For me it'd have to be Lance Storm. For some reason I loved canadian technical wrestlers when I was a mark. At first I just thought he was really proud of his country. I mean, if an olympic athelete can have their anthem played in any country, why can't an awesome wrestler?
It wasn't until he just turned into an all out anti-american that I got the picture. He turned Hacksaw on us the bastard!
Actually, I think it took that for me to realize he was an anti-American heel.

DiBiase, Undertaker, and Power and Glory.
Which one of these doesn't belong?

DiBiase, Undertaker, and Power and Glory. Which one of these doesn't belong? Undertaker because he's undead.

Probably Tazz in his early WWE run. I was rooting for him in his feud with Lawler, since I think he had it coming.
On an unrelated note, I've never hated a heel like I hated Steven Richards of RTC. He certainly did his job well, since I wanted to split his head open with a golf club.

I was a five year old Ted DiBiase mark...
I remember going to the Civic (Now Mellon) Arena, and watching Money, Inc. take on Hogan and Beefcake... When Money, Inc.'s music hit, man it was cool... It was electric...
Hogan was still cool at the time, and I remember shaking his hand... It was AWESOME for a five year old.

Probably the original D-X
Though it may have been Ric Flair or the Outsiders.

I was gonna say HBK, because I know full well when he tossed Marty through the window and in the weeks following that I was sold on HBK 100%. Still am, but as I was reading this someting occurred to me.
HBK was not the first heal I marked for.
I watched wrestling as a kid, hell I even recall watch MSG the night Hogan won the belt from Iron Sheik, and then somewhere before Wrestlemania I stopped watching for some reason. For years.
Then when I heard that Slaughter was the WWE champion I was kind of interested in that, but I had no idea he was a heal.
So when a friend said to me, "Hey I tapped Wrestlemania 7 wann borrow it?" I did hoping to see Slaughter as champion.
But still I had no idea he was a heal at that time, and would really until later in the show as they recapped.
I watched the rundown of the matches, and a name caught my attention Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka....now there was a name I knew, who didn't......but who the hell was this cartoon character he was fighting.....The Undertaker? Well knowing the Superfly's reputation as I did I looked forward to seeing the Superfly destroy this nobody, The Mortician? What the hell was his name again? Anyway as history would have it Taker would destroy the Superfly, and his top rope walk had me bought and sold.
I started watching wrestling again to see Taker.
Eventually Michaels style caught my eye, and then Flair just owned all of them.
Taker however would fall on the wayside for me, I never got that into his supernatural side, and always sort still do hate his conveluted backstory, how are we supposed to like a character that set the fire that killed his parents, then blamed it on his brother? I did enjoy his biker guy image, but now I just wish he'd call it quits. His frequent and prolonged absenses just make me wish he'd retire gracefully. Flair too. Michaels is starting to wear thin for me as well, but he'll keep for a few more years.'
People need to remember Heros are only as good as their Villians. That's why I push Edge, Ken Kennedy, and MVP.

I'd say Hogan, Hall and Nash in the nWo, they just took WCW by storm and just ran roughshod over everyone. Good times, till they brought in the B-team and you know the rest.
