So I am watching the show, and any idiot could see from a mile away once that huge Indian monster came out to destroy the Irish troll, that Hogan would come out to save the little guy.
Hogan comes out dressed as a heel, looking like Hollywood Hulk Hogan, yet the fans pop. How easily they forget.
Anyway, the thing that has angered me the most is how Hogan decided to shoot on The Macho Man Randy Savage, by using Savage's hand movements and voice. It is clear Hogan has lost his mind in his old age, what was he trying to do by evoking the Macho Man, a person who Vince McMahon hates on all levels?
Now that Hogan has lost his wife, his son Nick to crime, and his daughter who seems to want to become the next Brittany Spears, Hogan must have snapped inside, deep in his mind. All of a sudden he is going to find himself alone, the house will be empty. Then he will realize that his is an old man now, and cannot 'go' anymore.
Hogan has always known that Savage is and was a better wrestler and entertainer than himself. This is clearly the reason Hogan decided to shoot on Savage on RAW. Yes, it was very quick, but it was shooting from what I have seen and know of their history.
On a side note, Hogan looked as if he was as stiff as a board. He looked like his upper body was 1 foot further out than his lower body. I thought the black was for him trying to be a heel, but then it hit me that he was trying to cover up as much as his body as possible, in order to hide all of the braces holding him together. Or perhaps it was to hide his flair like man boobs? We will never know..
Before you think I dislike Hogan, let it be known that I was a 'hulkamaniaic' in the mid 80's, grew up loving him. Once he turned heel I still liked him, even when he was soaking up the time as the leader of the nWo, to stroke his ego. Then something snapped in me, and now I have a great dislike for him as a wrestler, and him as a person. ( due to his inderect involvement in turning Nicks' friend into a vegetable )
Thumbs down for Hogan.

He did happen to roll his eyes after doing the gesture. No one here seemed to mention that.

So I am watching the show, and any idiot could see from a mile away once that huge Indian monster came out to destroy the Irish troll, that Hogan would come out to save the little guy. So? That's the charm of it all. Hogan comes out dressed as a heel, looking like Hollywood Hulk Hogan, yet the fans pop. How easily they forget. Don't cheer for Hogan if he wears anything but red and yellow... gotcha. *writes a note to remember* Anyway, the thing that has angered me the most is how Hogan decided to shoot on The Macho Man Randy Savage, by using Savage's hand movements and voice. It is clear Hogan has lost his mind in his old age, what was he trying to do by evoking the Macho Man, a person who Vince McMahon hates on all levels? All of a sudden he is going to find himself alone, the house will be empty. Then he will realize that his is an old man now, and cannot 'go' anymore. Not that I know (seeing as I don't personally know Hogan and I'm not a member for WWE creative) but either you're reading too far into it or maybe they plan on going somewhere with this. In either case I think you're overreacting. Hogan has always known that Savage is and was a better wrestler and entertainer than himself. This is clearly the reason Hogan decided to shoot on Savage on RAW. Yes, it was very quick, but it was shooting from what I have seen and know of their history. Ya ok... He's old, age does that to people. Before you think I dislike Hogan, let it be known that I was a 'hulkamaniaic' in the mid 80's, grew up loving him. ( due to his inderect involvement in turning Nicks' friend into a vegetable ) Thumbs down for Hogan. I'll still give him a thumbs up just for the hell of it. I'll politely disagree with your ranting here, I just enjoyed the show and had fun for what the whole thing was. Nostalgia.

Yes, that's it. I forgot about when Hogan rolled his eyes after he attacked Savage using Savage's own hand movement and voice. That 3 second eye roll was a very direct attack on Savage. In that small moment, Hogan was taking advantage of the fact it was a huge RAW, it was live, so he decided to attack savage and discredit all of Savage's work with that eye roll.
It was code - what all of that stuff was really saying is something like this:
Savage, your gimmick sucks, your insane, I am a better wrestler, and everything you are is just crap *roll eyes in a dismissive way *
I wish The Million Dollar Man came out to bribe Hogan to let Kahli destroy Hornswaggle.

Might as well start crying and yell "It's still real to me, dammit!" Honestly, can't you just enjoy a television show at face value? Hulk saved the little guy, big surprise. I honestly don't think you need to equate his personal life into a bloody 5 minute professional wrestling spot. Absurd.

There's an awful "snap into a slim jim" joke there too Chris Hanson: It says here you told LittleGyrl13 in the chat session you wanted to, 'Snap into her slim jim'... Randy Savage: OHH YEA! I'm real sorry and I swear I'll never do it again! DIG IT!?

By saying "Never Say Never...Ooh Yeah", I thought Hogan was laying the seeds for a possible last ever Hogan vs. Savage match in WWE. Did you guys think it was a dig because Savage wasn't there or something? Maybe I'm terribly naive, but Savage wasn't at RAW's XV anniversary, but neither was The Rock, Bret Hart, or Razor Ramon, and Hogan didn't say a thing about them/imitate them.
Plus, Hogan did cut a very scripted promo, nicely toeing the company line...I don't think he'd just go out on WWE TV in 2007 and randomly shoot on "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the hell of it.
The Savage reference wasn't a bad thing, IMO. It was there on purpose, and I don't think it was Hogan weirdly going off on Savage, unless they had a really awful phone conversation in the past week (which, you never know with those two).

To be fair, Savage has been shooting on Hogan for the better part of this decade.

Here, have one or two of these. Ice Cream Sandwiches make everything feel better, especially overblown anger over imaginary near paranoid swipes taken at people you don't even know.
