Oh please. You can blatantly see where this "ghost" is looking down at his hands, and following the exact same path as Grant (aka Grant looking down at his camera). Did you read every bit of ALL 4 pages, or just part of the first? It's called a thermal reflection. That what happens when you use psuedo-science instead of REAL science. They are using tools and equipment for purposes OTHER then what those tools and equipment are meant for, and using them in ways that they have no real proof works or means anything. That's what happens when you base your finding on your limited knowledge of natural science, like say a bunch of plumbers would do. You're going to get on that guy for not being an 'EXPERT' but take the advice of a bunch of plumbers using high-tech equipment? Actually I did read it. And Im not saying either is 100% accurate. Im just saying that this guy has a little less experiance in this feild. Look man, I'm not saying that disproving this one "ghost" disproves all, and I'm not saying you can't believe in what ever you want to. But it's pretty obvious this guy was about as thorough as you can be in debunking this particular ghost. "I am by no way trying to pass myself off as an expert, but I do have some experience with image analysis and enhancement and I have an eye for detail." That is a quote by him, experience in image analysis, as far we know he's goes to school for this kind of thing. I don't think we can discount his "experience" for the "experience" of a bunch of plumbers. They might have "ghost hunting" experience, but that doesn't mean they have real scientific experience and know how to properly use these things that most people have to go to school to know how to use correctly.

Here's my problem with that, I've NEVER NEVER had a ghost in my face. And I've been in "haunted" houses that other people swear and declare about. Also, another problem with that is, I'm willing to except when * I* can't explain something. That however does not mean it's NOT unexaplainable. I am not a scientist, I don't know how everything works. Odds are the same for you. What is "paranormal" or "unexplainable" to me and you, may be the simpliest of the simplest puzzles for someone who actually knows about natural science (how certain equipments work, how they interact with surrondings, etc etc). Well that's the thing. You have faith that everything has some sort of scientific explanation. While supernatural phenomena might possibly have something to do with science, I am willing to believe there are things that exist outside our comprehension. I'm not saying "Hey you believe what I do", it just seems in your earlier post you're mocking these guys for what they do. They aren't scientists, they're simply TRYING to understand something that happened to them by doing a logical thing, going out and experiencing it again. I gaurantee you if they look at the "expert(only in quotes because there ARE supposed experts out there who try and debunk things with just as fuzzy science as you claim these guys to use)" analysis and they give them a clear cut reason, they'd agree with it. That's the heart of the show, they WANT to debunk the mundane to try and find real fool proof examples. I've rambled about this just because I do believe in the supernatural, and I just get a little irked when someone dismisses it because they think it's "silly" or "too much fantasy". If it matters there are Vampires, they're mentally disturbed indivduals who think they need blood to survive, or actually have a metabolism that processes blood as a sort of odd drug(there was a study on it, they crave blood but don't need it to survive). They don't have real fangs, can't turn into bats, and can walk in the sunlight. Usually tho they do wear black clothing and fall into the whole silly gothic lifestyle because they want attention. See I can accept scientific explanations. ;D No, I know REAL vampires. They suck your blood to live, can't come out in the day, crosses hurt them and they are immortal. And no, I'm not saying I KNOW everything has a scientific explanation, but I'm saying that we can't make that assumption (including those plumbers) based on the little scientific knowledge we have. What I am saying, is that something that SEEMS supernatural to you, or unexplainable to me, a lot of time is something that a real scientist can explain. And I am mocking the Ghost Hunters for what they do. I won't even deny that. They don't go in looking to debunk anything, they just do that to keep their cred up. I like to watch the show, but for me it's like watching a bad horror movie and it makes me laugh. Also, I want to say I'm sorry for the way I'm coming off. I tend to take this stuff way to personal.

I don't think they're super credible, but I do think they give a more sensible approach. That's me. Your mileage may vary. Let's give ourselves a big hand though, we've thouroughly derailed this thread. What do you think Elijah?

i cant believe how closed minded people can be.
so if i was a ghost hunter and i said that some of the things in this thread offended me, would it get locked down? i dont like what i do as a passion being torn down and completely mocked....
but whatever.
you can believe what you want to believe. i dont care. what i DO know is what i've been through... what i DO know is that i saw my great grandma in the broad daylight, i was wide awake, and she has been dead well over ten years and thats what i saw... people may see me as a hack, people may see TAPS as hacks, thats not anyones problem but the person who is closed minded. i can deal with that... dosent mean i'm going to be any less offended when my passion is ripped apart by someone who really dosen't know what they're talking about...
gah, i'm done ranting.

Funny how you complain about possibly being offended then you just turn around and rant about how anyone who disagrees with you on this is "close minded". *highfive*

Exactly. And about the closed minded thing. Its demonstrated perfectly in beetlejuice. People are closed minded and Choose not to see, Not that they can not. They choose not.

Did anyone catch Elijah Burke's bashing of the diva search? Or do I have to start another thread so we can remain on topic?

I believe you're the same person who earlier said, "Ghosts are real. Deal with it." I mean no offense to you personal, but that offended my rational thought and what I believe, so don't complain about something you equally helped start. Besides, we were done with this conversation. We've all kissed and made up, and have gotten back to making about Elijah!
