I ordered it from WWEShop.com
Even though it says shipping on 12/11 it's already starting to be sent out.
The documentary runs about an hour and 50 minutes. There are also 5 or 6 easter eggs on disc one.
I'm going to watch it later or tomorrow.
Just informing you that if you want it ASAP wwe.com is the easy bet.

I hate you in that woman who hates the other woman for having that new kind of sandwich Quizno's came up with kind of way.

an hour 50 sounds kinda short, but I guess I don't really know the length of the other docs. Is that usual(compared to the ECW and AWA sets)?

Most documentaries run 2 hours to 3 on average, Rise and Fall being the most thorough and entertaining. I'd like to see how this is in comparison to the other WCCW DVD that I'd like to get my hands on.

I'll get this soon. Is it better than Heroes of World Class?

I've been hearing nothing but good stuff about it. The run time sounds about right considering most of the other wwe docs run about the same amount of time.

I wanna see this one and the Spectacular Legacy of AWA one. i wish WWE had a stream site where I could just pay to stream it once. Cause I don't buy wrestling DVDs since I'm getting outta it, but still wanna see it just once.

Though it comes out a little bit later.

Well, I'd rather see them free, ya dig? Like if a friend purchased it and brought it over to watch. Or if that friend is over the internet and invited me over to watch it in their "house" (COUGHSTREAMCOUGH)

It's going to be tough to top Heroes of World Class. That was one hell of a documentary.
I've heard good things about this one that the WWE did, though, from the wrestling sites that recieved advanced copies. So I guess the WWE did alright.

I just watched the documentary. It's NOT as good as Heroes of World Class, but it's good.
I just can't understand how Kevin Von Erich can even smile anymore. He's been true so much. He lost his older brother when they were just kids and then he lost every other brother he had by 1993.
The Gino Hernandez stuff was really touching. He reminds me of Tully Blanchard.
They have interviews with:
Gary Hart Bill Irwin (who looks great) Michael Hayes Buddy Roberts (who looks and sounds awful, seems like he had throat cancer or something) Kevin Von Erich (whom looks awesome, probably can still kick some ass) Jimmy Garvin (who aged mediocre) and Skandar Akbaar (whom looks great)
The WWE guys interviewed are:
HHH Jerry Briscoe JR Foley HBK
One thing that pissed me off was no King Kong Bundy interview, I was hoping to see what he looked liked today.
Kevin telling the story about Chris Von Erich killing himself almost made me tear up, it's very emotional and very well made.
I highly recommend it.

Buddy Roberts did have throat cancer. I heard he needs a device to help him speak these days.
