I saw part of that live at a smackdown taping a few years ago in Milwaukee
Angle won a battle royal and could challenge anyone on the smackdown roster to a match the following week.......he chose Sharmell

When I think of this feud, I think of Kurt Angle trying his damnedest to imitate Jake The Snake back in '92 in his feud with Savage. It just didn't work out for him... needless to say. And, come on, people... like you wouldn't want to have beastiality sex with Sharmell.  |

I liked that feud. It was kind of like a bizarro take on the Savage/Roberts feud. I think it was also a success in the sense that it was one of the only times in the 2000s that Angle was effectively booked as a heel to where people actually wanted him to lose.
