So when searching for something to read, I finally got back to around to re-reading these classics of absurdity. Hadn't read 'em in years, and knew how much I loved 'em the first go 'round, but good grief!
Douglas Adams was a comic genius. Lovin' every minute of re-reading the 'trilogy in five parts'
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy The Restaurant at the End of the Universe Life, the Universe and Everything So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish Mostly Harmless
There pretty much have to be more fans right here, on the WCrap forums yes?

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe was my favourite book in the series.
NOT that there is anything wrong with the other books, I just prefer the 2nd one.

I really need to actually buy the trilogy someday.
Absolutely brilliant books. Haven't read them since high school, and I miss them. Hilarious stuff. Adams was a genius.

I love the Hitchhiker's Guide series in all its iterations. Book, movie, BBC TV series, radio series... If I could find a way to be involved in a radio play performance of any of the parts of the trilogy, I'd jump at the chance. Though I can't decide who I'd rather be, Arthur or Ford.

I've so far read Books One and Two. Forty percent of the way through the trilogy, I am impressed. Any book that can make me laugh out loud constantly is great. Douglas Adams, David Sedaris, Kurt Vonnegut. Good stuff.

You know, looking at my sig, I just had a brainstorm. UltraMantis Black as Zaphod Beeblebrox in a radio play/audiobook adaptation of any of the Hitchhiker's Guide books. License to print money!

I love the books. Just finished re-reading them all again.
Got a leather bound compilation last Christmas.
I could easily read any of them at any given time, they're great.

I read all of 'em in one week at school (screw school work!) and I LOVED them. I kinda' wish the movie was a trilogy though.

I only found out because I looked at the Mostly Harmless entry on Wikipedia and saw that there was a link to another book. I figured it was a book about the books that I had just never heard of but was then very happy. The end of the 5th book left me completely depressed so it will be good to see a better ending or continuation.
