I thought they were pretty cool in the early and mid-nineties, but by the late nineties they were already stale and broken down.
And yeah, I totally see the Bebop and Rocksteady resemblance.

Nasty Boys had their "best" moment in WWF as transitional champions in 1991 and then what else? They have no reasons whatsoever to act like pompous asses in 2007. I'm happy they won't be back What he said

Be-Bop and Rock Steady, LMAO!!! SO true.
The best thing the Nastys did, in my opinion, was their very short-lived feud with the Steiner Brothers in 1990 WCW. It was booked so good you were looking forward to seeing a blow-off and the Steiners had the in-ring ability (boy times have changed) and could carry the two stiffs to a good match. But then the Nastys contract ran out and they went over to the F.
BTW, is it just me or did a Nasty Boys face turn seem wrong?

I'm no wrestler, but if you're big, fat and old, wouldn't working stiff with two British wrestlers be among the last things you'd want to do?

I can safely say I was NOT hoping for such a return. I would rather have my kidney stones return than to watch a Nasty Boys match again.

The Nastys are like the New Breed cept backwards. They traveled through time from the 1980's to take over the world because they have way cool trench coats and super-mullets.
THAT'S NASTY, BABY!!!

Wow, lots of Nasty Boys hate! I personally would love to see them back. We need more nostalgia in the WWE. Besides, they were a great tag team! I'm definately in the minority here though =\
I'd also love to see Demolition and the Bushwhackers return. Anmd the Rock n Roll Express too. Unfortunately, most of my other favorite tag teams either have a dead member or a member physically incapable of wrestling. No Hart Foundation or Brittish Bulldogs or LOD or even Power and Glory. No wonder Tag Team wrestling is in such a slump these days, all the good teams no longer exist. Al we have are crapified versions of the Steiner Brothers, and the past their prime Team 3D who sucked even when they were good. There are a few good newer teams, like Murdoch and Cade and Cryme Tyme and The Hardy Boys, but it just isn't enough, and with Cryme Tyme released and Matt injured, Cade and Murdoch don't have anyone elft to work a good match with. Such a shame.
London and Kendrick is also a good team, but I think of them more as 2 singles guys thrown together. Murdoch and Cade's sort of the same way, but they've been together ever since Trevor made it to the WWE. He was a great singles guy too though, and I think he may one day be WWE Champion.

Knobbs had a cane on Hogan knows best because he had recently had knee surgery at the time of the taping.

then you have questionable taste? that was the funniest thing i have read today. also i can hardly blame the WWE for refusing to keep them on if they are acting like dicks out of the ring and being too stiff and unhelpful in the ring!
