You are the worst things in sports. You sound disinterested in everything you do sucking the emotion out of any event you call, unless pompous ass is an emotion. Don't give me he hurt his vocal cords thing as he's been awful for as long as I can remember. Everyone hates him and why Fox doesn't save money by firing him hiring someone cheaper. I can't imagine the replacement being a quarter as hated.

Sorry, but Thom is not the answer. He's even more of an ass than Buck. Sure, he cares more, but that doesn't make him easier to listen to.
Hire Harry Doyle and Mark Grace and let them say whatever they want. And yes, I want Bob Eucker in character.

1: It's always hard to understand what Buck's saying due to the huge Red Sox cock he's constantly throating.
2: Tom Hamilton should be the defacto announcer for all major sports games. All Star, Super Bowl, you name it.

Troy Aikman isn't bad most of the time, though he's unbearable during a Cowboys game.
I just remembered his snarky commentary during the Giants/Vikings game last year in Detroit, especially the last couple of minutes where it was painfully obvious the Vikings had no chance of winning yet they were stretching out the game as long as possible. He was almost like a heel commentator (if you're a Vikings fan anyway) and it was pretty awesome.
But yeah, get Joe Buck the hell away from baseball. Put Gus Johnson there. At least he'd have emotion.
