I think he'll stick around. The book doesn't even cover his WWE career

Ugh, that is sooo a Smark way of thinking. I hate that the term "smark" has mutated into something it was never intended to be. Whoever coined it needs to coin another phrase to describe the phenomenon you're speaking of because the term smark doesn't mean that. So many people on this board have turned being a Smark into some kind of social pariah, when in reality, based on the true intended meaning of the term, THEY ALL ARE SMARKS THEMSELVES. If you know that wrestling is predetermined, has certain politics that come into play, yet, still watch it and buy ppv's, dvds, and merchandise, you're a Smark. The end. The type of people you're talking about are the ones who purposely and maliciously hate things for no rational reason other than to rebel against popular trends, out of some silly need to go against the grain. They need a term that they can be lumped into. Because Smark is not what they are. That said, to reply to the original poster's statement. I think the fact Jericho (in interviews) has said when he returns he'll embark on a full-time WWE touring schedule, means that he's in this thing for a while. Guys intent on only working part-time don't do house shows and International Tours. When was the last time Foley worked a block of house shows as a wrestler? I assure you that I am not trying to be edgy or different. I just don't want to see another disappointing return. Yeah his tour is over but he was supposed to debut weeks ago, remember? Face it the return was originally planned for self promotion.

That's not how this works. You don't get to throw a baseless accusation out without proof and then require everyone else to prove why it's not true.

Seeing as WWE didn't put out the book I don't think they'd actually promote, pluse from what I've heard it's doing really well without there promotion.

baseless accusation my ass, where was Jericho before the book? Not in WWE and not wrestling. He couldnt make it as an actor so he went down what has been such a cliche route and wrote a book. Now he is back in WWE. The save us promos had a much earlier date, my proof.
If they mention his book one time I win this arguement.

He doesn't even talk about WWE in his book. This isn't like Mick Foley the media whore.

I can't enjoy it. I am not a sheep and I am not falling for their crap. Jericho is not coming back for anyone but himself.
And what happens after he gets "spent" again? he will just leave and forget about all of you guys again. You will all post about what could have been and I will be glad to see him leave.

You should stop watching wrestling then. No offense, but if he is coming back for one reason or another, he's still Jericho. A ratings spike is a ratings spike. Why watch WWE if you expect to be dissapointed?

I may have jumped the gun a little bit but look at the the thread it created, some awesome back and forth discussion albeit against me but a decent thread IMO.

The negativity in this thread makes my head want to explode.
WHY do you people have to ruin everything for yourselves? You're not ruining it for me, I'll be glad to see Chris back on my TV screen. But why are you ruining it for you? It just seems so...pointless.
