Pro wrestling does not neccesarialy need a boom to be interesting. I have always said that the 1980s NWA was my favorite wrestling product because it had great fueds, had wrestling factions and there was a perfect blend of brawling and technical wrestling. The first thing the WWE needs to do today is teach their wrestlers the art of ring psychology and how to connect to the crowds. Then the WWE (gasp) needs to bring back the concept of jobbing to actually develop a hierechy of which wrestlers are actually challengers for various titles. How can wrestlers truly distinguish themselves from the rest of the pack when you have the same two guys wrestling each other week after week after week just trading wins and losses. It does nothing to enhance the product on a longterm basis.
