I thought that it was LONG overdue. To me, once Randy Orton (during his legend killer character) couldn't end it, it was another old timer who refused to give up his spot. There was enough of that on the show already. I wasn't watching WrestleMania, but got a text saying Taker's streak was over and I couldn't have cared less by that point.

I'm just saying, this forum has been 100% sanitized for your protection. It's been over sanitized for the mod's ego. There is no forum that is this sanitized for grown up people.

Vince grew that telenovela villain mustache. He knew what to expect as far as crazy plot twists go.

Vince is up to something…the question is what? He has to be about to invest some of that money into something wild. Vince McMahon: Let's just say that there was a reason why a certain company with "power" didn't get on TV, pal.

I always find it funny how the "bring back WWF" crowd seems to just causally ignore the fact that they legally can't call themselves that anymore. Feels like Marvel fans (pre-Disney/Fox merger) acting like they don't know why Wanda and Pietro Maximoff have parents that aren't Magneto in the MCU. Anyway, it kind of worked out, because they got into making movies shortly after that, so even in the context of kayfabe, WWE is a multimedia entertainment company. *shrugs* Everyone knows they can’t and why, at least fans who actually care enough about wrestling. Losing WWF was all “I’m Vince McMahon dammit!!” And not anything Vince couldn’t have solved without a little money. It wouldn't surprise me if, during the meeting the Fund had with the WWF, there was a *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* hinting at with money and Vince either ignored it or refused to pay because, like you typed, he was all "I'm Vince McMahon, dammit!" mode and nothing happened.

That was Vince's plan all along! Sink the ship, buy the wreck! It worked in his plan to buy WCW.

I didn't realize until some time later that his "Higher Brain Pattern" theme had lyrics. I thought it was just noise. BTW, the rap version of "My Time" wasn't bad. It just didn't fit Triple H. My hot take: Ric Flair's 1992 WWF theme was his best one. Ric Flair's 1992 WWF theme SLAPS. I'm not sure why they didn't use the theme to 2001 (probably copyright), but that theme he had in 1992 was even better. The only thing that I would change is having Ric come out after the drums ended instead of during it.

"I'm glad Vince bought WCW. Can you imagine what he can do? There is NO WAY he can screw this up. It's borderline IMPOSSIBLE!"

"My Time" is better than "The Game". I say this as someone who loves both themes. Also prefer "619" to "Booyaka 619". I actually feel that Trips' best theme was "Higher Brain Pattern." I know it was the predecessor to "My Time," but it just seems better to me. I didn't realize until some time later that his "Higher Brain Pattern" theme had lyrics. I thought it was just noise. Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I'm never a fan of shows that everyone says that I must watch. I usually never get the hype and tune out. In the mid 2000s after the hype for Seinfeld died down (and the mid 2010s for Curb), I watched it with a clear mind and laughed my ass off. I've found most of my ass, but I'm still searching for the rest.

Dig Dig Dig, Dig Diggity Dog Break it! I haven't played it in a few years so I don't know how good the game is, but I do know that I can't handle the N64 controller like I used to.

I played as Scott Steiner and had an undefeated streak that made Goldberg's look like Gillberg's.

The November 12th 1987 episode of Prime Time Wrestling has the Slick, Jive Soul Bro video. I know it's a fairly well-known edit, but the beginning of the video is removed. For those that don't know, at the beginning Slick is in a chicken restaurant eating "YARD BIRD MAAAANNNN"! Dailymotion has it: www.dailymotion.com/video/xf5zlf

What are your WWE DVD's the company has released? Not many. Most of them were filled with: 1.) Ridiculous documentaries that seem to be written by that John Lovitz' 'eh...that's the ticket' SNL character. 2.) Crappy matches with no foresight into adding context (promos, pop-up info, etc.) 3.) Not that many promos (I don't care how important Hogan-Andre is. If I don't know the story, all I get is a slogfest between two dudes that mean nothing).

Job. Unless the wrestler is beating their rival that they never beat, then you go out on your back.

I didn't even notice that she got them done until I read past the first few comments in this thread, honestly. When I saw the "Hopefully it was her choice" comments I thought they were talking about her posing in a bikini, which I'm sure she's totally fine with. 😂 Hopefully it IS 100% her decision, though. Yeah, like maybe it's because I weirdly have a sizable amount of friends with huge boobs... *puts arm around Mozenrath * Mozenrath...buddy...I think that we need to hang out together...just the two of us...along with your female friends. You know what...you don't have to come if you don't want to. It'll just be me and your friends having fun. OK?

Blondie's film series had 28 films between 1938 to 1950. How many of you knew that until I mentioned this? Charlie Chan had 37 films and an animated cartoon with Jodie Foster. The National Lampoon and Carry On franchises might have more, but I'm too lazy to look.
