They should call themselves Linkin Park with whoever they chose.
Like what Queen is doing

Always liked this. That squid was scary as hell. At most times, the squid effect looks good although in the full Miniseries version where the mother squid grabbed its deceased child, it did not look as good.

I remember liking this when it first debuted. Always preferred squids and octopuses to sharks anyway. I was probably watching something else when it debuted.

RIP Vontae Davis
He was found dead at the age of 35 and no foul play is suspected

Well, with the Elite Eight done. I am currently in the lead with 690 points.
And GreyFMDan has the best chance of winning with a 60.9% chance to my 39.1% chance although I have the most max points.

Is that the one where the science guys tried to sound extra sciencey by constantly referring to the squid as “Architeuthis”? Maybe....

Sadly the version I am covering is the cut 1 hour and 55 minute movie version that I realized it was halfway through. I did watch the 3 hour cut as well and I do talk about what I missed, but yeah....my bad on mostly covering the cut version. Anyway, what do you get when you decide to take a different Peter Benchley book and make it into a TV Miniseries/Movie? You get 1996's The Beast. Enjoy some Calimari and some spiced rum. monster-crap.blogspot.com/2024/03/monster-crap-inductee-beast-1996.html

With the Sweet Sixteen done, MysterMystery has the lead with 600 points.
As far as who has the best chance of winning based on maximum points available, that would actually be me with 1170 points.

I like both.
Which is why anythime I hear them comparing GxK to Minus One, I want to smack them in the back of the head.

Living several hours away from Baltimore as part of the DMV area, this completely sucks.
At least someone was able to notify authorities this might happened so they could stop people coming on and lower the casualties although I wish those people in road repair also got off the bridge.
Hope the government don't play politics with getting this bridge rebuilt, but I sadly think we are getting that.

"Ebirah, Horror of the Deep", mainly because it felt like it was it's own movie before the main characters accidently find Godzilla and wake it up to fight Ebirah. That's because it was supposed to be a King Kong movie, but something happened so Godzilla replaced Kong.

After the first half of the Sweet Sixteen has ended, we have a tie at the top between MysterMystery and PushValVenis.
PushValVenis also has the best chance of winning the brackets with the most maximum number of points he can score.

You know, as I was thinking about Godzilla (as I have more than occasionally done), I thought of something interesting to ask. While most people will probably say their favorite Godzilla film is where Godzilla is alone as the Monster, I started to wonder what are people's favorite Godzilla film where Godzilla isn't alone in the carnage.
So everyone who sees this post: What is your favorite Godzilla film where Godzilla has other monsters to fight with/ play with?
Mine is Godzilla vs. Destroyah.

NOTLD3D is so close to finally being free.... And unless it gets a vote, Pumpkinhead: Ashes To Ashes (which has been in the poll for just as long) will not be in the next poll

I really don’t understand how these bracket points work. The person who is now in first place is the only person with their champions eliminated. How does that work? Also, about an hour ago we were tied for first with only one game (Yale/SDSU) left to go for the night and despite having the same result, he jumped me by 20 points? I think that besides his champion being eliminated, his bracket has done very well. If you look at the Max points, you'll see it is not as high because his champion is eliminated.

After the first weekend, MysterMystery leads with 480 points.
For most potential points, that is still GreyFMDan with 1710 points.
