Does anyone know if the wwe is going to do a Tribute to the troops show this year? I always like those shows because i'm a mark for outdoor shows, and even though theres usually no outstanding matches, its a nice thing for the troops (as well as letting them say hello to their families). Plus,l i just want to see how MVP would pull off his entrance and what ring attire he'd wear (would you wear that outfit in the desert under a burning sun?). However, the wwe has changed so much in this year alone that it may not be on their list of priorities.

I should think they would do a show this year. Is there a reason why they shouldn't?

Yes, there will be. They should be shipping out in the next 2 weeks or so.

I think JBL said recently that they're going out to do it in the next couple of weeks.

The WWE in Iraq shows are the only good piece of publicity that they continually get, they'd be stupid not to....

I haven't heard anything about it this year, but I hope that it happens. Not only is it great publicity for WWE, its just a really great thing to do.

Plus,l i just want to see how MVP would pull off his entrance and what ring attire he'd wear (would you wear that outfit in the desert under a burning sun?). Its not that hot this time of year in Iraq. March through September sucks though.

That may have been an exaggeration, but Its definitely not in the 90's out there.

I heard the WWE is planning to stage a fake 'attack' on the camp while the wrestling show is going on. HHH and HBK strongly pushed for this, claiming that it will 'excite the troops, giving them a memory they will never forget'.
Thoughts?

Last year some sort of explosive went off about 40 yards from the ring. No one remembers this?

I'm pretty sure their announcers, who are very patriotic, use the Fahrenheit scale when referring to temperature.

I kinda wish they would stop, especially after they were nearly bombed last trip.
