I remember getting mad as a kid when NITRO came about and how the similarities in names I thought was a weak rip off...Monday night raw...Monday Nit-ro...has anything ever been said about them sounding the same? Well I know when I first starting watching wrestling Monday Nitro was not just the WCW show but a series of shows on TNT on Monday night. Anybody else remember that? I think Monster-vision was one of them.

Man it is so wrong to see the DX footage over such a limp lame song.
Winner: 1997 - Pretty bad ass, WWF finally got it.
Loser: 1995 - Jesus christ what am I watching a Christian teen rock concert, a light beer commercial, or a bunch of confused young men playing volleyball? How the hell does that song represent wrestling and what guys want to watch. I boo this intro, boooooo.
Man... this just reminded me how lame the metal phase in the WWE was.
Hahahaha Monster Vision with Joe Bob Briggs, hahahaha I haven't thought about that show in years but that was f***ing money dude. Turner has some good experimental shit back in the day. I remember they would underground movies like Heavy Metal or American Pop both American adult animes at like one in the morning. I also remember the USA Network running softcore porn early in the AM. Man these kids are lucky today with the internet, when I was a kid I had to sit up until 2 in the morning and hope my parents did walk in when I wanted to watch "adult programming"

I like the one in 1996, where they show Yoko squashing some jobber, and Bret diving through the ropes. I loved how at the end, you see Shawn doing some weird dance, and Goldust flicking his tongue.

I guess I'm the only one who likes "To Be Loved." Nah I like it too. There are far worse songs that have been used to open or close wrestling shows. ..."The Biggest Letdown," for example.

I've never had a problem with "To Be Loved". That being said, I still like the '99 intro the best.

I don't seem to be getting any ads at all. I just get the message telling me there is going to be an ad but then it jumps straight to the intro video for the year. Using Firefox here. Same here, with Internet Explorer + Maxthon 2. I find it fascinating how just a few seconds of video snippets can get you really excited. When I watch some of those old intros, I just wanna watch the whole show. Well, except for 93 and 94, those intros sucked and the music sounded like the Nasty Boys' entrance theme plus sax.

There've been 20+ for Raw since 2005/06, I'd bet. Seems like they change it weekly. Does the WWE's list represent that?

Why is it that I can never get videos from WWE.Com to work no matter what computer I am on? If they want people to visit their site they really need to start using a format that doesn't suck it. I'm the same with Firefox yet IE is fine..........Anyone any clues as to how to fix it I forgot how bad 93, 94 & 96 were........I really dug 1995's one, that video was cool I had the same problem, it has to do with special .dll files you have to put in a certain Firefox folder. Here we go... Here's something a lot longer and more complicated, but if the above doesn't work, it's worth checking out: forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206213And here's this, which too might be worth checking out: port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx

Best: 2002-2006 ("Across the Nation")
Good: 93-94 (original theme), 2006-Present ("Wanne Be Loved")
Crap: 95, 97, 98-2001
The one they used from 98-2001 is horrible. It's sounds like some 140 lb. heroine addicts trying to sound hard, screaming incoherently into a microphone. The beat is crap too.

Someone appears to be missing from the 2004 intro..... Yup, looks like they used the shots of RVD from 2003's intro. Aww man. I was hoping that at least one of them had this clip of the Big Show. Kurt Angle sprayed him with a fire extinguisher, the smoke clears out and Big Show looks insanely angry and the smoke is coming off of his head.. does anyone remember that? That might have been on the SD opening around 2000-2001.
