"the big train song" is actually Lonely Train by Black Stone Cherry, I actually enjoy this song, big fan of Black Stone Cherry. Worst ever would have to be Money In The Bank though.

any song that was exclusive to the game that involved them singing about wrestling.... Madden 04 tried it and that was just as horrible.... game play was good though....

The Day of Reckoning soundtracks were better. "The Angle" by Core, "Firefly" and "Polyamorous" by Breaking Benjamin, "Can't Stop" by Prething, "Burn It All" and "Beyond Recall" by A Dark Halo...yes.
Honestly, I didn't LOVE SD! VS. RAW 2007's soundtrack, but I could definitely tolerate it.

Seriously, why the hell don't they just do that, and instead of spending money to put in shit songs, fill it with some themes WE ACTUALLY WANT!!! i.e. nWo, Cactus Jack, etc

ALL OF THEM! The only songs that I've ever enjoyed from the SmackDown! series is from WWE SmackDown! vs RAW and that would be the Powerman 5000 songs.

I HATE Bullet with a Name. Just very stupid. Remember WCW Nitro on the playstation. In the menu and player select screen it played Nitro's opening theme(which was awesome at the time) and it also played the nWo theme as well. Why can't THQ just do that? Play some random wrestler theme in the menu instead of that other crap.

It's hard to choose but Money In The Bank is sooo lame that I can't help but love it, me and my friends like to sing it at random times Haha! Me too. Except we use it as a kind of idiotic rebuttal. Someone makes a point about whatever we're talking about only to be met with - "Oh yeah.. well I got money... money in the bank." |

Just about all of them in 2007's. I got so pissed that I'd just turn the volume all the way down. That bullet with a name song drove me insane. I normally like to hear what's going on, but between that damn song and the recycled commentary from 2006's...I didn't mind not hearing what was going on.
That one song = the same amount of annoying as the Back to the Future music for the NES. Whoever came up with crap like that should be drug out into the street and shot.

umm sorry to ruin the party but I liked pretty much all the music on the video games.. the "big train" song everyone is talking about.. that is by Black Stone Cherry I think they are a great band.. and the "bullet with a name on it" song is by Nonpoint.. they did an awesome cover of "in the air tonight" but I love all kinds of music I'm not so picky.. I really liked the music on Day of Reckoning too I remember they had Firefly by Breaking Benjamin I dont remember the rest.. it was kind of limited though so they played the same songs over and over

it was kind of limited though so they played the same songs over and over And this is the biggest problem with the Smackdown game soundtracks, as you get to hear "HEET HAWMP STREET STAWMP YA DON'T WANT WAHH" or "BULLETWITHANAMEONIT!!" approximately every eight minutes... while having "Bang Bang" or "Lonely Train" in between. Even if some of the songs technically aren't as bad as others, I can only take so much generic rock before it gets annoying. |
