Is awesome, but I'm treating it as fiction.
Anyone got some great lines from there, I'll post some later.

I used mine as a doorstop for a while, but it eventually became firewood.

I'm pretty sure HHH would be more than happy to drop a deuce on Hogan, though.

Odd, I never knew he performed on the main event of SummerSlam 92. Or that Andre's crotch was resting on his chest in front of the largest audience in the world; plus he died within a week of their epic battle.

I've got it but never read it. Does he just make a load of stuff up?

God, I love the internet. He never said Andre died a week later. He said he died "shortly after that." Whether 6 years is considered a short ammount of time or not is open to interpretation. And the quote didn't come from his book either. It came from his A&E television doccumentary.

I've got it but never read it. Does he just make a load of stuff up? Yes. He and Brother Bruti saved the life of a rat who was abandoned by some filthy Canadian wrestler. He also makes the claim that why people in the back hate him is because he often breaks up fights instead of just letting them go. Also, there is also toilet humor (which is now quite common in wrestling raod stories) involving Andre. Its a good read, but not a source of accurate wrestling information.

And the quote didn't come from his book either. It came from his A&E television doccumentary. He also said it in his episode of MTV Cribs. He was showing off his wrestling room and said, "These are the boots I wrestled Andre in. He died a couple weeks later" Or something to that effect.

Stop the madness! Hogan's book was basically the truth, brother. I mean the guy does what is good for Hulk Hogan, and what is good for Hulk Hogan is good for wrestling. Therefore, if Hulk Hogan had been given total control of WCW booking in 2000, where he'd win the title and squash Goldberg -- the WCW would still be around today, dude.
And while that's total BS, I'm a Hogan fan and would have loved to have seen it. In my opinion, Hogan is better than the entire WWE right now.

I wish I still had the ESPN interview from 2001 or the first WWF promo from 2002 -- Andre the Giant was 700 pounds -- and I love Jim Ross no selling it the first time he said it. I love Hogan because he is not as egotistical and delusional as he sounds -- he just uses it to keep himself over with HIS fans. And sure he draws a 1/3rd of what WWE does right now, but us Hogan fans are still around and still loyal to a tee and he knows that we know he's full of "crap," but we still love him. Sometimes I think he rants on and on to entertain who are his fans rather than really trying to get new ones. In other words, he loves the attention he gets . . . even when he says something non-fans are going to think is stupid.

On the E! network in 1999, he first started making outrageous claims about Andre's size (over 700lbs.). On The Best Damn Sports Show Ever in late 2001, he said Andre was well over 1,000 lbs. I admit this is what keeps Hogan in my mind at the moment.

Heenan: That's my second favorite book. Monsoon: I'm almost afraid to ask. What's your favorite? Heenan: All the rest are tied.

erm.. i love how he says HHH was honored to drop the undisputed title to him when we all know trips hated him Trips flip flops on who he hates and likes more than most politicians. He said Ric Flair was washed up and should hang it up, then they were the best of friends.

Ah I love Hogan's book. I didn't know he single handedly saved Wrestlemania by convincing the guards to let Mr. T's entourage in.
I didn't know he came up with turning Heel all by himself.
And I didn't know the Hulkster made sure that he put everyone over in his matches even if he beat them.

I didn't know he came up with turning Heel all by himself. But he approached Bischoff ALL BY HIMSELF and wanted in to the NWO after he realized it was going to be super over! (he conviniently forgot the fact that Eric asked him about turning heel months before that)

And I didn't know the Hulkster made sure that he put everyone over in his matches even if he beat them. I can honestly say that there's a large list of wrestlers who would never be considered "legends" if they hadn't worked with Hogan. Honestly, would Paul Orndorf, Big John Studd, and King Kong Bundy be remembered as such high profile performers had they not worked with Hogan?

And you can also list the people who would have gotten farther if they hadn't worked with Hogan. Vader for one. He doesn't make everyone look like gold after he's had a match with them like he said in his book.
