Well, it's a sad thing to hear. She'll definitely be missed.

The Fabolous Moolah, despite how it looked nowadays, did bring respect to women's wrestling. RIP Moolah, and remember... you thankfully weren't the one who gave birth to a hand...

Well that sucks. From what I understand she was women's wrestling for like 40 or 50 years, and, although not always well-received in these type of places, provided some quality comic relief for the last decade.
RIP

To the namesake of my screen name ("Spiderlady"), rest in peace. You are part of a wonderful but sadly disappearing line of wonderful female wrestlers.

Goodbye Moolah. You have always been and will always be one of my favorite woman wrestlers that ever laced up a pair of boots. What you have done in the world of PRO Wrestling will never be matched. Not in this lifetime or any other lifetime. I am grateful and thankful that I was able to meet you several times and witness some great matches with you. EVERY so called "diva wrestler" would be a billion times better if they would study and learn from what you did. And if they did that. They still could never be as good as you were.
God bless ya Moolah. Now get up there and kick Freddie in the pants!

We lost a true pioneer and legend. The Fabulous Moolah is why women's wrestling even exists today. Not just in the WWE, but in TNA, ROH, SHIMMER, and other feds all over the world.
She was involved with the business until the very end, and she lived a long, and I assume happy life.
RIP Moolah.

and to answer the question how did she die? I'm assuming being 84 had a lot to do with it. I haven't heard that she had health problems. Sometimes people just die. still sad though.

Moolah got the "Melancholy Happy Trails" on PTI tonight. Both Wilbon and Kornheiser had fond memories of watching her on TV. The rare classy mention of a wrestler on ESPN.

WWE Raw just ran a brief history short subject of her wrestling career that spanned many decades. I didn't know that she was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame!
