My not-so-bold prediction is that Reigns vs. Cesaro is going to be awesome. And people are going to complain about the result.

Yikes, that doesn't sound good at all. I hope everything goes well for her.

Ever heard of schadenfreude? Plus, some of the people that were gloating just didn't like Ronda. Schadenfreude is to be expected when a polarizing sports figure goes down. I think it just speaks volumes about Holm's character that she is not going down that route. I admit to being a Rousey fangirl who has defended her a lot, but she brought a lot of this on herself. As I said before, I'm very interested in how Ronda rebounds from this. I think the smartest thing she could do right now is stay quiet for a long while and probably stay off the internet. I don't believe this is the last time we'll see her fight, or even hold a title, but time will tell. And she should probably fire some people.

The news of the upset is so big that my mother asked me about it today. Her reaction when I told her that Ronda got knocked out: "Well, that's what she gets for going Hollywood."

There's an interesting mix of shock and schadenfreude going around, but its a virtual no-brainer that a rematch happens.
If Ronda comes back a bit humbler and wins, it's a great sports comeback story. If she loses, it cements Holm as legit.
Either way, it will be a huge buyrate.

So is Meisha Tate going to train her for the rematch? #Rocky3 Holy shit that was a shock! And I'm having a bit of a chuckle a all of the people around me acting like they called it. .

It feels a bit soon for Reigns/Cena and doing Reigns/Lesnar again with Reigns as a babyface is just asking for trouble. To me, Cena/Undertaker seems like the best choice for a headline match, but honestly, I don't know what I'd do with everyone else. Losing Rollins has really screwed things up.

They can push Cesaro to the title, call back Brock, turn Roman heel or all of the above. The bigger problem is that there's five hours of programming each week and none of it feels must-see.
They need a complete overhaul in how they approach the shows and if this week is any indication, they aren't at all willing to do that.

As long as Ambrose isn't the heel in this feud, I see it being a big success. The best option, of course, would be a Reigns heel turn. However, they still could do a pretty compelling match where they both stay face.
If they want to be stubborn and turn Ambrose heel then they shouldn't be surprised when the crowd gives them the exact opposite reaction from they are looking for.

Reigns winning by turning heel and joining the Authority would be my pick. Reigns winning as a babyface wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but that would mean we would be guaranteed a Sheamus or Del Rio feud and I'd rather not have to do that.

If we are thinking about this using current storylines, I would say Reigns wins this only to have Sheamus cash in. After that, Reigns chases for the title and finally wins it at Rumble.
Ideally, Ambrose or Owens wins the Rumble and it sets up a WM program between one of them. Unfortunately, I'm thinking that they are stubborn about having him beat Lesnar at Mania, so we'll probably see that again.

Shit. Rollins, despite his crappy booking, has been my wrestler of the year pick this year. It would be an understatement to say that losing him would really, really suck.

What I'm hoping is that there isn't panic based on this rating. They really need to treat this like a rebuilding season and realize that it will take a while to establish new stars with the mainstream audience.
Otherwise, brace yourselves for more of Big Show and Kane, lots of Authority, and John Cena's 16th, 17th and 18th title run.

What wine goes with soul? With the quality of this angle, I'd say a nice bottle of 2 Buck Chuck.

I frankly wouldn't be all that shocked if he decides to sell the company sometime in the near future. It would be the corporate version of disinheriting the kids.
