Hell no. While the reasons you posted have merit, it doesn't match up with what HOF inductees have actually accomplished.

If you induct him, then you induct Brock Lesnar as well.

Hell no. While the reasons you posted have merit, it doesn't match up with what HOF inductees have actually accomplished. Dressing up in a chicken suit and getting chokeslammed a lot? Or appearing in a battle royal? (I know those are the "celebrity wing" HOFers. You didn't specify that they had to be ommitted. )

Now that I think about it, the HoF isn't good enough, he needs to be in the HALL OF F'N AWESOME.
HoFA 1st and only member: Batista
Jack Bauer and Chuck Norris are still a few votes shy of being inducted.

If anything WWE needs to start a Hall Of Batista.
And Wrestlemania should be called Batistamania.
In fact let's just take the word 'wrestling' (and any variation there of) and change it to Batista.

This thread was posted a long time ago, before WM23 I think, and the time has come to ask again. I know he's an active wrestler and everything but he really should be inducted right now. 5 reasons why: Great point but then again when was the last time Cena, Kane, and HHH even wrestled Taker. But the truth case as well there whole careers none of them have beaten him clean. Ok. Well thank god that there wasn't another Khali match that night. But he won by DQ. Yea and what does this have to do with anything. Genral Adan was one too. Should he be in the HOF? So as anybody else who toured with the WWE at that time.

If Batista makes it into the HOF, the doctor who gave him his roids should be the one inducting him

As soon as he gets puts on a chicken suit and gets tombstoned, and/or wins a tag title with The Rock's dad, he's in.

If Batista gets in he'll take the average age of the inductees to 'to be continued'

Hell no. While the reasons you posted have merit, it doesn't match up with what HOF inductees have actually accomplished. With all the respect and the sympathy I may have for childhood figures like George Steele and Junkyard Dog, and for valuable midcarders like Don Muraco, Nikolai Volkoff and Tony Atlas, Batista has accomplished more than most of them. Sure, JYD and the (original) Animal were over like hell, but anybody was in the 80s... so it's a relative criterium. Like him or not, Batista has more or less taken Lesnar's spot in WWE, and probably both men deserve to be inducted, but out of the two, I'd get Batista first.

I think he should get unlimited inductions. Like every year. And they hold his induction on a Sunday, but have someone win it away from him like the week before the ceremony. And this year, he can be inducted by a basketball (which, aside from being an inanimate object, will have a better promo/speech than Batista's). Oh, and he can take a dump on stage with his pyros behind him. Does that accurately incorporate all jokes about Batista into one post? I do believe it does. You forgot the Melina buttsecks and the turtlenecks, oh so glorious turtlenecks

If we're talking about a joke induction where he gets introduced by Drew Carey and gets a statuette of Bob Uecker, then why not. Gobble gobble!

Batista is too good for the Hall of Fame. They need to set up a whole new system just to honour him.

Inducting current performers into the HoF is stupid. I still don't like that they inducted Lalwer and J.R. already. Things like that should wait until retirement.
