Post by Sumbody Gon' Get Dey Kneelift on Nov 25, 2007 5:52:47 GMT -5
I for one have always wanted to see an FU countered into a flipping neckbreaker-finisher. They go up and over his shoulders using his head as an axis, so I'd love it if someone just caught hold of his neck mid-flight and flipped into, for example, an RKO.
See what I'm saying?
I've also always wanted to see someone get FU'd, but then land on their feet and hit an "out of nowhere" finisher like an RKO or a Sweet Chin Music or an EdgeRunningDoomHug or a stunner, something like that, and get the pin before people have even had a chance to react.
What's one you've always wanted to see?

A RKO counter into a Back Drop Driver.
As Randy jumps, the person lifts and drops.
I think it would be impressive if pulled off.

Actually, on the ECW after the Benoit incident, Morrison did the foot-landing you mentioned, and hit Cena with an enziguri. Hell of a match that was. But you're right, that counter can be taken one notch higher. Maybe even by Morrison next time, you never know.
I think a powerbomb into a modified Sliced Bread #2 is within reason.

I always thought a headbutt low blow would have put a stop to the tombstone piledriver right quick, and wonder why no one's thought to use it. Also a rake to the eyes would be a good way to get out of a chokeslam... But then I suspend my disbelief and move on.

I remember when Triple H was running over everyone I used to want to see someone simply headbutt him in the nuts when he went for the Pedigree. I hated that thing. Unless he was wrestling someone on Rock or Austin's caliber, it was over. No counters, no struggle, no anything.

Not entirely true, he would have it countered by guys like Kane, RVD and Booker.T quite a few times, and I wouldn't consider them on the level of Rock/Austin.

The time I was referring to predated all but probably Kane of those guys. When Trips was the man.

A couple of ones which will NEVER happen, but I want to see anyway: Id love to see either of those, even though the last move is strictly banned by the WWE style.
