I've been watching froa almost exactly Ten years...and I haven't "marked out" ( like jumping off my seat and screaming my head off) in YEARS...and I give credit to my knowledge of dirt sheets etc.

But I had a few before I became a smark....


Foley winning the title. The crowd helped out.

The rock winning the 00 rumble.

Goldberg beating Hogan ( HUGH goldberg fan at the time).

I'm sure theres more that I'm forgetting but those would be right up there.

Tbh...older wrestling fans like that jackrabbit dude shouldn't be ashamed of thier age...I wish I was alive for the 80's Hogan era ( as a mark of course..)

I was 13..a no-name "scrub" (as we used to refer to jobbers as) beat an established superstar almost twice his size with some-flippy-move,clean with zero bullcrap shanninnigans..

Things like that just didn't happen back then.

For me to consider it a "mark out" it would have to be a time I got real excited as a smark. And thats gotta be NYR 06, with Edge winning the belt. I remember hoping so hard that he would win the belt an entire year before, at NYR 05, even though I knew it wouldnt happen. I remember the recap commercial for NYR 06 was awesome too. After they show the ending of the chamber match, it fades to black, and you hear Vince say "Nobody goes anywhere!". Then they show Edge come out and win. I wish I could see that commerical/recap again.

Also when Angle joined TNA. I remember checking like every site I could just to see any update, or even just ANYONE talking about it. I even ordered the No Surrender replay just to have the PPV recorded...

Man, my jaw dropped..I didn't even know how to react..

I think that was the last time that someone that NO ONE expected to win the WWE title..won it.

I was at that Raw and as you can see on the clip which often circulates around here when this is mentioned, people didn't stand up and cheer...they JUMPED out of their seats and screamed their heads off. Myself included.

Seconded in FULL. I was there, and when it finally happened, I marked HARD.

For WWE related, probably when Benoit won the WHC @ WM20, which I was also there for live. Amazing moment.

Fingerpoke of doom. I was so happy that the nWos had merged and Hogan was the champ again. I liked Hogan as the world champion despite his matches. I also liked Goldberg.

Besides all of us screaming, my friends (who aren't even Nigel marks) started hugging. It was just one hell of an experience on Saturday.

for me, it was Jericho becomming the first Undesputed World Champion live at my hometown and I was at the cheepseats to watch.

For me, and I really feel horrible for this, it's when Benoit won the title at Wrestlemania 20.

Nothing has ever come close to making me mark out as much as I did that night, which makes the whole thing much more sad.
