You can't question WM3's record unless you're familiar with the Pontiac Silverdome. The stadium seated 70,000 for Lions football games (insert joke). With all the room on the field I highly doubt they would need to make something up like 93,173. I think the record is legit. And you can't say that you think the WM3 attendance is made up but not WM23. Because Ford Field holds a significantly less amount of peole than the Silverdome did. Also, alot of seats were unused for WM23 because of the WrestleMania set. At WM3, they just came out of the tunnel and that was it. The WrestleMania III attendance record is legit, accept it.

Also, alot of seats were unused for WM23 because of the WrestleMania set. At WM3, they just came out of the tunnel and that was it. The WrestleMania III attendance record is legit, accept it. The thing is, is that the Silver dome actually seated 81,000 people just for the seats alone. If there were only 78,000, you would had to have seen alot of empty seats, but reguardless of what you think the the attendence was, one thing is clear, It was definitey sold out. As a place that was sold out, and as a place that held 81,000 people for football, I believe that the record is legit. Why would anyone actually complain about 78,000 people anyway? They set an indoor attendence record for a sporting event with 93,000 people, but they didn't set an indoor record period, because with the 93,173, they were still short from the Pope by 600 or so. Why would they add an extra 5,000 just to be 600 short anyway? Also, everyone knows about the number 93,173, but If the real number is 78,000, why is it rounded? why isn't there an official number? Has it not come out over the last 20 years? Or did it actually reach 78,000 RIGHT on the button? Also, Wrestlemania 23 had a legit 75,000 fans. When I look at the pics, there are alot more than 3,000 more people at Wrestlemania 3 than at Wrestlemania 23.

I doubt it. They lied about WM 23's attendance.

Didn't someone say that WWE was on its way out of business? I think that selling nearly 50,000 tickets to a show pretty well states that they are doing well. To go along with people's erroneous prediction that WWE is going out of business, I remember that when it was first announced, people said that there was no way WWE could sell out the Citrus Bowl simply because of today's product. I've said it before and I'll say it again, WWE could book Wrestlemania in the middle of Madagascar, and it would still sell out in a week, BECAUSE IT'S WRESTLEMANIA. It doesn't matter what the card is, people will go to it because of the significance of the event.
