Little history on this match...Andre the Giant was originally slated to be Martel and Garea's partner but he was selling his "injury" at the hands of Killer Khan. Gorilla Monsoon came out of retirement to be in this match. He had promised to retire after his lost to Ken Patera in the previous year. He would only come out of retirement two times, once to participate in Big John Studd's body slam challenge in 1983 and in a legends battle royal in 1987.
Funny to see Martel and Hansen mix it up nearly five years before Hansen would win the AWA World title from Martel. Martel looks like a midget compared to Hansen.

This is so weird on so many levels: I've never seen Albano wrestle before, Monsoon's out of retirement, there a slim possibility of seeing LARIATOOOOOOOOOO!!! and we're reminded of holw long Rick Martel has been in the business.
And SD Jones actually wins! MADNESS!!
