That "SAVE US 222" has so far resulted in alot of nothing. Hasn't The Higher Power storyline taught you people when you were being worked? I'd like Jericho to come back as much as anyone, but when it comes to wrestling, I only believe it when I see it (if then). There's alot of ~NEWZ! out there on the Net, and I'll only believe the Jericho Return when it actually happens...
...and I have a bad feeling he'll end up getting jobbed to Trips anyway.
SAVE US=higher RAW ratings for anticipation with no payoff.

I'm not convinced that this is Jericho-related, and if it is someone new then I'm interested in how he'll fare in a year's time.

I am starting to believe it will be a terrible payoff. I get this feeling that its for a movie they are promoting from some studio company to get in more revenue.

WWE has not hyped SAVEUS hardly at all. In fact, one of the few times it's been acknowledged, there was a Mantaur Joke about it.
All this hype is not the WWE's doing, therefore, it's fairly hard to hold them responsible for it.
If anything, blame "OMG JERICHO LET'S GO TOUCH OURSELVES!!1!eleven1!11" thread posters.

For a while (at the beginning) I actually thought it was Jericho's return (most of the hypertext in the promo corresponds to Jericho), but it's gone on a long time with no Jericho as of yet. I have a feeling this will "end" just like the McMahon Son storyline.

I have a feeling this will "end" just like the McMahon Son storyline. Oh, the illegitimate son story had a payoff- it was just a payoff that a lot of fans hated. "GTV" is still the prime example of a potentially great story petering out. In the basic style in which you hype things like this, they're going at the right pace. The problem is that the roster is beleaguered by injuries and they're not calling up enough guys to fill the empty space, which results in repetition. So the patience level is of course going to be thinner.

She's delaying this cause of the leak. She's a vengeful woman.

The Save Us 222 thing last night prominently flashed the number 19 at the very end. 19 days from today will be the day of the Survivor Series. That might mean that the answer will come then.
This is just complete speculation on my part.

It wouldn't surprise me too much if 222 wasn't Jericho.
Seems like a safe bet that he's coming back soon, but it could be part of more 222 stuff, not the full payoff.
Maybe that's giving them too much credit though.

The more they push this, the more I start to believe it's Edge's comeback.
But, didn't Edge already have a second coming from neck problems?

Part of me would like it to be Edge backed by a stable.

It's quite easy, actually. The lack of hype IS hype. A good bit of mystery works like nothing else to keep people interested. This is true in all forms of writing. WWE is using a great writers tool, whether intentionally or by stumbling onto it like the proverbial blind squirrel finding a nut. Part of me would like it to be Edge backed by a stable. God, I hope not. The brand split has the rosters too thin to really support stable feuds. And the receipe they've been using, having a heel stable with no face stable to feud with, is just awful. Evolution sucked for a reason.

Why would Jericho debut on a Saturday? He wouldn't. I was trying to note that the logic being displayed was faulty and was grasping at straws. At this point, I'm just going to sit back and see where it takes us. No more speculation about dates...and I'd advise others to do the same. That way there's no disappointment if Survivor Series (and the day after) come and go with no resolution.

I just love the fact that they air a 30 second video that doesn't show anything, and the internet just explodes.
