Lita, Trish, and Molly are all off the Alumni page as well. Strange.

This just in : All female talent has been removed from the WWE's website and roster, after a disgruntled WWE Superstar threatened to take the company to court over "equal rights" issues.
Shannon Moore, who wrestles with the company under the name "Shannon Moore", explains:
"I have been working for the company for a number of years now, and had reached the kind of level that someone of my build, talent and overall expertise is expected to. Knowing full well that I have more to offer than the company fully appreciates, I applied to join the ranks of the Divas. I filled the application form in, and handed it over to Human Resources, hoping for the best. I was crushed however to discover that my application had been denied, due to gender issues. I could have lied on the application form, and ticked the box marked 'female', but instead I was fully open and honest, and this is how I get treated."
Former WWE Superstar, Sean O'Haire had this to say:
"In this day and age, it is frankly appalling that the WWE should be implementing a 'no dick Diva' policy. In ring and promo skills should be the yardstick by which a wrestler is measured, not their possession, or rather lack of, a penis. But then I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know."
Former WWE wrestler, and failed Diva Big Vito had this to say:
"Who the smurf are you people and what the smurf are you doing on my lawn?"
We called Vince McMahon to ask him his opinion on the matter. But he wasn't there.

Everything related to the Divas disappeared from the website on Friday. Their superstars section, all their personal pages, the women's championship, even Trish Lita and Molly Holly are gone from the Alumni page. Nobody knows what it's about.

MISSING WWE DIVAS UPDATE by Dave Scherer @ 12:20:42 PM on 11/12/2007
Late last week, almost all coverage of the WWE divas disappeared from the company website. We have been inundated with emails asking what happened. I have been trying to find out what the scoop is but so far, there is a lot of confusion about what is going on.
WWE.com now falls directly under the auspices of the creative department. They approve all of the content that runs on the site. In talking to a person in creative, I was told that as far as he/she knows there was no directive to remove the divas from the site. They are an important and highly trafficked area of WWE.com (which I completely believe since it was also a huge part of the old ECW website that I ran many years ago), just as they are in the company's storylines.
The story I have been told is that the removal of the divas from the site was not something that creative wanted to do and there is some kind of behind the scenes issue that the company is trying to work out pertaining to the divas on the site. We will post more on this story when we get it.

I know, I was looking for pics of Cherry from last night's Smackdown! and for a second I thought she'd been wished well in her future endeavors. Until I too noticed that all the divas are missing! So long and thank's for all the fish odor. (too far?)
