Growing up in Calgary I got to meet alot of great wrestlers..I met Brian Pillman(awesome guy) and pretty much every Hart with the exception of Owen in the 80's,I also had Hiro Hase who was a friend of my sisters stay overnight at my house when I was 12,my girlfriend is also related to all the big name wrestlers here on the East coast of Canada(Leo Burke who trained Mark Henry,Edge and Christian is her uncle)and through the family I got to meet Rick Martel and Paul Vachon 2 years ago...I know it says "the E" but these guys are worth mentioning I think.

After a live event in Cincinnati (I think it was RAW) my buddy and I went to Applebee's to get some appetizers. We walked in and the place was packed, but it usually is. I looked to my left and I tapped my buddy on the shoulder and said, "Hey, isn't that Christ Jericho, edge Christian and Val Venis?" On our right was Haku, Eddie, Chavo, and a bunch of other guys that came with the purchase of WCW. Anyway, we asked our server if he thought they would mind if we went up and talked to them. He said they were cool, but wait until they finished eating. After they finished eating, our server came up to us and said, "Hey, the wrestlers said it is cool for you to go talk to them". We were nervous as all get out, but we went up to them with our programs from the event and an ink pen. Val and Christian and Edge were cool, but were involved in their own conversation. Y2J, on the other hand, was one of the most unbelieveably nice guys! He shook our hands and passed our program around for all the guys to autograph. After that, Jericho invited us to hang out for a while and took the time to talk to us about anything, and asked us how we liked the show and how long we had been fans. That is probably my most memorable moment meeting a wrestler. He was a super top-notch A+ guy and I will always remember that. Then there was the time when I almost literally ran into Stone Cold and JR, but I'll save that for another episode of Rassler stories with goodoldjl. Jericho is all kinds of awesome, I remember back in 2003 before a live WWE event I saw him at a Red Lobster in Manhattan, talked to him for a few minutes after he was done with his meal. He asked us if we had tickets to the show,if not he would get them at no charge.Good Guy.

Before a small House show I met Shawn Michaels. I think it was in 96 and he was really friendly.

I met Mantaur right before wrestlemania 11(maybe 12) I was an 8 year old and was scared out of my mind of him. I hid behind my mom while my little sister (who was 6) talked to him and got an autograph. He was insanely nice and very sweet to a little girl. That was the day Kayfabe died

I met Bret Hart 3 times. All times a class act. I told him my Owen story the last time I saw him. He seemed so moved by it. I met Kurggan at an indy show. What an awesome guy! I have a picture of me, giving him an elbow in the corner. My elbow came up to him belly button. My brother wanted him to chokeslam him.

Flair, London, Kendrick.
Helms and Kennedy while searching for food in a foodcourt.
All this happened before live events.

Super nice guy. Met him a couple of months ago. Talked with him for a couple of minutes about his title win against Cena and what he was doing these days. Sabu was a couple of tables down, and while i was talking to Rob, Sabu attempted to open a bottle of Sprite lemonade and i guess it was shaken up at some point and when he opened it it sprayed lemonade all over this guys Sabu autograph. So Sabu wrote him another one. Funny stuff.

Stone Cold (with Jim Ross), Lita, Sable, and Stacy Keibler, back in 2003. I even had pictures of Austin and Lita, when they're plugging their books.
Had I not left the Army by a few days in 2005 (that was a few days after New Year's Revolution 05), I would have gotten an autograph from Triple H.
I also missed an autograph session with Kurt Angle back in 2001.

I met the big show in 2002. He was pretty nice. Good thing too, because I insulted him, but not intentionally. I standing behind a friend of mine who was getting a wrestling magazine signed by him and it was open to a display of pictures taken back in 1996. When he saw the pictures, he exclaimed, "God, I was skinny back then." I then proceeded to put my foot in my mouth, "You were cool then." He responded by restating that he was skinny but then he reallized what I had said and said, "what do you mean I was cool then, aren't I cool now?" and he pouted his lower lip. the crowd behind us awwed and laughed and I was embarrassed and was repeating "you're cool, you're cool." and laughing and wanting to disappear. But, then he signed my placemat and I asked him for a picture. he said, "sure, even though I'm not cool." He then pouted his lip again. Later on when I got the picture back I almost expected to see a pouting big show. But instead in the picture was me eyes closed mid laugh, standing next to the big show who had the world's largest cheesiest smile, especially compared to my friends' photos with him where he was smiling nicely. Yup, that would be my most memorable meeting with a wrestler.

This is the best I remember of this story.
I met Trish Stratus and Carlito last December at an autograph signing.
It was my turn, and I wanted to get a picture with the both of them. I stood between them and trish asked me my name and said hello while we shook hands. I went to shake carlito's hand, but sinse trish had already wrestled her last match with WWE, I told her "I wish you good luck with your future plans and all". Big mistake.
Carlito cut me off in his Carlito voice and said "Future Endeavors!"
The 3 of us started cracking up, it was quick and with such perfect timing, along with Carlito's nonchelance.
Me: "No, I didn't mean it like that!" Carlito: "You're suppossed to say future endeavors!" Trish: "Yeah, you're suppossed to wish me well in my future endeavors!" Me: "Ok. Trish, myself, on behalf of Carlito and the WWE, wish you well in your future endeavors". I was cracking up at this point, as were all of us.
We then took the pic really quick, as we were taking up reasonable time. We tried our best to make a straight face as quick as we can. I ended up looking mad as hell, Carlito had this half-grin look on his face as if he looked like he was jolding his laughter with all his might. But Trish, was wtery-eyed and was still laughing. It's one of the funniest pictures I have.
After the snap shot, Trish wanted to shake hands again, so as I shook her hand, she leaned over to me and wispered loudly "future endeavors", and everyone started laughing again.
I just thought it was weird seeing WWE superstars openly reciting WWE's "future endeavors" line.
And yes, I fired Trish.

Bret and Hogan... Hogan back in '91, Bret just a little over a year ago. And Ed Leslie stood behind me and posed for a picture that I had no idea was being taken, dunno if that counts.
