I don't blame WWE, the guy saw that coming from a light-year away...
On the other hand, they hired him for his physique, and when he came back, smaller, from his suspension, he was made fun of on live tv. That's not a smart move to enforce a wellness policy I think.
Masters was dumb to "get" caught, but he's more like a victim of the system.

Geez, this was unexpected. Oh well, look for him on the indies. Now we can yell "You got fired!" and feel good about ourselves

Yeah, but they're all stars and have some wrestling talent. Masters, like Test, has a big physique but isn't a star or a good wrestler. The negatives outweigh the benefits. Still, he's not a terrible wrestler, really. He'll probably just go to Japan. A lot of big men make a killing there. Yeah, I could see that doing a lot of good for him. He seems like a decent guy with a good head for the business in the few interviews I've read. I get that he broke the policy and the WWE is well within their rights to release him, but I doubt that he's done anything that Lashley or Batista hasn't. He just happened to be the low man on the totem pole and paid for it.

Yeah, when HHH made fun of him for being smaller, that didn't go over so well in Chris's mind I would imagine.

Also, it was extremely stupid to have him come out, obvious to everyone that he was less muscular and a lot smaller, and have his original "on roids" titan tron entrance. Sort of like a "Hey fans, Here is what he used to look like!" Dumb asses....

In alot of ways i think it's ashame really, It's his own fault but it's obvious the WWE really wanted this guy to be big (Not in the roid kind of way). For some reason i can see him being rehired somewhere down the line.

Damn! What a shame. I hope he comes back when he gets his mind straight. He had some potential. If its anything I learned from wrestling its never say never.

TWICE. victim my ass. he's weak Are you by chance a WWE Superstar? Masters didn't hit the gym to lose weighy, but to become a bodybuilder/wrestler. To get noticed he "had" to improve his physique and hence took steroids. And was hired by WWE because of his looks, not because of his skills. When he came back from the suspension, instead of being given a program, any program, he was the butt of a D-X's joke because he looked smaller. What kind of responsible approach is that by a company who was and is in big troubles for steroid abuse? Sure, nobody forced Masters to take steroids after the first suspension, but the message that WWE passed was "ahahah he's smaller than he used to be, he's worthless now"

Damn, I liked Masters.
I do hope he gets rehired down the line. As has been said from interviews it seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders. Also you could tell from his matches, that he wasn't phoning it in.
But this means Masters can't get revenge on Santino for always beating him with a rollup, and we won't see a blowoff match to the Super Crazy Masters feud.

Bummer I hope he does well in wherever he goes next. I really liked his entrance...before they chopped it all up.

I have been bitching about this for a while.
How come Chavo got a sixty day suspension and not Masters?

I have been bitching about this for a while. How come Chavo got a sixty day suspension and not Masters? Initially Masters got a 60 day suspension too. But apparently something happened and plans changed.
