Yeah, remixing Minor Threat is a horrible, HORRIBLE idea. I am quite impressed by so many people here knowing Minor Threat. Makes me feel an ounce better about the world. Yeah, AFI isn't really "punk" by any stretch of the word at this point. And Throwdown is a terrible band. BUT I DIGRESS... CM Punk really should be coming out to "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne. Throwdown? Terrible band?  !! |

Uggh these straightedge threads. 1st. Early AFI is punk/hardcore. AFI has straightedge members, and at one time might have been a straightedge band. 2nd. The vocalist of Killswitch is Straightedge. 3rd. I highly doubt Minor Threat would sell out one of their most popular songs to the WWE. Sometimes I wish the word "straightedge" never came near a wrestling show.. .. ladies and gentleman, Straightedge Bob! the leading atourity on everything sXe!!! yay... i cant bring myself to call ANY afi punk or hardcore. maybe its just because i'm biased and i hate that band more than anything. but yeah. thats my dot oh two |

Ok fine I'll concede Miseria Carnate (even though AFI can be considered more Alt-rock than punk rock by some), but not Night Train, because that was a one-shot. Punk also used Ole by the Bouncing Souls for some of his non-roh indy work. Dear God if he used that theme in wwe....... Ole... That song could get Rob Conway over. |

I really like Punk's Killswitch Engage theme, to me it just fits and works for him. Even if it's not what like he used before, I think it fits his character well.
