In honor of the survivor series being well tommorrow, I was wondering just which traditional survivor series you think was the best or which one really stands out in your mind as being bad. for me my favorites have been the opening one from survivor series 1993 where marty jannety and the 1-2-3 kid were the only survivors and in 2003 where john cena nad chris benoit were the only survivors for team brock... actually 2003 was very good because it also had team austin vs. team bischoff which was incredible

Survivor Series 1989. The Rude Brood (Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Fabulous Rugeaus w/the Genius and Jimmy Hart) vs. Roddy's Rowdies (Piper, Snuka, Bushwackers). Perfect wins, which was awesome.

The 1990 Survivor Series was my favorite of the whole lot. It would of been just about as close to perfect as you could get if not for the Gooker bit.
First they shot down 10 minutes on the gooker thing, plus they gave The Macho King at least a 5 minute interview. I thought it was odd that Savage did not do anything for the rest of the night after the interview.
Because of these two segments the Alliance/Mercenaries match sucked and the grand finale could of used another 5 minutes.
What I found unique about the 1993 Survivor Series is that I think it is the only ppv where Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty both competed on the card, and Marty Jannetty won his match while Shawn lost his. Every other time Michaels was winning while Jannetty would loose.

1987-1990 are my favorites, with 90 being my #1 favorite. It was classic SS matches, teams against teams, things started going downhill once they began using SS as just another ppv to push title changes. I felt what made Survivor Series so important was that it helped end and keep stories going. Most of the time the feuds continued on after the ppv.

The 10 on 10 Survivor Series match at '88 was very good. It was given more than enough time (I think 45 mins approx), considering the number of tag teams and amount of talent in there.
I would imagine the '87 10 on 10 match was good as well, but they never released the DVD in the UK.

I loved the one where Bret Hart seemingly hung on by inches, only to be outdone by DiBiase in 1990. The 1995 Wildcard match was very enjoyable too.

Rude Brood vs. Roddy's Rowdies Piper vs. Flair (1991) Royals vs. 2X4s Perfect Team vs. the Warriors Hulk Hogan vs. Andre (1987) Grand Finale Match (1990) I wish we could see this once in a while.
All of these can be found on YouTube. Avoind Survivor Series 1988 (with the exception of the ten team tag) since all of the matches have been chopped bup by Colloseum.

I loved the teamn names they use to have. And it seemed some time to just team up random people for it and yet they were so excited to be on the same team.
That and whatever team the Bushwackers would be on because they were always eating turkey
