The Positives in WWE

Hmm, been losing lots of interest in any wrestling recently, but there's still some decent stuff going on. Llemme see what comes to mind...

-Matt Hardy/MVP feud. Hasn't dragged and even if they don't 'defend' the tag titles every week or whatever, it's not as if the SD tag division has lots of teams clamoring for title shots, so if the belts are just a link to such a great program, that's fine by me.

-Not the biggest fan, but can't ignore Santino's work in his character via the mic.

-Undertaker...just Undertaker.

-Shawn Michaels, bad knees and all, gotta likes the Showstopper.

-Jeff Hardy having the IC title, never disappointing in matches and being a warrior of rainbow hair.

-The best theme going today, 'Biscuits and Gravy'.

-Cade, Murdoch and Murdoch's muttonchops.

-CM Punk in the backstage segments.

-John Morrisson's entrance, interviews and his bumping around.

Most of my positives have already been said:

*MVP/Hardy feud: I almost wish that they'd stretch this out until 'Mania.

* save_us: The payoff will be worth the frustration, I hope.

* Santino on the mic: "Tom Hanks with the AIDS", "It was terrible what you did to that poor donkey."

* Beth Phoenix: Beth squashing useless divas is awesome. Hearing the word "Glamazon" a hundred times in every raw broadcast, not so much.

* The weekly Jeff Hardy Raw Match of the Night: There are plenty of better wrestlers than Jeff, but few are as interesting to watch.

* The return of Edge": Please let this lead to a match with 'Taker at 'Mania. *crosses fingers*

* Jamie Noble: Under appreciated comic genius, even if he is Smackdown's resident Jobber to the Stars.

I can find issues with all of those things besides Santino Marella. Santino is pure gold.

However, how can he possibly do that if he keeps losing to Jeff Hardy and can lose to just about anyone else they send at him? I nearly crapped my pants when they actually put him over Lashley a couple months back, but now Kennedy is approaching the Umaga "jobber to the stars" status when he should be one of the top guys. Kennedy = Excellent and Underused.
Diva Search - I'd be happier if it didn't exist at all anymore.

Overall, the only thing that makes me consistently happy right now is Finlay. And now that the Mysterio feud is dieing down, who knows what will happen to him?

-Having SD and ECW exchange talent (however this is marred by the fact that SD often tapes first, yet is chronologically last, and therefore they can't really do anything storyline-based)

-Beth Phoenix
-HBK
-HHH (in a time where a lot of main-event and upper-midcard guys are still recovering or just coming back, you need the guy who's been one of the most pivotal characters of the past 9 years or so)
-Kane's not being made to look like a total loser as much as he used to.

--I'm one of the few people who actually liked the Hornswoggle thing.

--William Regal, Comissioner.

--Santino frickin Marella

--John Cena's amazing feuds and matches (Before his injury)

--The ability to surprise people or keep them guessing (Shawn Michaels' return and the 222 stuff).

--The improving tag division. C&M, Londrick, Highlanders, WGTT, Rhodes & Holly, Super Crazy & Hacksaw Jim Duggan

--Jeff Hardy/Mr. Kennedy feud.

--DH Smith & Cody Rhodes' debut. Nice to see young talent working it's way onto the show.

Smackdown:

--Finlay. Finlay. Finlay.

--MVP. Matt Hardy. MVP/Matt Hardy

--Biscuits. Gravy. Biscuits & Gravy. Jesse & Festus. That is the face of a fun team to watch.

--Mark Henry's feud with Taker (Slow build. Really nice)

--Chuck Palumbo's return and build. I've liked it. I was a fan in WCW, so it's cool to see Chuck get another chance.

--Batista/Undertaker feud

--JBL on commentary

--Kane's matches with other big men. He makes Khali look credible. Every. Single. Time.

ECW:

--It's the most unpredictable wrestling show on TV. Anyone can win, at anytime.

--Balls/Kelly/Miz storyline

--Boogeyman improving as a wrestler and continuing to be entertaining.

--Seeing Viscera transform from lovable loser (jovial jobber?) in an unstoppable monster.

--Punk/Morrison

--Kevin Thorn/Stevie Richards.

--Nunzio/Dreamer Halloween show match.

--Punk. ECW Champion

I'm sure there is more, but that is all I can think of this time. Sometimes, I think people are negative for the sake of being negative.

Now, I'm not saying this for everyone, because I can understand some people not liking some of the things that I did like (Hornswoggle, Santino, Regal being moved away from wrestling, Mark Henry, yadda yadda).

- Matt/MVP: I can't picture them going on too much longer with this, but who knows. I'm enjoying this fued quite a bit.
- Punk/Morrison: I agree with you. I was saying I was happy that WWE didn't just flat-out job Punk to Morrison as soon as he came back from suspension... because there is no reason to reward someone directly after they contributed to making your company look bad. I think Morrison will probably win the belt Tuesday anyway.
- Kennedy... Kennedy: I agree with you. But he entertains me, and that's why he's on my list of "Positives".
- Diva Search: If they're going to continue to have the Diva Search, taking up as little actual TV time to showcase it is fine by me. I don't care one way or the other about the Diva Search, I'm just glad it's not taking up 15 minutes of Raw every week.
