If UT wrote everything shoot (as in no kayfabeness), then yes I would buy it with bells and whistles on.

If Taker wrote a book, I would buy it, but it would have to be non kayfabe. It would be neat to find out how he became so respected. I read once in Kurt Angle's biography that Vince and Angle were wrestling on an airplane(?) and Taker was sleeping. They woke him up and he thought that Angle was attacking vince so he reacted and grabbed angle's throat(?) It has actually been awhile since I read Angle's biography but I remember something to that effect mentioned in his book. Has anyone else read Angle's bio and can fill in the blanks?

Depends. If it's completely honest ala Bret Hart or Jericho, sure. If it's something like the Bischoff book where it feels desensitized, no thanks.

Not really.
It just seems like a pretty dull read to me. He's a guy who spent most of his career playing an undead/zombie/wrestler/biker...that hardly seems like a compelling read to me.

If there was no ghost writer. I just hate the ghost written books (which is most wwe stuff)

I can't imagine WWE trying to release an autobiography i kayfabe. That sort of stuff was twenty years ago. I think if one was released, it would be realeased as an autobiography, out of kayfabe. WWE might do something similar to what they did with Kane, as in create a book explaining the back story, but that wouldn't be oushed as an autobiography, so you would know what you were getting into.
But if Taker released a book, he seems to me like a guy that is so respectful of the business, that we wouldn't get much info in terms of stuff happening backstage. It would mostly be about his feuds and matches (as well as the normal personal stuff). I just can't imagine him writing a book about reading scripts for promos, or figuring out match outcomes. Just doesn't seem like his thing

Not even a question for me. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Taker is so private and has protected his character so well through the years. Once he retires, I'd love to hear his stories about his life growing up, stories about life on the road in wrestling, and a glimpse into his personal life. I think it'd be a great read because no one really knows anything about him. I hope he writes one. My thoughts exactly. ;D

As long as the first chapter doesn't deal with how he died and was brought back as an undead avenging angel, yeah it'd be cool.
"Satan brought me back to create havoc on the mortal plane. And wrestle."

If it's in kayfabe, no. I have many a DVD to tell Taker's tale.
Now if it's a legit, by God, first hand account of Mark Calloways' life as the Undertaker, then hell yeah.

Sure. Undertaker has done worked shoots in character, and I'm assuming that's how it would be written.

If it was out of kayfabe, sure. But because it's WWE the book would most definately be in Kayfabe.
"Chapter 1: I faced Yokozuna. he put me in Casket. I rose to hevean. I returned at Summerlsam and faced myself.
Chapter 2: I faced Giant Gonsalez.
Chapter 3: I faced my brother Kane, whom i burnt when we were kids and he always resented me for it. so he put me in a casket and burnt the casket. but i wasnt inside the casket when they opened it later. then i returned and beat him. i beat him good.
Chapter 4: Mick Foley.......whose Mick Foley.
Chapter 5: I ain't talking about the plane, ok?
Chapter 6: I faced Randy Orton. he put me in a casket and burnt the casket. but i wasnt inside the casket when they opened it later. then i returned and beat him. i beat him good.
Chapter 7: His dad has aids.
Chapter 8: Seriously.
Chapter 9: Aids.
Bonus Chapter: REST........IN...........PEACE!!!!
The End"
Pulitser Please.

I'm curious about everything involving the Ministry and where it all came from. I know he had a DVD not done in kayfabe during his biker years. The only mention of the Ministry is where he simply rolled his eyes in disgust over it.
A kayfabe book could lead to Hogan-like delusions where he Tombstoned Hogan in front of the [second] largest Survivor Series in WWE history. And Hulkamania died three days later.

So long as it's written from the perspective of Mark Callaway, not the Undertaker. A book written in kayfabe wouldn't be as good as a real life one.
For some reason, I see a kayfabe autobio of Taker....

A kayfabe book could lead to Hogan-like delusions where he Tombstoned Hogan in front of the [second] largest Survivor Series in WWE history. And Hulkamania died three days later. Like most people who've posted I'd certainly be interested in an honest Foley like book by Undertaker on his life and career. I'd like to read about him drinking with this guy (don't know if he does or not that's just an example) or that guy was a piece of crap. But that line there sold me on the idea of an in character book as well. Hogan esque dillusions make everything more fun.
