Correct me if it ever did actually happen at some point. Flair was good enough to not need a manager, but so were Savage and DiBiase, yet Sherri did great work with both. The Flair/Henning/Heenan trio was perfect (pun!) but it does strike me that Sherri could have fit the bill just as well. Same for WCW, Sherri managing Flair during his heel run against Hogan also would have been a fine fit. A grange history scenario worth considering.

She did in WCW for a time in '94, up to his retirement match with Hogan from memory.

She did in WCW 94, but for his WWF run, Heenan and Perfect didn’t need anyone else

She did manage Flair. She debuted in WCW looking for the "Right Man" and at Clash 27, she appeared to choose Sting before the world title unification match against Flair. It was another ruse to betray Sting.

Sherri and Macho were a much better match. I still love the idea that Sherri got into Macho's ear and led him even further down the dark path of bitterness and jealousy, then ditched him when the partnership was no longer advantageous. Her alliance with Flair didn't really make much sense from a character perspective.
