A new term
I believe there are different levels of heel. There's heel, you know, annoying, talk bad about the city, and your mamma's mamma. But every era, there's like one or two heels that are so deeply heel, that they are better called being the antichrist. there are some guys today that I feel have the potential, due to their charisma, that they can be believed as an antichrist type of heel.
Jake Roberts was an antichrist. You know what I mean. I shouldn't even have to explain it. As a matter of fact, I won't.
Heel Undertaker. Antichrist.
Heel Vince Mcmahon. Antichrist.
Who do you think, today, in the WWE right now, do you think could get over as an antichrist type of evil villain? And I don't mean someone who just looks dark, like Kevin Thorn, I mean who do you think can convinced the masses (not the IWC!!!) that they are really satan?
Believe this or not, but I truely believe that Batista can do it. I'm an artist, and I have a vision for things and I'm usually right. But as a face, batista shouldn't be "wrestling", or wearing nice suits and acting swave, he should be always crazy and brawling and always being psyched up. He should be uncontrolable, but he should be the silent type of uncontrolable, and he should never yell. For interviews, he should speak softly as the camera focus on his eyes. that's how he should be as a face.
As heel, he SHOULD wear the suits (kind of like Sean O'haire) and he should have that evil, let's make a deal or I kill you, swave style that he curently has. I hate to say it, But Batista has a more menacing look than O'haire. I don't think the name "O'haire" fits the charactor anyway.
I don't know why WWE has never capitalyzed on this before. The only time Batista was heel in WWE was when he was somebody's lackey, either D-Von or HHH. hate him if you will, but I think his current babyface run has run It's coarse. he has that silent serialkiller look, he looks like he's on steroids and dosen't give a damn, he's got that awesome dragon tattoo on his back and squiggly veins on his arms and in his chest.
Smallville did a way better job with utilizing batista's strengths than WWE is currently doing. I have faith that Batist could be the baddest heel in WWE, and the role wouldn't even require him to talk that much, just sit on a throne and say a few lines.
I saw the cover of Batista's book today, and I just looked at it for like 30 seconds, and I thought to myself, "Man, he looks like the devil".
Disagree with me if you will, (and I know alot of you will), but at least tell me who you think can be this type of evil, convincing heel?
