Here we go, another "make all the black guys in WWE a new Nation just because they're all black" idea. MVP is too egotistical to form a true alliance with anyone (the one with Hardy was a scheme). Just cause he's black doesn't mean he fits with Benjamin and Burke.

I love the black wrestlers. Yeah, Big Daddy V is pretty hot. <3

MVP with Burke? Sure.
No Shelton, Shelton isn't allowed to bring them down.

Hey, while we're at it why don't we throw Big Daddy V, Bobby Lashely, and Ron Simmons into the faction, too? Hopefully they can bring back D-Lo Brown and even The Godfather, too! Ooh! And maybe they can bring in Butch Reed and have Slick as the mouthpiece of the group! Man, a faction this full of awesome would be too much for a single show, so then we'd have to give them their own show to be on, and ooh! Maybe their own PPV's too?

why? because they are all black? Hey, we didn't say reform the Nation. They just all have "athlete" gimmicks of sorts. How about "Varsity Vain"? Anyway, it's been a stable I've been a fan of in concept for some time. I don't think it'd really drag MVP down, because they aren't as high on the card as he is. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

The idea sounds good in theory, but MVP's star is rising a lot higher than Elijah and Shelton.
It would work if you were to turn them into a black Team Angle (with MVP as the captain), but it would mean giving less mic time to Burke and Shelton (since they'd be the cronies), so that would be wasting talent.
Plus, Vince would most likely make them NOD 2007. That wouldn't be so good.

To be fair, these three have similar gimmicks, in that they're "superior athletes". It's not liek they said to toss in V, Mark Henry, and Boogeyman.

The three of them have a lot more in common than just the fact that they are all black. They are all billed as talented athletes. They are all billed as egotistical heels. They are all (or at least two were and one once was) billed as future greatness. And frankly, they are all quite talented in the ring.
And I can see three being a crowd, and dragging MVP's fast rising star down. But again, if he was billed as the leader of the group, and thusly did most of the mic work, it could potentially help advance him. And again, the image I had in mind was something like The Freebirds. Shelton and Elijah would, for the most part, be a tag team act, while MVP would continue to pursue singles matches. They would do promo's and backstage segments together, and some occasional six man tag matches. And sometimes, to help get all three of them over as a heel team, MVP would substitute for either Elijah or Shelton to defend the tag titles while the announcers whine about how the opposing team had no time to prepare for this new combo because they were expecting Shelton and Elijah. But for the most part, it would be Shelton/Elijah and MVP acting separately, while sometimes intersecting.

All they really need is a Bobby Knight looking manager.

I would rather they bring in Charlie Haas and maybe one or two others and call it the World's Greatest Stable.

No.
I think he should hook up with Mickie James. I mean.... that's who I'd go for if I was in the 'E.

Replace MVP with Kenny and it's gold. MVP needs to be on his own, though. Plus, with Kenny you remove the race factor. Kenny has the "great athlete" gimmick too.
