Yeah, I see something like that happening too. At first I thought they'd set-up a HBK-Vince coalition at SS when I read that Vince stopped Orton from punting Shawn, but after I've seen the video and with the way Shawn was going to superkick Vince, I'm thinking HBK will get thisclose to winning but then Vince will screw him over. Heel Shawn is the PERFECT foil for the return of Chris Jericho. Jericho and Michaels have unfinished business from their feud from Wrestlemania where Jericho was the heel. It would be Canada v HBK after another screwjob. Plus Michaels is one of the few stars big enough and few guys that can keep up with Jericho on the mic for his debut. HBK Save Yourself As far as hints and conspiracy theories go, HBK can't use Sweet Chin Music. Vince gives Shawn a title shot out of no where after hating and feuding with Shawn. Vince then mentioned Shawn's black heart and how he hated Orton (Shawn also hated Bret). Shawn then pulls back from kicking Vince. Remember Vince's conversation that he wanted D-X to reunite and things always work out how he wants. The first screwjob occured when HBK was a member of D-X. Fast forward to tonight. Vince stops Orton from kicking HBK in the head, which would have been disasterous for a previously concussed Shawn. Also lets not forget Shawn's own referrences to "a submission move" and the fact that this is the 10th anniversary. I see a repeat of the screwjob happening. Vince saying that Orton is banned from RAW and if he shows up will be fired. He explains that Randy screwed Randy. Randy's obsession with being a legend killer cost Vince money. When he put Shawn on the shelf, put Cena on the shelf, and ended the career of RVD, he selfishly took money out of Vince's pockets. The WWE can't have an out of control champion, and while he doesn't like Shawn, has to admit that it was a good business decision. HBK talks for a bit, and then we all get saved from the corruption of Vince and Shawn by our hero. This plants the seeds for a Jericho/HBK feud, Jericho feuds with someone else to shake the ring rust, and HBK feuds with Orton. All of this leads to the big money Wrestlemania rematch between HBK and Jericho That's a brilliant idea, however, it would--after all--require Shawn to job to Jericho at WM for the title. CLEAN. Do you honestly see that happening?

Another example of someone from the IWC who can write this stuff better than the guys Vince is (over)paying to write this stuff. That's exactly how it should go down. Which is exactly why it won't.

I called that in my mind around 9:30 or so, whenever they showed that promo. I'd like a reaction shot of Bret Hart just sadly shaking his head. Teddy Hart's next to him on the couch, eatin' popcorn and yelling, "Aw, change the channel, Grandpa!" I think Teddy climbed to the top of the TV and then did a backflip off of it for no reason. Sadly, he landed on Harry Smith's used syringes. Just to no-sell the needles, he climbed on something higher and did a backflip off of that. I agree, he totally forgot the moonsaults.

Shawn locks in the sharpshooter, lights go out, Lights back on- Bret has the sharpshooter locked on Shawn, he taps your new WWE champion Bret"The Hitman"Hart If that happened I would have to change my shorts due to my happy reaction. In all honesty. I don't think there will be any type of screw job. I think they are trying to get people to think that there will be. then nope suckers

This plants the seeds for a Jericho/HBK feud, Jericho feuds with someone else to shake the ring rust, and HBK feuds with Orton. All of this leads to the big money Wrestlemania rematch between HBK and Jericho I absolutely love this idea. I was waiting for something to happen when Vince said he wanted DX to reunite...only for it to go off without a hitch, something just seemed unfinished. It's also good because it generates a large, overunning story, which haven't been too common lately. (Not WWE's fault of course because of the limo and son being ruined) It ended up being Cena going from month to month feuding with someone else, which no other reason than they won the no.1 contenders match. Back when they were drawing huge ratings, there was real feeling, a huge reason to hate the other guy in the main event, not just because they had the title, but because of something else, something deeper. This sets it up. The only problem I can see is that the fans will confuse this as a Vince face turn. The other problem is that it is once again Vince vs another wrestler with his chosen champ, which has been done too many times. Also, does Orton turn? Do the fans cheer him because Vince rips into him? The other reason I like it is because it totally makes sense for Vince to want the title off of Orton, because he cost him money. I love the idea, but I think it needs to end with a new stable forming, instead of it just being Vince and one other. It has been done too much. A new top stable forming always generates buzz though, and gives the main event picture a significant feel. Perhaps Shawn leads a heel stable. The idea is brillaint though, because it has taken into account all the hints that have been dropped and meant that the story has had build up and reasoning. I like Cena, but it certainly is better than him going from month to month feuding with the new number one contender, who loses, only to allow another tournament winner in. Ends up being repetitive with no depth.

Alternately, this could happen:
They announced that Save Us 222 will be revealed on Monday. They made it clear it's Jericho. Knowing that, none of us tune into Survivor Series. No one but the crowd knows what happens.

HBK won't turn heel, this will never happen. It will be more likely the other way around with Orton putting the Sharpshooter on HBK and Vince ringing the bell.

That would be a bad idea. Only because it would make Orton a babyface. And we all know how well that worked in 2004
