Ok let's take a look at things. You've got some guys trying to make a name for themselves, which Bart Gunn did, but ruined his shot at Stardom by DYING against Butterbean. In todays day and age, who would you put in brawl for all? You can only choose 8, but no "main eventers" because WWE would never do that.
I would choose: Elijah Burke Shelton Benjamin John Morrison CM Punk Chris Masters Chuck Palumbo Kenny Dykstra Lance Cade
I think that would be a very respectable tournament.

Burke VS Benjamin
Cade VS Punk
Palumbo VS Snitsky
Dykstra VS Sandman

I have this Raw on tape. Kane and Mankind captured the Tag Team Belts from The Outlaws (who I marked for). On Nitro DDP wrestled The Disciple

Bart Gunn proved himself to be a truely leathal guy, It's not always about the guy who has the backround. He was a guy, that if properly trained long enough, could have been truely special in the boxing world. Legit tough guys with fighting experience said that they have never been hit so hard in their life as hard as they were hit by Bart Gunn. What he did to Dr. Death Steve Williams and Bradshaw was just unfathamable by those who understood their reputations. It's too bad that all credibility was lost when he was knocked out in about 30 seconds by Butterbean. I don't care how good you are or how much raw talent you have, you should never put someone who's a rookie in the ring with the absolute best right off the bat. Butterbean has never been KO'ed, and is the true Knockout king. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gih7CwUSb2UBart Gunn out wrestling, and then KO'ing Dr. Death www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T_YFUeiByQGodfather gave him a good fight, but was KO'ed into oblivion at the end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeZhM7nzLU8Bart Gunn doing to Bradshaw what Butterbean did to him.

As for the Brawl For All, I don't think it'd work, as like last time you think you have a surefire winner and then someone comes along and knocks the guy clean out and there goes your badass.

With the current spate of injuries, I doubt they'd even entertain the idea. The original B4A was an injury minefield.

The first brawl for it all was absolutely terrible and achieved three major things...
1. An abundance of injuries
2. A complete humiliation of Bart Gunn at WM
3. Such a stunt should never be attempted again

It's funny when JR says "These people wanna see some haymakers."
Then a few seconds later the crowd starts chanting "WE WANT WRESTLING".

Bart Gunn ... ruined his shot at Stardom by DYING against Butterbean. I was always under the impression that after the B4A Bart had started walking around the locker room like his s--- didn't stink, and the Butterbean match was the front office's way of putting Bart in his place. Anyone know if there's any truth to that legend?

Khali or Big Daddy V would probably win the tournament. I can't see anyone in the WWE knocking them out.
