of wrestling, why makes sexual assault among wrestlers so implausible?

...Wait? How does he know these things about recent talent? Wasn't he only around in the late 90s? Many of the current stars were in Memphis at the same time as him.

He's sadly not THAT far off. Yes. Yes he is. No he's not. Read some of the replys to this thread. Some people just want to believe that the wrestling business (namely WWE) is a perfect land of milk and honey.
