They actually acknowledged Maven not belonging on the team. They did some interviews and promos with him talking about how it was a chance to prove himself and stuff. And regarding Snitsky, I remember even Evolution didn't want him at first. When they announced the team, it went something like: Bischoff: The team is Triple H... Triple H: Yeah Bischoff: Batista Triple H and Batista: Yeah Bischoff: Edge Triple H and Batista: Uh, okay. Yeah, whatever. That's cool. Bischoff: And the final member...... Triple H and Batista: *Smiling and pointing at Flair. Bischoff: Snitsky! Triple H, Batista and Flair: WTF?

John Morrison/Nitro. It's been pretty good so far. True, I was curious because Maven got a lot of hype from Tough Enough, but it never actually seemed to get him over as a character. Well his character was more or less HEY he won tough enough... even years after tough enough went off the air

Well his character was more or less HEY he won tough enough... even years after tough enough went off the air Which would be why it was barely mentioned with any other contestant/winner who then all got characters/gimmicks... even Jackie Gayda as Rico's beard. Best thing about Maven was his theme music.

How many of the guys from Tough Enough actually had successful careers? Nowinski did, but his success was more related to medical expertise than the wrestling career itself. Morrison, Miz, and Matt Morgan have been doing pretty well.

from what i remember maven had a very good title match against HHH the night after the survivor series
the survivor series match was very interesting IMO because of the stipulation (each members of the winning team would win a week as GM of raw because bischoff was on vacation) that's when they started to drop hints of the batista face turn, so you knew every member of HHH's team wasn't really on his side but was fighting for a title match that was some good booking
and babykiller snitsky was still somewhat entertaining

I wish he did I remember people on here saying how Maven was going to join Evolution. People were clamoring for this man. I remember thinking, "Maven?" Funny thing is that he jobs for many, many months. Then, he shows up with Benoit, Orton and the other faces against Evolution. The next week he wears a silk shirt with the collar wide open and everyone thinks he's a main eventer. Still, I was watching the TV and saying, "Maven?" Finally, trying to be like the Rock finally got to him and he faded to oblivion.

I still remember Snitsky screaming like a little girl when he took out Maven backstage. It was hilarious.
Oh, and of course the dead crowd when Maven came back and made his "huge" comeback.

I think Maven was in the match because Snitsky was as well. You know, to even out the rookie jobber factor on each team. Fixed for accuracy.
