The Ladder Match is a must get in my opinion. And I also would reccomend the Pillman set and Bloodsport: ECW's Most Violent matches 2 disc set.

The Ladder match DVD is a must buy, IMO. I'd say the Flair and the Horsemen DVD and the Piper DVDs were pretty good, too, but most of the guys were in character and just too much kayfabe at times{Arn Anderson, I'm looking at you}. Pillman's DVD was awesome, the guy overcame so many odds, just makes you sad that he passed away so young.

The Ladder Match (3 Disc Series)--Great DVD with lots of good match. A must buy.
WWE: Before They Were Superstars--Haven't seen it. Looks like it wouldn't be that good.
WWE: The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior--Haven't seen it, but it should be funny.
WWE: History of the WWE Championship (3-Disc Series)--A very good DVD. It's a shame there wasn't a lot of matches from the 1990s. They shouldn't have put the Iron Man match on the DVD. It's not that it's a bad match; it just takes up a lot of space. Other than that, it's good, especially for the 1980s and 2000s matches. I recommend it.
WWE: Road Warriors (2-Disc Series)--Haven't seen it, but it looks good.
WWE: The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection (3-Disc Set)--I so BADLY want to see it.
WWE: Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology (3-Disc Set)--Haven't seen it, but it looks good.
WWE: McMahon (2-Disc Series)--Not bad. It was better than I thought it would be, but it is bias as all f***. There's a lot of rewriting of history in it. But, I would recommend it.
WWE: Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story (2-Disc Set)--It's a good DVD, but it's hard to watch considering what happened to Benoit. The documentary was good, and there are a lot of good matches. I would recommend it but only if you feel up for it.
WWE: 'Cause Stone Cold Said So--This is a great look at Stone Cold when the gimmick first started. It has the Submission Match with Bret Hart, shows Stone Cold causing all sorts of mayhem, and a lot of good promos from when he became Stone Cold. Hell, even the credits are fantastic. I highly recommend it if you can find it.
WWE: From the Vault: Shawn Michaels (2-Disc Series)--Haven't seen it, but I would like to. Hopefully, when Shawn's new DVD comes out, this will be with it at certain stores, like Wal-Mart.

have there ever been any wwe dvds ya havent liked too me i didnt love pipers and dustys was on the dissapointing side too Monday Night Wars nWo Back in Black Degeneration X (they censored it) The Rock Just Bring It Stone Cold Truth I'll never understand why WWE's Funniest Moments never gets listed in the worst dvds. It's truly a catastrophe. They've had so much great comedy over the years, and they spend all their time on crap like Mideon raping a thanksgiving turkey. I mean the disc wasn't all bad, but it should've been wall to wall gold. Especially on only one disc. God. They didn't just drop the ball on that one, they dropped the ball into a volcano and threw a nuclear weapon at it.

But I do agree that they could have put so much more stuff.

Hmm... I may have a different WWE Dusty Rhodes 3 disc set, but I could have sworn that mine does that... yep, it does. Edit: But then again, I did get mine from Wal Mart... maybe it was exclusive? I dunno... but my DVD does definitely do that sound bite thing. mine talks too Mmm. No fair! Mine is the Silvervision British version that I got from their website - so perhaps the talking cover was only for the American version? Having a Dusty dvd that doesn't talk when other people's do - now that's hard times.

It's pretty funny to bust up on people out of nowhere. The most common reaction is "....ok...and what the hell is that?"
The ones that don't talk, are they in a plastic case, or like cardboard back?

Out of those, the Flair one. Though there are several up there that are worth a watch.

I think Piper's and Dusty's were both fantastic, although I was annoyed that the button press Dusty sound bite cover rumour was not true. Imagine the ability to press a button and instantly hear "funky like a monkey" or "hard times" or "wine and dine with kings and queens". Opportunity missed. Of the options you gave I would recommend the Self Destruction of the Warrior, but the Bret Hart dvd, the Undertaker dvd and the Monday Night Wars should all be considered. The New and Improved DX dvd should also be considered, but only becasuse I am on it doing an interview. "When you combine Shawn Michaels and Triple H, two of the best in the history of the business, it is going to connect with the fans in a really big way." As a genius once said. Actually, the sound bite rumor was true. At the walmart in my home town they sold dvds that had the sound bite buttons on them. Maybe the store you bought it from removed the cover?

I've only seen the Flair and part of the Hogan one, but the Flair one was insanely awesome. I'm working through the Hogan one and it's good. The Hogan one so far is just some brief setups on his matches followed by the matches. Some discussion of his career as well. It flows pretty well, I just haven't gotten around to finishing it.

I liked RVD's and both Rey Mysterio DVDs. The first John Cena was entertaining. Most of the multi disk releases by WWE are good. I am very much looking forward to TNA Year One coming soon.

I'll have to go with the Ric Flair collection, with the Ladder Matches DVD a close second, simply because the Flair DVD has Royal Rumble 92. My fave match ever...
