The Marine was no worse than anything Steven Segal or Vin Diesel has put out in recent years. I actually thought even though the condemned was crap, Austin was really great in it. Unlike Cena, his charisma seemed to move onto the big screen easily. Segal seriously sucks. Austin had previous acting experience, so it worked better. Besides, he's been playing the badass for years, while Cena had to drop the rapper stuff for Marine.

Maybe this will stop the anti WWE Films comments, considering how much money they are making overall. Nah...

Seriously, why is Condemned so much lower? I thought it looked much better than The Marine. JOHN CENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA has more fans still around watching the e unlike stone cold who's fans left with the attitude era.

I started the Marine and went about 30 minutes before I stopped over the retard-aucity of it all (yeah, I make up words). That part where Robert Patrick and his thugs shoot Cena's truck full of about 5,000 bullets and it still runs AT TOP SPEED!!!

Condemned was the 2nd most grossing DVD rental this week at $4.15 million. First place was We Are Marshall.
I'm updating the stats now.

I saw See No Evil and The Condemned in theatres. It's good filler film. I watched The Marine because I needed a movie to review.

Man everyone on this site was soooooooooo rite... wwe films has been a total bust thus far. Furthermore, everyone was totally correct in saying Vince has succeeded in nothing besides the wrestling world.

(sarcasm) People took a giant piss all over Vince for doing a films division and he's turned a profit in all 3 of the film projects And people wonder why Vince sometimes doesn't take internet fans seriously.

^ I agree completley.... It really makes most of the people on this site who blindly ripped Vince for venturing into films look like complete morons.... I wonder if the people who ripped Vince and company will come out and admit they were totally 10000000 percent wrong..... I highly doubt it

The XFL and WBF flopped. But even after See No Evil got the films division off to a good start, people still called Vince every name in the book. Then The Marine came out, struggled in theatres but then tore up DVD sales, people STILL called Vince an idiot. The condemend appears to be duplicating the Marine's formula (DVD sales will carry the movie to profitable numbers) The WWE films expiriment is a success thus far. They've made 3 movies and turned profits on all of them.

But then again, we all know to perfectly run a multi-million dollar company better then Vince & Co. Why? Because we read backstage notes! ;D

Maybe this will stop the anti WWE Films comments, considering how much money they are making overall. Nah... The funny part is 9 out of 10 people who complain about these movies aren't a fan of the style. But they aren't making nearly as much as they seem. Noone makes 100% + margins.. well, except the telecom industry back in the late 90's as I was painfully reminded during a horrible training session in a horrible state (Jersey) which was only saved by beer and mini-burgers at Cheese Burger in Paradise today. While the shooting production budgets are surpassed.. the cost of producing physical DVD's, marketing, paying the people that are responsible for this, Universal or whoever's cut that's the distributor... that all has to be eaten in those numbers which will probably give WWE Films about a 5% margin of profit if the numbers are high enough. I think WWE would be happy if this made them at the minimum $1 million after all expenses are taken out of the made money. And any profit in the first year of any new project, especially creative, is a hell of an accomplishment. My guess is also, any money made is being reinvested into the project. The biggest downfall of this is their approach to increasing the budget on each film. If the budgets hovered around the same.. they'd probably gain a lot more revenue as it would basically be the same money invested over and over. Kind of like the smart way people play at Vegas where you never bet your winnings, just the money you started with.

They've made 3 movies and turned profits on all of them. Since the only profit they make is off of home video, they should just can the theatrical releases entirely and go straight to DVD. Nobody wants to blow ten bucks on their rubbish in a theater. The Marine only played two weeks (down to 1 showtime for the 2nd week) where I live, and this theater was not far from Quantico Marine Base, so you can't use the "your audience isn't patriotic enough!" excuse. The Condemned only played ONE WEEK in my theatre.

Are they making any more WWE movies? Darn it, I want a Santino Marella movie! They're next movie is a remake of the old 70's TV show Room 222. (save us.222)
