Awww man... Those first few sets of Jakks figures in 96-97 were all the rage...
Haha, I used to force my mom to bring me to Wal Mart every week, to see if they had gotten any new figures... I remember when the second set of figures came out, with like Sid, Owen, Vader and Austin, the things were selling like hot cakes, every where I checked they were out of stock. I actually hid 3 Steve Austin figures for my friends. They went the next day and bought em.
Then we had ourselves a HUGE collection of figures to f*** up! About 50 of the Hasbro figures, 15 or so of the OLD solid rubber WCW figures (not the big ones, the normal sized ones), all of the Jakks figures to that point, and a few LJN WWF figures from the 80s...
Fun times...

Kyle perhaps you can explain to me how Tank abbot qualifies as Classic. JAKKS has a master plan to make everyone, however remotely associated with the WWF (and apparently WCW) an action figure. I cannot believe some of the "legends" they've created, if I remember correctly there is a Barry Horowitz floating around out there someplace. Now I very well could be wrong, but I think we can all agree making action figures of Tank Abbot and Barry Horowitz is just asinine. Now onto an unrelated topic. Who here used to "collect" the old original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures? I'm talking about the old original series from the early 90's. I had quite a collection of those, of course... I would have only been 5 in 1992, so you can pretty much guess what kind of shape they are in. Looking back on them now, it was a really solid line of figures. I wish mine were still a little more "in tact". I also had (still have) the Gen. 2 "Beast Wars" Transformers. To me.... Optimus Prime will always be a Gorilla first and a semi second. (Transformers fans flame away at will for that comment ) ~Kyle

I've got boxes upon boxes of Star Wars, Turtles, Star Trek, wrestling, and X-Men figures.
