Does anyone think they should have touched on Raw is Owen? Nah, not necessary really. It was big, but with the death of Benoit, let's just try to concentrate on the positives.

Is there any particular reason why they don't just release individual season sets? Granted, the sales for the earlier years (1993-1996) may not be that great, but cherry picking one or two moments from each year seems rather pointless.

Because they're not going to put 52 episodes a year on DVD.

Because they're not going to put 52 episodes a year on DVD. That's true. It would come with too many discs, I suppose.

Definitely picking this one up. Great line-up of matches they've got there.

A couple nights ago a friend and I watched the Best of Raw Vol. 1 and 2 DVD set from 2001. It was really fun reliving various angles and watching what seemed like a bunch of kick ass hype videos. This DVD is definately something I'm interested in. And hell, who doesn't want a DVD with not only Shelton vs HBK but also The Rock's concert that was ruined, for no reason, by Goldberg.

Adding the Quake/Yoko sumo match would have been cool too.

That's true. It would come with too many discs, I suppose. And too much time editing out the logo. Which would probably cost them 10 times what the Wildlife Fund wanted to settle the suit. Yes I am bitter over it, still!

I would have thought that they'd have the Hart/Austin confrontation with the ambulance from April 21, 1997. But at least they have Shawn/Owen with the concussion angle, Shawn and Angle's Iron Man, and Bret vs. Kid. Also nice that they have a clip from the first wrestling event I went to (February 17, 1997- Chyna's Raw debut)
Looks like a winner to me. One to be watched in marathon fashion, for sure.
