Is that the proper term for these things? I don't know. But the title is pretty self explanatory. Post some of your favorite big match hype vids. There are plenty floating around DM and youtube that I know of. Seriously, I love these things. Can make a match seem really epic if done right. Randy Orton vs Triple H from Unforgiven 2004 is one of my favorites. I know they botched Orton's face turn horribly following his title loss, but in the month between Summerslam and Unforgiven he was total gold IMO. |

Wow. That video was awesome. I hd forgotten how much Orton pwned HHH before he lost the title. Spitting in HHH's face and hitting him with the belt was just fantastic.
It's sad what Randy has become these days. What a waste.

I thought the "Glacier" videos hyping his premiere in WCW in 1996 were cool; but alas, my "blood ran cold" of his gimmick within minutes after his first TV appearance.

I liked Austin vs. Rock from WM 17 and Angle vs. Austin from Summer Slam the same year. Great Hype videos and great matches too.

I believe it was Over The Edge '98--the infamous "Evil Empire" video. Frickin' BRILLIANT.
And the video for Fully Loaded '99, the build-up to the First Blood End Of An Era match was good stuff, too.

How come NOBODY remembers the incredible "Coming soon" videos for Edge?? Summer 1998, these awesome black and red promos of Edge hanging around the streets of NYC would air. Beating up strangers, hanging out on trains and subways, walking in the rain, while sinister techno music played and a woman recited poetry:
