Oh, I'm of absolutely no help right now. The key thing is "later on". That's all I'm saying on the subject. *pulls out a silver platter* Just go ahead and put the game on here and hand it to the Mafia. Because they're salivating over a Town lynch Day 1. A town lynch was most likely on day one. Everyone knew that. However we hope that even if it is town it will in someway lead us down a path toward making the town stronger. If there is anyway to do that why wait till later?

I'm racking my brain, but I can't think of any roles where the person is both immensely useful but also absolutely restricted from revealing said role. And as such, I can't really buy the claim.

Hm, well my partner having to go to bat for we was something I hoped really wouldn't be necessary, like Bundy said, if there's a protector role out there putting the protection on him would be fantastic. As for the voting right now, yeah D-2's joke vote and retraction is suspicious, and he is fitting the lurkerish profile I believe. I'll be keeping my vote on tfmcmg until something else happens. He's just played too lurkerish while not adding diddly squat when actually speaking.

Everybody remember who voted for me, how hard their case was, and who bandwagon'd and when. This isn't over. As much as you want to claim bandwagon, and that you are a townie, we game you a chance to role claim and you didn't take it. Your problem was that you did something at the wrong time and this whole place was a powderkeg ready to explode and your scummy drive-by vote was the match that set it off. If you are what I think you are, then I'm very worried that we might have just helped the mafia. On the other hand though, you can't do something like that, forget the votes on the day of a lynch and then when probed be cryptic, if you could help the town by role-claiming you should have done it.

Suspect anyone in particular, D-lirious-2?

If D-lirious-2 was a townie, than a less than stellar play spelled his doom. Out of everything done on Day 1, his drive by joke vote on Gunslinger was the scummiest thing done. If he is a backup power role, like he's hinting at, it would've behooved him to role claim, seeing as the protector could've kept him alive tonight from the mafia. I'd have preferred keeping a backup power role alive and eat the bullet myself than have a potentially useful town role bite the dust due to a VERY bad play.
We'll find out whether we made the right decision soon enough. I think we did.

The term "bandwagon" sure is getting thrown around a lot in this game.

Well it will be interesting to see how this turns out. Quite a few people who didn't chip in with anything towards the end

What is also interesting is the list of people that didn't vote and didn't contribute in the additional time that we were allotted.
As for D-2... we'll find out your role soon enough, and I still feel confident in my vote for you -- it wasn't a bandwagon, as no one had stepped up. It was a drive-by vote that was only removed AFTER someone mentioned how scummy it was. That threw up a red flag for me, larger than any other of the suspicions and theories had up to that point.

Those who didn't contribute and didn't vote are among the ones we need to look towards in the next Day Phase.
And I kinda doubt D2 has any pro-Town power role. Remember, a Mafia member in the last game tried to pull the "don't lynch me, you need me" defense moments before being lynched, and we all know how that turned out. There's every chance that D2's claim has no more merit, and is just a last-ditch effort to either scare away voters or trick real power roles into stupidly coming forth to dismiss his claims.

You know the drive by vote I could overlook, he did give a reason, although not good. It was the follow up tag onto Jag, who although he was suspect had been the hot suspect days earlier. If D2 had been following then was the time to vote for Jag. There was no new info to make someone vote him at the end that wasn't there earlier. The only thing Jag had was an established pile of votes. Then he unvoted Jag after he took a pile of those votes. So was he trying to save someone else? The entire situation started bad and got scummier. If he flips town it wasn't because we fell for some mafia bluff, its because he played into his own demise no matter how he wants to spin it.

My role pm prohibits me from getting into specifics other than i am Peeta Mellark and Gunslinger is Katniss Everdeen, the co-winners of last year's Hunger Games Wow honestly, telling us your roles wasn't a good idea at all and completely unnecessary. There were other people who were ahead of him (Gunslinger) in the votes. I think you should have only revealed your roles if he was the lead in votes. Now you have left yourselves wide open. >.< So whoever the protector is; I would highly suggest you protect one of the two. Is there more than one protector role? I sure hope so cause it is very possible we could lose one of the two. -_-

While true, there was a bandwagon on Gunslinger with quite a bit of steam behind it. As town, it is my responsibility to do what i feel necessary to help the town lynch mafia. If i can help the town avoid a guaranteed mislynch of a townie with the info i posess then i am going to share it with the town.

Hm. I don't like this recurring theme of people not being able to give out specific information on their roles. If it's that way for everyone, then it leaves the door open for easy fake claims, as well as bypassing the chance for counter-claims in the event that one is made.

Sorry, again for the delay, guys, but I wanted to make these write-ups good. (Haymitch as young man, winner of the 50th Annual Hunger Games.) The Cornucopia The Cornucopia. It's the event that starts the beginning of each and every Hunger Games. Each tribute, is placed on a pedestal and are given a short amount of time to survey their surroundings and get a feel of the arena before them. All pedestals surround a gigantic Cornucopia horn, filled to the brim and surrounded by useful supplies, be it food, survival equipment, luxuries, or weapons.
After the timer expires, and the signal goes for the game to start, each tribute makes a dash for the Cornucopia, in an attempt to get a good head start in the game. The event begins the game with chaos, as it always ends up becoming a free-for-all bloodbath. It is here where the the first casualties of the game show up.
The current odd variation of the Hunger Games ends up not being so different, as each 'tribute' are giving their sides of the story in order to get the upper hand at winning the audience over to vote a lynch on other tributes.
It's a free-for all of accusations, where the audience is to vote accordingly to which case they agree with most.
===
During this whole Cornucopia of debating, things weren't looking too well for the District Rebellion. Pressure was being put onto many Rebels, and District Rebellion, Leader, Haymitch Abernathy was getting rather worried. And whenever Haymitch gets worried, Haymitch start to drink, and that's what he does.
Little by little, as the pressure is being put onto the rebels, Haymitch continues to drink from his many canteens of liquor. He drinks himself into being an incoherent drunk. Haymitch gets up off his chair while the others are speaking, staggering around the stage, hollering something unitelligible. He falls into the chair occupied by Effie Trinkett, his head between her legs. The crowd responds with laughter and token applause.
Haymitch is confused and tries to give Effie a big hug, which she manages to fend off, as the other tributes pull him away.
"Gets yer damn dirty hands off a me! YOU, y'all are fishy to me! especially YOU!" He says pointing at a tribute. "I don't like that shirt you're wearing! The color pisses me off, and for that, audience, ya with me here? Vote that fellow, to be lynched, his shirt annoys me, and is worthy of a lynching!" Katniss, Face-palms herself, at her mentor's embarassment.
===
"Audience! Would you rather listen to this drunken mad-man, who throws his own idiotic, and unsensible accusations around, or would you rather listen to coherent people, who are sane in the mind and give more accurate sides to the story? I say you do not trust a man, who in a serious situation decides to get drunk." President Snow, says taking advantage of the situation.
"I'm sure most would agree with me here, that a drunk man is a liability in this game, and must be lynched, before he causes anymore of a distraction!" Snow continues on, as the audience nods in agreement with him.
"Would you want to be on the side of a Rebellion, lead by a crazy Drunk? Or would you rather side with your trusted Government from many of years? The vote is up to you." And with that, Snow sits down, smiling, taking note of the audience's reactions. His plan seems to be working.
Soon after, the audience goes to the voting section to throw in their votes. Caesar comes out later, with the results.
===
"The first casualty, voted to be lynched in the Hunger Games is... Haymitch Abernathy." Caesar, reads with a look of disdain on his face.
"NO! You can't have me! You won't lynch me! I won't let you! IDIOTS! I am the one who is trying to save you! YOU FOOLS!" Haymitch yells in fury.
Haymitch brings, out his pistol. "Come get me!" he says, as the audience backs away in terror. "I know you guys, won't shoot me, cause it's bad T.V to do it, so lets see ya all try to hold me down for your lynch!"
"Haymitch, you're not making this look good for us!" says Peeta Mellark, as he tries to hold down his mentor. "Get off a me kid, I know what I'm doing!" Haymitch says, trying to wrestle free.
"No, I won't let you make the Rebels look like fools!" Peeta says, holding his grip stronger. Haymitch turns around, and slams his fist into Peeta's face.
Haymitch, turns around facing the tributes, his back to the audience. "Anyone else wanna try and lynch me? I'm trying to put it across, all y'all's mind that I'm a good guy! Why won't anyone believe me! I'll show you, you'll..." BANG! Haymitch accidently pulls the trigger, shooting his own foot.
"DAMN! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" CRACK!
Drunk, and jumping around in pain from the bullet in his foot, he falls backwards off the stage, and lands on his neck. Effectively breaking it.
"Ladies, and Gentleman, it seems we must retire for the day, due to this shocking turn of events. Paramedics are telling me, that Haymitch is dead, after breaking his neck from the fall." Caesar announces.
Everyone, is dismissed to their living quarters, until the Hunger Games, continue again in one weeks time.
The rebels, walk out of the stadium, with their heads down low. The District Rebellion Leader, dead on the first day of the games.
Katniss stays with her mentor as his body is put into the ambulance. "I'll make sure, the Capitol pays for this..."
